Rupert Murdoch Tweets About "Jihadist Cancer" Following Paris Attack
[HOLLYWOODREPORTER] Rupert Murdoch is speaking out after Gay Paree was hit by terror attacks earlier in the week.

The 21st Century Fox Chairman and CEO tweeted that "Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible," going on to tweet "Big jihadist danger looming everywhere from Philippines to Africa to Europe to US. Political correctness makes for denial and hypocrisy."

He was criticized in December after he tweeted congratulations to the Australian Daily Telegraph, which is part of his News Corp empire, for scooping the competition in its coverage of a siege in Sydney.

Two groups of holy warriors took hostages in Gay Paree Friday, where they hand standoffs against French security forces. At one location, French police freed a hostage and killed two brothers linked to al-Qaeda. The brothers were suspected of killing 12 people at a Gay Paree newspaper Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
on Wednesday. At a separate location, a kosher supermarket, four hostages died after a gunman took the store. Police eventually rescued the surviving hostages and killed the gunman.

Afghanistan
Taleban reject Afghan government posts
Kabul - The Afghan Taleban have turned down the offer of government posts made by the new dispensation in Kabul under President Ashraf Ghani. The offer came from new President Ghani in a bid to end the insurgency that threatens the recovery of the country, BBC reported.

More than three months after assuming office, President Ghani is still to announce the shape of his cabinet. The process has been delayed because of disagreements with President Ghani's partner and Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah Abdullah.

The president's spokesman has denied that the jobs were offered formally. But a source close to President Ghani said the government should be drawn "not just from the two teams, but from all parties in Afghanistan".

The three men whom President Ghani had hoped to draw into his government are Mullah Zaeef, the former Taleban ambassador to Pakistan who has lived relatively openly in Kabul for some years, Wakil Muttawakil, the former Taleban foreign minister and Ghairat Baheer, a close relative of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, whose forces are allied to the Taleban.

The ministerial posts earmarked for them were rural affairs, the borders, giving the Taleban responsibility for collecting customs, and the Hajj, the religious pilgrimage to Mecca.

There have also been negotiations over appointing Taleban governors in three southern provinces -- Nimruz, Kandahar and Helmand. This would have been the most contentious part of the deal for the international community. Most of the NATO casualties in Afghanistan were in efforts to keep the Taleban out of the south.

But the government's offer has now been turned down. A source close to the Taleban leadership said security deals signed by the new government allowing some international troops to remain in Afghanistan when combat troops left at the end of 2014 was the main stumbling block.

The Taleban also want changes in the constitution and immunity from prosecution before they enter into negotiations on joining the government.

The Taleban disagrees with deals allowing some NATO troops to remain in Afghanistan but the offer of posts shows that Ashraf Ghani is different from his predecessor Hamid Karzai -- willing to make bold and controversial gestures to secure change.

His supporters say that he has secured better cooperation with Pakistan to crack down on the Taleban inside their borders, and a number of Pakistani delegations have visited Kabul.

President Ghani has also called on China and Saudi Arabia to use their influence over Pakistan to improve relations.

UN to host new Libya peace talks in Geneva next week
Tripoli — The United Nations announced on Saturday a new round of peace talks between Libya’s warring factions in Geneva next week, as the European Union warned the country was at a “crucial juncture”.
Apparently Tripoli and Benghazi aren't safe enough to be a venue for talks about Libya. Geneva also has better food...
“This dialogue is an important opportunity for the Libyans to restore stability and prevent the country’s slide towards deeper conflict and economic collapse that should not be missed,” the UN mission in Libya said in a statement.

The announcement came after UN envoy Bernardino Leon met with rival camps and urged them to resume peace talks “before it is too late”.

Leon has proposed a freeze in military operations for a few days “in order to create a conducive environment for the dialogue,” according to the UN statement.

It said the talks were aimed at reaching an agreement on the formation of a unity government and to create “a stable environment” for the adoption of a new permanent constitution.
Yes, just what Libya needs, another government...
“Discussions will also seek to put in place the necessary security arrangements in order to bring an end to the armed hostilities raging in different parts of the country,” it added.

It did not give a specific date for the talks.

Difficulties finding a safe venue for the talks contributed to the delay, the UN said.
Like I was just saying...

Kerry meets Qaboos in Germany
[ARABNEWS] US Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
flew into Munich on Saturday and met with Omans ailing Sultan Qaboos.
"Sultan Caboose"??
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki
...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State...
said the purpose of the private meeting was to express his gratitude for their longstanding and strong relationship.

The sultan has not returned to Oman since traveling overseas for medical tests six months ago.

Kerry was only accompanied by one aide for the private talks, with the small number of news hounds traveling with the top US diplomat en route for India barred from access or from photographing the event.

Qaboos, 74, traveled to Germany in July for medical tests. Since then, he has made only one appearance, in a brief video that was broadcast on national television on Nov. 5.

In it, Qaboos spoke of what he called the good results of his treatment, but added that his condition requires monitoring.

Kerry last met with the sultan in May 2013 during an official trip to Muscat.

Venezuela's Maduro in OPEC kingpin Saudi for talks - "Please Please Please"

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was in OPEC's leading oil producer Saudi Arabia for talks Sunday, officials said, after he visited Iran to discuss the impact of plummeting crude prices.

Venezuela has said it is willing to cut production to support prices but OPEC decided in November to maintain an output ceiling of 30 million barrels per day.

The decision intensified the price slide that began in the middle of the year, blamed on softer growth in demand and a stronger United States dollar as well as oversupply.

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, his oil minister and other top officials have criticised Saudi Arabia for not backing steps to bolster prices.
"you're killing us here"
During his meeting with Maduro on Saturday, Rouhani again appeared to single out Riyadh, in remarks carried on the Iranian government's website.
"thank you, Captain Obvious"
"Without doubt, cooperation of countries that are on the same line in OPEC can neutralise the plans of some powers who are against OPEC, stabilising a reasonable price for oil in 2015," Rouhani said.
"about $150/bbl should do it!"
According to the official remarks, Maduro echoed Rouhani, "calling for the cooperation of oil exporting countries to bring back stability."
We got nuthin else!

All kidding aside, Maduro got a loan of desperation from his Chinese benefactors, in turn for managing his oil industry and the Chinese getting 600K bbl/day of low cost oil. BUT WAIT, there's more! 200K bbl/day goes to servicing the debt.

China cares about Maduro's plight as much as they care about Fat Boy's feudal kingdom. And the Saudis don't want to bankroll a loser, so.....he's on his own.

North Korea offers to suspend nuclear tests if U.S. and South Korea end military drills
[THEWEEK] North Korean official news agency KCNA reported on Saturday that the country used "a relevant channel" to send Washington a proposal on Friday, Rooters reports.

However,
you can observe a lot just by watching...
the floated deal North Korea will halt its nuclear tests if the U.S. stops conducting military drills with South Korea is similar to others made by Pyongyang before. They never stick, Rooters notes. North Korea calls its goal of creating a nuclear arsenal its "sacred sword" in 2012, the country agreed to halt nuclear tests in exchange for an easing of tensions with the U.S. But Pyongyang called off the deal two months later.

For its part, the U.S. State Department denounced the "proposal" as something more aggressive.

"The DPRK statement that inappropriately links routine U.S.-(South Korea) exercises to the possibility of a nuclear test by North Korea is an implicit threat," spokeswoman Jen Psaki
...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State...

Pyongyang lusting for Russian fighter jets
North Korea made an attempt to purchase advanced fighter jets from Russia by sending a special envoy, a senior South Korean military official told the JoongAng Ilbo on Thursday.

"Choe Ryong-hae, who visited Moscow as a special envoy of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in November last year, asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to provide Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets," the military source said.

Little has been disclosed about the discussions between Choe and Putin. Choe, a member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of North Korea, met with Putin on Nov. 18 and delivered a letter from Kim, the Russian presidential office has said, without providing further details. The Kremlin said the meeting was not open to the press, and no press conference was arranged afterward.

"The North produces many weapons systems domestically, but it appears to have sought Russia’s help because building fighter jets requires more complex technologies," said the official. "But because of international sanctions imposed on the North, Russia won’t likely sell it readily."

It is unknown how many jets the North attempted to acquire.
Each one is $40-50 million -- that's a lot of food aid...
During Choe’s visit to Russia, his delegation visited Khabarovsk in the Far East, where a major factory producing Sukhoi jets is located.
Vlad to Champ: let me show you how much trouble I can cause without actually doing much...
North Korea operates a fleet of aging and obsolete Soviet and Chinese aircraft. The North Korean air force is comprised of Soviet MiG fighters and some early versions of Sukhoi, hardly a match for the warplanes of the South and the U.S. 7th Air Force based in South Korea.

Military intelligence authorities in the South believe that Choe’s request for the twin-engine multirole fighters with advanced arms is related to the North’s recently created war plan. Kim approved a new operations plan in August 2012, the JoongAng Ilbo reported this week, quoting senior military officials, designed to complete a Southern invasion within a week using asymmetric capabilities including nuclear weapons. Seoul obtained the new war plan from a former senior North Korean military official who recently defected to the South.

Seoul and Washington have already shared information on the war plan and are creating a new joint deterrence strategy, another senior South Korean government official told the JoongAng Ilbo on Thursday.

"At the last Security Consultative Meeting in October last year, defense ministers of the two countries agreed to create a plan for comprehensive counter-missile operations because the North is at a final stage of completing its nuclear and missile programs and it is willing to use them," the official said. "As of now, militaries of South Korea and the United States are materializing a joint operations plan to counter the North’s new war plan."

At the latest annual meeting, Minster of National Defense Han Min-koo and U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel "reaffirmed their commitment to reinforce the alliance’s deterrence and response capabilities against North Korean missile threats through the establishment of ‘Concepts and Principles of ROK-U.S. Alliance Comprehensive Counter-missile Operations’ to detect, defend, disrupt and destroy missile threats including nuclear and biochemical warheads."

The two countries are also mulling a plan to use not only the capabilities of U.S. Forces Korea but also fighter jets, missiles and aircraft carriers of the U.S. military in Japan.
Assuming we have the will to fight when the time to fight comes...

China signals warmer ties with N. Korea
BEIJING -- China on Friday offered its clearest signal yet it was ready to work with North Korea toward warmer ties this year, vowing efforts to boost friendship and cooperation with Pyongyang. China's foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the comments in a statement, which also reconfirmed that Beijing sent a message of congratulations to North Korea on the birthday of its young leader Kim Jong-un.

"In the new year, the Chinese side will push forward its traditional friendship and cooperation with the DPRK (North Korea) in keeping with the principles of carrying on the tradition, looking to the future, developing good-neighborly and friendly relations, and enhancing cooperation," Hong said in the statement.

During a regular press briefing Thursday, Hong told reporters that China had sent the congratulatory message to North Korea but failed to comment on bilateral relations.

His comments are widely seen as stressing the principle of North Korea-China relations, which was approved by North Korea's late leader Kim Jong-il and then Chinese President Jiang Zemin in 2001. Over the past year, Chinese officials have not made comments to that effect.

Political ties between China and its only treaty ally, North Korea, remain strained, particularly after the North's third nuclear test in February 2013. In what many analysts believe was a message to North Korea, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to South Korea last year, breaking a long-standing tradition by Chinese heads of state of visiting Pyongyang before Seoul.

The congratulatory message by China on Kim's birthday also came as North Korea is trying to deepen its ties with Russia.

French prime minister declares ‘war’ on radical Islam
[NYPost]. La Belle France has declared war against Islamic terrorism and hate, Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Saturday in defiant speeches aimed at rallying his country in the aftermath of a three-day jihad spree that left 17 dead.

"We are at war -- not a war against a religion, not a war against a civilization, but to defend our values, which are universal," Valls said.

"It's a war against terrorism and radical Islamism, against everything that would break our solidarity, our liberty, our fraternity."

The French people need to stand up for freedom of speech and faith -- which in La Belle France means keeping religion separate from government, Valls said.

"Everyone must take responsibility -- politicians and citizens alike," he added.

"We cannot let pass a single one of these messages, or a single one of these acts. Our indignation must be clear, total and last longer than three days. It must be permanent.

"We need standards, values and authority. There must be a firm message about the values of the republic and secularism.

"Journalists were killed because they defended freedom. Policemen were killed because they were protecting you," he said.

"Jews were killed because they were Jewish."

Malek Merabet said his brother had been "very proud of being a policeman and defending the values of the Republic".

He added he had been "killed by people who pretend to be Moslems".

Ahmed's partner Morgane said she had seen TV reports of the attack without recognising him as the police officer shown lying on the ground.

Both spoke at a news conference on Saturday.

Malek said Ahmed had helped look after his mother and other family members since their father's death 20 years ago.

"Our family is devastated by this act of barbarity, and shares the pain of the families of all the victims," he said.

#11  Muslims in Europe fear anti-Islamic mood will intensify after Paris attacks

Well, I certainly would hope so.

And if the Muslims want to do something about it, they had better root out the snakes in their midst. Otherwise, we will learn that they are all snakes, to some significant degree.

Only the Muslims can solve this problem.

Poll Shows Majority of Germans See Islam as Threat
[AnNahar]. A large and growing majority of Germans believe Islam does not belong in the Western world and more than half see it as a threat, a poll published Thursday showed.
Buncha racists. They should shuddup and listen to their betters.
In a survey conducted in November, before Wednesday's massacre by Islamist gunnies at a French satirical paper or widespread media coverage of a new German anti-migrant movement, 61 percent of non-Moslem Germans said Islam had no place in the West.

The figure was up from 52 percent in 2012, according to the study released by the Bertelsmann Foundation think tank.

More than half -- 57 percent -- said they felt threatened by Islam, four percentage points higher than in 2012.

Forty percent said they felt like "foreigners in their own country" because of the presence of Moslems.

And one in four (24 percent) said that Moslems should be barred from migrating to Germany.

About four million Moslems live in Germany, around three-quarters of them of Turkish origin, among a population of 80 million people.

"For Moslems, Germany has become home. But they are confronted with a negative image apparently shaped by a minority of radical Islamists," Bertelsmann Foundation Islam expert Yasemin El-Menouar wrote in the study's findings, which also looked at Moslem immigrants' views of Germany.

- Prejudice against Moslems -
The authors said that anti-Islam stances could be found regardless of class or education level, but that younger people and those with personal contacts with Moslems showed less prejudice.

The poll was by the TNS Emnid independent opinion research institute among 937 non-Moslem Germans.

Germany has been rocked by anti-migrant marches in the eastern city of Dresden, which began small in October but have grown in support over the last month, now attracting around 18,000 people each week.

They are organised by a right-wing populist group calling itself PEGIDA or Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident.

It issued a statement on its Facebook page saying that the killing of 12 people by Islamist gunnies at the satirical paper Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
in Gay Paree Wednesday confirmed their views.

"The Islamists, which PEGIDA has been warning about for 12 weeks, showed La Belle France that they are not capable of democracy but rather look to violence and death as an answer," it said.

"Our politicians want us to believe the opposite. Must such a tragedy happen here in Germany first???"

Chancellor Angela Merkel
...current chancellor of Germany. She was educated in East Germany when is was still run by commies, but in 1989 got involved with the growing democracy movement when the Berlin Wall fell. Merkel is sometimes referred to by Germans as Mom...
has urged Germans not to attend the marches, accusing them of stoking "hatred", and encouraged counterdemonstrators, who have managed to outnumber PEGIDA protesters in recent weeks at gatherings across the country.

Turkish Marxist group withdraws claim for Istanbul suicide bombing
[DAWN] A banned radical Turkish Marxist group has retracted its claim for a suicide kaboom in the heart of Istanbul's tourist district, saying it did not carry out the attack that killed the bomber and one policeman.
Why, if you were a Marxist-atheist pinhead, would you piss the only life you'll ever have away on politix? If you're determined to end it all, get hit by a bus walking from where you've just gotten laid to where you intend to get drunk.
Reports earlier this week suggested Tuesday's attack was carried out by a Russian woman from the Moslem Caucasus region of Dagestan
...a formerly inoffensive Caucasus republic currently bedevilled by low-level Islamic insurgency, occasional outbreaks of separatism, ethnic tensions and terrorism, primarily due to its proximity to Chechnya. There are several dozen ethnic groups, most of which speak either Caucasian, Turkic, or Iranian languages. Largest among these ethnic groups are the Avar, Dargin, Kumyk, Lezgin, and Laks. While Russers form less than five percent of the population, Russian remains the primary official language and the lingua franca...
, and not the female bomber that the far-left bully boy group initially said had executed the strike.

The attack on January 6 in Sultanahmet... was not carried out by our organization, the Marxist Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) said in a statement on its website.

We therefore withdraw our claim for the action. We apologise to our people and our supporters, it said.

Sen. Grassley Blasts Justice Dept. for Keeping Obama Executive Action Analyses Secret
“There’s absolutely no reason the Department of Justice can’t provide to the public its analyses of the President’s executive actions. The administration has proven this through selective release of some material,” Grassley said.

Grassley first made his request for disclosure a year ago after the President stated, “I’ve got a pen and a phone.” But the Justice Department cited executive branch privilege in withholding the documents.

Grassley then followed with a request for the legal analysis about the release of five high-level Taliban detainees from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for Taliban-captured U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl without the congressional notification required by law. But again, the Justice Department denied the request.

that killed 150 people, mostly school children.

Establishment of military courts to decide terrorism related cases is a part of the NAP. The JUI-F chief has opposed the national strategy to tackle terrorism, terming the 21st Constitutional Amendment as a collective suicide kaboom on democracy by parliamentary parties.

Our stance against terrorism should be understood. Terrorists have been given an escape route through this law... for instance if any terrorist shaves his beard off and takes off his turban renaming himself as Saulat Mirza or Ajmal Pahari, then terrorism would be accepted and the terrorist would not be presented in a military court, he said during a presser on Thursday only to draw severe criticism from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement

A petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court, challenging the establishment of military courts. The petition states that the contentious amendment to establish military courts in the country is against the basic structure of the Constitution.

US to help Pakistan overcome terror, security challenges: Pentagon
[DAWN] Pentagon front man Rear Admiral John Kirby on Friday said the sanctuary that some terrorist groups enjoy in Pakistain has long been an issue of concern for the United States, adding that the subject has long been a topic of discussion between the American and Pak leadership.
Lip-hand disconnect here. Check back this time next year. Betcha nothin' of substance happens.
During a press briefing at the Pentagon on Friday, Kirby added that bully boyz hiding in Pakistain and militancy in the region were common challenges facing the two countries.

He further said that it was imperative to keep in mind that the Pak people are victims of terrorism "just like the people in Gay Paree are this week".

In response to a question regarding the US helping Pakistain as well as "putting pressure" on the government on the other hand, the press secretary interjected that terrorism was a shared threat and America would continue to maintain interest in helping Pakistain overcome this threat.

"It's not about us putting pressure on the Pak government," said Kirby. "It's about the Pak government continuing to address this threat in keeping with their best interests and the interests of their people."

Kirby also mentioned that cooperation with Pakistain is persistently improving, and the US would continue to help Islamabad in dealing with this challenge.

"It's a common threat, a common challenge that we all have to continue to work on together and to look for ways to improve that cooperation," Kirby added.

FIR registered in Rawalpindi imambargah blast case
[DAWN] The FIR of Friday's kaboom at an imambargah in Rawalpindi's Chittian Hattian area was registered at the Waris Khan cop shoppe on Saturday.

A Joint Investigation Team (JIT), headed by SP Rawal Town, was also constituted to probe the incident and submit its report within 14 days.

SHO of Waris Khan cop shoppe Raja Abdul Rasheed was selected as the investigating officer in the case.

The case was registered on a complaint lodged by the custodian of the Imambargah

At least eight people were killed and 16 others maimed in the powerful blast which rattled Imambargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi in the garrison city's densely populated Chatian Hatian area.

A group of over 100 Shia devotees were celebrating a milad a function held to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) when the kaboom took place. In Shia tradition, the Holy Prophets (peace be upon him) birth anniversary is celebrated on the 17th of Rabiul Awal.

Angry locals insisted that the heinous act was a sectarian attack. This area, they said, had been the site of tensions in November 2013, when a standoff between the Taleemul Koran seminary and the Muharram procession resulted in full-blown riots in Rawalpindi.

Nine military courts set up
[DAWN] The Pakistain Army announced on Friday the establishment of the first group of nine military courts for trying civilian terror suspects.

The process of establishing military courts has been initiated. Initially, nine military courts are being established across the country, a military front man said.

Of the nine military courts, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Punjab would have three each, while Sindh and Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
would have two and one, respectively.

The ball has set rolling, Director General ISPR Maj Gen Asim Bajwa said.

These courts will start functioning soon, the front man further said without elaborating the time-frame.

According to a military source, the courts could start functioning in 7-10 days. The time is required for logistics, mobilisation and referral of cases by the federal government.

The provinces have started scrutinising terror cases, which would later be vetted by the Ministry of Interior before referring them to the Ministry of Defence for trial by military courts.

The military courts are being set up under 21st Amendment in the Constitution and through an amendment in the Army Act.

President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday accorded his assent to the legislation that allowed the setting up of military courts for a period of two years.

Both houses of the parliament had unanimously passed the legislation.

The courts are part of the National Action Plan adopted by the politicianship after the Dec 16 Beautiful Downtown Peshawar

school attack.

Religious and sectarian terrorist outfits would apparently be the focus of the new courts.

Two petitions challenging the legislation on military courts have been filed with the Supreme Court.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf...
, during his visit to Bahrain, said that military courts should have been there long ago.

The military statement suggested that more such courts would be set up subsequently.

However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
the army was tight-lipped on the composition of the panel of judges and the cities where these courts would be set up.

During the martial law in the late 70s and early 80s, there used to be two kinds of military courts summary military courts with single-judge benches, with an officer of the rank of major as the judge, and special military courts with two- to three-member benches, mostly headed by a colonel.

The system of General Field Court is different.

However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
its still not clear what system the army is planning to introduce. Its also unclear if the people convicted by these military courts will have the right to appeal outside the military justice system.

Olde Tyme Religion
Islamic Depictions of Mohammed in Full

Medieval Muslim artists often created paintings and illuminated manuscripts depicting Mohammed in full. Several examples are presented here. Other artists of the era drew Mohammed, but left his face blank so as to technically comply with a sporadically enforced Islamic ban on depicting the Prophet; these faceless images are shown in the second section of the Archive.

In 1999, Islamic art expert Wijdan Ali wrote a scholarly overview of the Muslim tradition of depicting Mohammed, which can be downloaded here in pdf format. In that essay, Ali demonstrates that the prohibition against depicting Mohammed did not arise until as late as the 16th or 17th century, despite the media's recent false claims that it has always been forbidden for Muslims to draw Mohammed. Until comparatively recently in Islamic history, it was perfectly common to show Mohammed, either in full (as revealed on this page), or with his face hidden (as shown on the next page). Even after the 17th century, up to modern times, Islamic depictions of Mohammed (especially in Shi'ite areas) continued to be produced.

On this page are many examples of full-faced Mohammed portraits produced by Muslim artists across the centuries. Attributions for each image are given where known.
