Gaetz Evisorates Durham, calls him out on his coverup

A clear moment that we all knew was coming. Durham was/is part of the whole deep state Russia gate coverup. A real AG would charge him with federal obstruction.

Which will never happen. Our nation is toast.

#1  We will be fine after some really dark days ahead. Let’s please stop calling for a special counsel for Biden, though. Just follow the impeachment path. The Durham Report snd Hunter Biden deal ought to tell us all we need to know about any DOJ lead endeavor. Biden will not be removed through the impeachment process, but it will function to twist the apparatuses of Congress, the Senate, the Judiciary and all of the Executive like Gumby. The evolution will be exceedingly ugly. Boebert and MTG are already near blows. Biden, for his part, is at 39% in the polls prior to the Hunter plea. As RFK Jr climbs the ladder, how do you think historic figure KJP will deal with the increasing pressure. Biden’s puppeteer has assembled a cast of characters that will look like a junior high troupe preparing for their opening night of Macbeth. The sound, the fury, the stupid. It will be a disaster that will lead to opportunity for a restart at factory settings.

BlackRock Recruiter Claims Senators Can Be 'Bought' For $10k, War 'Good For Business': O'Keefe
Go to site at link for video
[ZeroHedge] According to Varlay, US Senators can be 'bought' for as little as $10k.

"The senators…are f***ing cheap – you got 10 grand, you can buy a senator," he remarked.

You can take this big f*** ton of money and buy people, I work for a company called BlackRock…It’s not who is the president it’s who is controlling the wallet of the president. You could buy your candidates. First, there is the senators these guys are fuckin cheap. Got 10 grand you can buy a senator I’ll give you 500k right now It doesn’t matter who wins they’re in my pocket. -OMG

Blackrock is also apparently loving the war in Ukraine, which Varley described as "real fuckin' good for business."

Ukraine is good for business, you know that right? Russia blows up Ukraine’s grain silos and the price of wheat is going to go mad up. The Ukrainian economy is the wheat market. The price of bread goes up, this is fantastic if you’re trading. Volatility creates opportunity for profit…

According to Varley, it's "exciting when shit goes wrong."

"So what are you gonna do if you’re a trading firm? The moment that news hits, within a millisecond, you’re going to pump trades into whoever the wheat suppliers are. Into their stocks. Within an hour or two that stick goes f*cking up and then you sell and you just make, I don’t know, however many mil," he continued. "The Ukrainian economy is tied very largely to the wheat market, global wheat market, prices of bread, you know, literally everything goes up and down. This is fantastic if you’re trading.

"Volatility creates opportunity to make profit. War is real fucking good for business."

As the Post Millennial notes, Varley also described himself as a person who "decide[s] people's fates."

"Every f*cking day, I literally decide how somebody’s life is going to be shaped," he said. "I’m not actually a finance guy, I just know what happens because I’m recruiting people who do these things."

"Everyone works for somebody."

More via the PM:

Varlay said these banks run the world because "you acquire stuff. You diversify, you acquire, you keep acquiring. You spend whatever you make in acquiring more. And at a certain point, your risk level is super low. Imagine you’ve invested in 10 different industries, from food to drinks to technology. If one of them fails it doesn’t matter, you have nine others to back you up."

Varlay said that once "you own a little bit of everything… you can take this big f*ck-ton of money and then you can start to buy people."

#1  "I’m not actually a finance guy, I just know what happens because I’m recruiting people who do these things."

In other words, this is a guy with no real access trying to impress a girl by claiming he has a seat at the grownups' table. Larry Fink does not say, "Yo, Sergei, my ace recruiter, come with me to DC so you can see me hand a fat stack of cash to a Senator!"

OMG! Blackrock has a diversified investment portfolio. Who could have expected that! How devious!

#3  Reminds me of a story I heard in the late 80s or early 90s.

The Iranians weren't surprised at the fact our congressmen could be bribed. They were surprised at how cheap they were.

#4  I don’t think there is a set going price for Senators of $10k. There is a very few that I don’t think can be bought. Several are probably not available to new customers except for a premium price. You could think of them as specialist doctors that are not taking new patients. For me a better simile is a higher end call girl because there are definitely other politicians at the reverse end of the pricing spectrum. There is one guy that I have in mind that is definitely a lot lizard at the skeeziest truck stop on Earth. He seems to be jumping in a new cab to provide $20 services on a near continuing basis.
For this Black Rock scum bag $10k may be a median price, but it better be a monthly payment otherwise pricing is about to through the roof as the Biden news rolls in. $10k wouldn’t even buy a third share in a print of a Hunter Biden classic.

Biden claimed that the spy balloon incident was 'more embarrassing than it was intentional' during a Saturday press briefing
[Daily Caller] Former Trump administration official Keith Kellogg ripped President Joe Biden Wednesday over Biden’s comments on a Chinese spy balloon at a Tuesday campaign event.

Biden claimed that the spy balloon incident was "more embarrassing than it was intentional" during a Saturday press briefing, according to Fox News. He made similar comments at a Tuesday night campaign reception. (RELATED: ’A Stupid Statement’: Trump Rips Biden Over Chinese Spy Balloon Remarks)

"If he doesn’t believe Xi didn’t know the balloon was there, I have a bridge to sell him in Brooklyn," Kellogg, a former national security aide to then-Vice President Mike Pence, told "America Reports" co-host John Roberts. "Of course he knew it was there. I don’t know why he says things like that. The entire world knew the balloon was there. You could see it. I’m pretty sure they have televisions in China as well. They knew it was there."

#3  “The reason why Xi Jinping got very upset in terms of when I shot that balloon down with two boxcars full of spy equipment in it is he didn’t know it was there,” Biden said at the Tuesday event. “No, I’m serious. That’s what’s a great embarrassment for dictators, when they didn’t know what happened.”

Here we have the wannabe dictator talking about a real dictator. Kinda pathetic. The guy who should be embarrassed is the one who let it fly all the way across the country before doing anything about it.

John Durham lays out how FBI IGNORED intelligence that Hillary approved plot to tie Trump to Russia in 2016 - before going after the ex-president without any basis
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Former special counsel John Durham on Wednesday testified that the F.B.I. failed to apply the same scrutiny to allegations about the Trump and the Clinton campaigns in 2016.

Appearing before the House Judiciary Committee, he described how it ignored intelligence received by the C.I.A. that Hillary Clinton signed off on a plan to tie Donald Trump to Russia.

So although it launched an investigation into allegations that Trump was somehow colluding with Moscow, it failed to look into the Clinton claims.

Durham was giving evidence for the first time since publishing his report on the origins of the Russia investigation last month.

'As our report details. the F.B.I. was too willing to accept and use politically funded and uncorroborated opposition research, such as the Steele dossier,' he said.

How Did Biden Really Make His Millions? It's Time For A Special Counsel To Find Out
[The Federalist] Where’s the money?" That was President Joe Biden’s response when asked last week about allegations that he had "sold out the country," a response that he then clarified as a joke. It’s no joke any more though.

In the wake of a whistleblower report of a $5 million bribe allegedly accepted by then-Vice President Biden to influence policy in Ukraine, Republican lawmakers are now demanding transparency from the president regarding the substantial income he reported on his 2017 taxes.

The questions are long overdue. I first asked, "Where Is Hunter Biden’s Money?" just before the 2020 election, noting that civilian Biden had reported $9.5 million in income for fiscal year 2017 — almost twice as much as he had earned in the prior 19 years combined. A subsequent piece last year analyzed the accepted premise that this money had come from his book deal with Flatiron Books.

Adam Schiff censured by House
[CNN] The US House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff, a key lawmaker in Democrats’ congressional investigations into former President Donald Trump during his presidency.

The resolution accuses Schiff of misleading the American people while pursuing the congressional investigation into Russia and the Trump campaign as the then-chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and for actions Schiff took leading up to the former president’s first impeachment. Schiff has dismissed the allegations as “false and defamatory.”

The vote was 213-209 along party lines. Republican members of the House Ethics Committee – Michael Guest of Mississippi, Dave Joyce of Ohio, Andrew Garbarino of New York, John Rutherford of Florida and Michelle Fischbach of Minnesota – voted present. GOP Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado also voted present but he is not on the Ethics Committee.

As part of the censure procedure, Schiff stood in the well of the House floor, while House Speaker Kevin McCarthy repeatedly tried to read a brief rule about censure. Schiff was joined by his Democratic colleagues on the House floor who loudly cheered him on and repeatedly interrupted McCarthy.

The effort to censure Schiff, who is running for a US Senate seat in California, cleared a key procedural obstacle earlier Wednesday afternoon after a vote to kill the legislation failed.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Florida Republican, led the effort with a revamped measure on the House floor for his role in the Russia probe and investigating Trump after a similar measure she backed failed last week.

Luna announced Tuesday she has secured the number of votes needed to censure and refer him to the House Ethics Committee.

“I have called up my censure motion and will be bringing the vote to hold Adam Schiff accountable to the floor tomorrow,” Luna tweeted Tuesday night.

The original resolution put forward by Luna failed last week after 20 Republicans voted to table the measure and two voted “present,” but after some tweaks made by Luna in consultation with GOP Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, including axing a $16 million fine attached to the legislation, the measure has gained more support. Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican who opposed the motion last week, told CNN on Tuesday that he in favor of the new version and is assisting Luna in her whip effort.

Some House Republicans voted against last week over concern of constitutionality and fear it could spark a tit-for-tat. Several House Republicans that voted to kill the resolution last week signaled they will support the new resolution, though several GOP lawmakers admitted to CNN they are concerned that the repeated attempts are boosting his fundraising for his Senate candidacy.

On Tuesday ahead of the vote, Schiff called the move “a badge of honor” and said, “They wouldn’t be going after me if they didn’t think I was effective.”

“Now Trump is threatening to primary any Republican that doesn’t vote for it. It shows you just who is behind this whole effort to distract from Trump’s legal problems is Trump,” Schiff told CNN. “But to waste the floors time on this false and defamatory resolution is a disservice to the country.”

While serving as chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Schiff announced a sweeping investigation in February 2019 into then-President Trump’s finances and Russia.

Schiff also served as the lead House impeachment manager during Trump’s first impeachment. In that role, Schiff and the other impeachment managers detailed the House’s case for removing Trump from office at the Senate trial. The Senate ultimately voted to acquit.

#3  Inadvertently, this will gain him major CA street cred when he runs for Feinstein's Senate slot next year, to be expolited to its maximum in the shameless Schiff fashion.
Posted by: Raj || 06/22/2023 0:28 Comments || Top||

#4  It may give him credibility with the dirt bags. The process of deer tagging him, is worth it , in my opinion. For example, it is nearly impossible to mention Swalwell without the majority of Americans not immediately thinking of Fang Fang or Yum Yum. His brand is now CCP asset for Americans, who have a tendency to think in terms of keyboard shortcuts.
If Schiff becomes a Senator, his brand will remain liar without any more possibility of rehabilitation than Bill Cosby. Dems may celebrate him, but they will not be able to leverage his truthfulness or authority. He has none.
Is it enough? No. Was it worth doing? Yes. The correct answer was expulsion from Congress. This is D work, but most of Congress would have preferred the F.
Posted by: Super Hose || 06/22/2023 7:18 Comments || Top||

#5  Easy enough for MSM to ignore this story. If it's reported at all it'll be down the Memory Hole the very next day. Schiff will almost certainly be the next senator from California with endorsements from Newsom and Pelosi. The censure will be forgotten before that election takes place.
Posted by: Abu Uluque || 06/22/2023 12:53 Comments || Top||

#6  Schiff may very well be the next Senator from California ...imagine the walls of the Senate building bulging when Schiff and Chuckie Schumer are in the same room from their overblown egos! Still it needed to be done.
