Aron McKillips, 29, was arrested by the FBI after stockpiling guns and creating a homemade Ar-15 rifle with a grenade launcher

McKillips was also heard complaining in an audio recording in a Signal chart room which had several federal informants in it, that no one wanted to 'raid a government building' with him, before saying that he wanted to 'mail a feds head back to his wife'
Another informant then told investigators that McKillips attended a protest at Richland County Jail in Mansfield, Ohio, to support a prisoner who had been killed by a corrections officer.
In June McKillips attended a Black Lives Matter protest in Louisville, providing security and blocking off traffic for other protesters.
McKillips is also reportedly a member of the New Sons of Liberty (NSOL) militia group, which advocates violence in pursuit of a far-right future.

It seems curious to me that the movie The Electric Boogaloo could have inspired a militia movement. I sort of wonder if there are other militia inspired by Flash Dance, Footloose or Yentl. I am very glad that I did not select an on-line moniker like Shabadoo that might have sparked a Fed raid that would be upsetting to my chihuahua mix.

Tuesday's move was the first targeting IS-Somalia turbans who are limited to mountainous regions of Bari within Puntland, whose activities have been intensifying lately. "Many of the relevant individuals are also involved in other illegal activities, including piracy and environmental crimes, demonstrating their integration with illicit networks operating in the region," State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a separate statement.
Those designated on Tuesday include Abdirahman Mohammed Omar, whom the Treasury accused of being an ISIS-Somalia member and, as of 2020, considered the most active illicit arms importer in Puntland state in Somalia, Rooters reports.
Also designated was Isse Mohamoud Yusuf, who Treasury said is an ISIS-Somalia weapons and logistics controller in Bari in Puntland and an arms smuggler; Abdirahman Fahiye Isse Mohamud, who it said is an ISIS-Somalia emir; and Mohammed Ahmed Qahiye, who Treasury said is the head of the Amniyat, al-Shabaab's intelligence wing, among others.
Somalia has been battling with violent mostly peaceful extremism for over a decade, with both al-Shabaab and IS-Somalia seeking dominance across the country. The government has heightened the fight against the turbans while encouraging locals to take arms against the Death Eaters.

After around nine hours of waiting at the airport with the other passengers, the soldier boarded the flight again and flew to the UAE, before catching another flight back to Israel.
Iran is thought to have been unaware an Israeli soldier had landed in its territory. Channel 12 news reported that Iran may have realized an Israeli was on the plane after it took off again. It did not cite a source.
Israel is a sworn enemy of Iran, and the two countries have been engaged in a years-long shadow war. Tensions ratcheted up earlier this year following a string of high-profile incidents Tehran has blamed on Israel. Jerusalem, as is common practice, neither confirms nor denies its involvement in most of the incidents.
There have been several cases in the past where Israelis traveling over Asia have been diverted to Iran due to emergencies — though all were civilians. In all cases, the passengers departed without incident. International aviation agreements forbid a country from arresting or detaining a person in such a situation.
