[KSTP] Minneapolis is having another violent mostly peaceful and deadly weekend.
Several shootings took place between Saturday night and early Sunday morning, starting with a homicide investigation on the north side of town.
The first incident began at 9 p.m. Saturday; it was a homicide at Uptown Avenue North in Minneapolis.
Then, about 7 miles away and an hour and a half later, Minneapolis police say a person was shot in their car on Clinton Avenue South.

There was another call for a gunshot victim 20 minutes past midnight. This time, off of Portland Avenue, a male victim was shot inside his apartment after police say there was a confrontation.
About an hour after that, police say a woman was shot inside a home on Golden Valley Road.
And then at 3 a.m. on Second Avenue South, police say there was a fight in the lobby of the business involving approximately 30 people, where a woman was shot.
Just a few minutes after that incident, a man was shot on Nicollet Avenue.
And then, just before 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, police say they found a man shot near 17th Avenue South.

All of these shooting victims came despite city leaders pleading for "21 Days of Peace."
"When I heard about the 21 Days of Peace, just one day of peace is what I would like to see. Twenty-one days of peace would almost be unheard of," K.G. Wilson said.
Wilson is the grandfather of 6-year-old Aniya Allen, a little girl who was killed by a stray bullet while sitting in her mother’s car earlier this month. Wilson says he is fed up with the violence that won’t let up.
"I have seen the constant violence, constant shooting in areas and nothing has changed. And what I don't see is — I don't see people taking this warning that I have been giving since these shootings happened," Wilson said.
Some local activists say this deepens their drive to create a safer community.
"Once we get people to understand that all lives matter and we are all in this together, whether we like it or not," Philip Holmes said. "I am encouraged. I have to stay encouraged that we're going to get more community involvement."

[Daily Wire] A "Democratic socialist" member of the Denver school board is accused of sexually preying on illegal immigrants, teen anti-gun activists, and a Black Lives Matter member.
Before becoming a target of a police investigation, 22-year old elected official Tay Anderson successfully introduced a measure to remove police officers from the Denver schools.
On May 25, a parent told a Colorado House committee that there is a "sexual predator targeting [Denver Public Schools] children," the Denver Post reported. She said 62 people had come to her complaining of misconduct ranging from unwanted touching to violent rape, and that 61 of them were illegal immigrants or "Dreamers," recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The youngest was 14 years old.
Post Millennial adds:
Denver School Board director-at-large Tay Anderson, a fervent Black Lives Matter activist, is accused of molesting over 60 undocumented students, using the residency status of the children to target kids as young as 14-years-old.
The Denver Public Schools board hired outside firm Investigation Law Group. On May 18, the school board said the firm was conducting final interviews and was expected to produce its report within the next 30 days.
In an email statement sent to the Denver Post on Friday night, the Denver Public Schools Board of Education wrote: "The Board was made aware of testimony at the Colorado Capitol this week and was later informed that the accusations were against Director Tay Anderson." The Denver police are also aware, the email said.
Anderson has since called the accusations "unsubstantiated false allegations." He announced via Sunday press release that he will be stepping back from everyday board functions until the independent investigation is completed, but is "confident" the ongoing probe will prove Anderson's innocence.
I was talking about a youtube video on the last days in WW-II with my wife. My I-Phone was about 2 feet away and SIRI started asking me questions. I deactivated SIRI on the spot.
The link has the video I had just watched (not on the I-Phone)
Big Brother seems to be getting very invasive.

In the youtube movie the narrator was like one of 1,500 out of 120,000 who in a huge battle fought their way through Russian lines to US area. He just made it across the Elba to the US side and a renegade german solider shot him in the shoulder for his Iron Cross because US troops were paying $12 for them. The rest of his Panzer crew beat the renegade to death then took him to a US field hospital. SIRI started asking me questions about this when I told it to my wife.

I've had Siri off from day one. Every once in a while an update turns it back on. When I talk to me dog during our dogwalks (Sadie) Siri stops the music and asks me to repeat, letting me know its on again. Horrible system.
And Apple is currently advertising increased security. Well they can start with not turning Siri on when you don't want the thing on.
Starting to feel like a hipster and wanting an old flip-phone and iPod.

I would not have an iPhone but Google's Android operating system is probably just as bad if not worse. Somebody needs to develop a phone that runs with Linux.

Still have my flip phone; reading stuff like this does nothing to make me want to upgrade.

Blackberry killed its industry dominance doing that.. I still have a Playbook. Andoid is developed from a Linux base -- but iOS is developed from a Unix base.

^ That was my first thought too EG: Tower of Babel.
What we need, is more protective laws like HIPPA (which has it's own problems I know...) which protect people's information from Big Tech. Laws which pierce the corporate veil and can hold corporate executives personally liable - including prison time for willful violations.
I know - that has a snowball's chance in hell of getting thru... what with the line for congresscritters to service big-tech executives so long.
[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s border officials are planning to dramatically expand legal migration into Americans’ workplaces, neighborhoods, and society, according to a May 31 New York Times article.
"We want to take a broad approach toward opening up the legal avenues that have always been available but that [President Donald Trump’s officials] tried to put roadblocks upon," one senior Biden appointee told the New York Times.
The appointee, Felicia Escobar Carrillo, works for Alejandro Mayorkas, the pro-migration chief of the Department of Homeland Security. "There are significant changes that need to be made to really open up all avenues of legal immigration," she said.
But the Mayorkas plan is a direct challenge to the "tight labor market" plan endorsed by President Joe Biden in a May 28 speech.
Two reporters at the New York Times — Michael Shear and Zolan Kanno-Youngs — viewed the worker-importation plan, which is likely written using poll-tested language:
The blueprint, dated May 3 and titled "D.H.S. Plan to Restore Trust in Our Legal Immigration System," lists scores of initiatives intended to reopen the country to more immigrants, making good on the president’s promise to ensure America embraces its "character as a nation of opportunity and of welcome.
...
Divided into seven sections, the document offers detailed policy proposals that would help more foreigners move to the United States, including high-skilled workers, trafficking victims, the families of Americans living abroad, American Indians born in Canada, refugees, asylum-seekers and farm workers. Immigrants who apply online could pay less in fees or even secure a waiver in an attempt to "reduce barriers" to immigration. And regulations would be overhauled to "encourage full participation by immigrants in our civic life.
Mayorkas is already opening numerous side doors in the nation’s immigration law. Those side doors can legally admit an uncapped number of asylum seekers, deported parole recipients, teenage workers, refugees, and unreported illegal migrants.
Mayorkas has also demolished the Trump-era regulations that protect American graduates from the uncapped inflow of college-trained foreign workers favored by U.S. Fortune 500 companies. The companies are pushing legislation that would allow companies to hire foreign workers with the promise of U. S. citizenship in exchange for 10 years of low-wage, no-complaint work.

There are those of us who understood before the 2020 election what Biden meant when he said he would transform America so this is no surprise.

It is not racist to require voter ID and strict controls over who votes and how often. We need to know our elections are not rigged and corrupted. This is all-important. Maybe a little executive pressure is called for if the legislature is balky and constipated. Abbott has threatened to withhold legislator paychecks for those who didn't vote and walked out in protest.
[NYPOST] A "slimy" and "creepy" high-ranking FBI agent groped three of his female subordinates, made inappropriate sexual comments in the workplace and regularly drank on the job, according to documents obtained by The Post.
The unidentified G-man, who worked as a supervisory assistant special agent in charge, was investigated by the Department of Justice Inspector General’s Office, which substantiated three allegations of unwanted sexual touching and the illegal boozing, according to the documents, which were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Details about when and where the conduct took place were redacted, but the records show the allegations were investigated by the New York Field Office and the probe was completed on Dec. 7, 2020.
The creepy G-man allegedly targeted his junior colleagues at booze-filled after-work events at bars, as well as in the workplace, according to the docs.
In one of the incidents, the assistant special agent in charge allegedly fondled another FBI employee while they were standing with two other colleagues at an unidentified watering hole.
"Do you think I should try to sleep with her?" he allegedly asked one of his colleagues.
He then "rubbed her vagina and buttocks over her clothing with his hand on multiple occasions for a few seconds each time," the documents state.
A friend who witnessed the groping texted the victim later that night to check on her.
"You okay? I know I asked already, but we put up with a lot for the sake of not rocking the boat, so I just want to make sure," the unidentified friend wrote.
"It was gross and creepy, he was touching the same parts of me repeatedly so not by accident. But like you said, we put up with a lot so as not to rock the boat," the victim texted back.
The victim filed a criminal complaint with an unspecified law enforcement body, but federal and state prosecution of the G-man was declined, the Inspector General’s Office said. The agent denied the allegation to Sherlocks.
Another woman who worked under the assistant special agent in charge told Sherlocks he would rub her shoulders while they worked together after saying "she seemed tense."

[Conservative Treehouse] Details are starting to emerge about the suspicious alarms and opened doors at the building in Fulton County containing ballots awaiting audit. According to Newsmax corespondent Emerald Robinson Fulton County deputies left the parking lot 20 minutes before the building alarm sounded.
Additionally, the plaintiff attorney, Bob Cheely, handling the election integrity lawsuit, confirms the county security lapse is a direct violation of a court order requiring the ballots to be protected and secured at all times. Cheely will be filing two motions of contempt against the Fulton County officials for their refusal to uphold the court order requiring 24/7 security. Apparently there are also some CCTV cameras and the plaintiffs will be asking for the footage.
Oddly (perhaps not), the local police did not respond to the alarm going off. Instead it was the privately contracted security (off duty police) that responded to the alarm and discovered the open and unsecured door.

Sounds like those deputies took a cue from the guards in the jail where Epstein committed Arkancide. They might lose their jobs. They might even get a slap on the wrist. But they'll never have to work again.

[TRENDINGPOLITICS] Utah Republican Sen. Willard Mitt Romney, aka Pierre Delecto ...former governor of Massachussetts, the Publican nominee for president in 2012, now Senator from Utah. He is the son of the former governor of Michigan, George Romney, who himself ran for president after saving American Motors from failure, though not permanently. Romney has a record as a successful businessman, heading Bain Capital, and he rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from the midst of bribery and mismanagement scandals. He is currently a trans Republican and a member in good standing of the Never Trump Party, attempting to assume the mantle of the late John McCain... has found a way to disappoint conservatives — again.
A new report from a local news outlet reveals that Romney tried to emotionally blackmail Republican politicians into supporting Democrats’ insanely partisan January 6th investigation commission.
Romney "emotional blackmailed" Republican politicians in a publicity stunt by meeting with a widow of a now-dead security guard who used to work at the U.S. Capitol when the January 6th protest happened.
Then, Romney exploited the mother and used what she said to "convince" Republicans to support the highly partisan commission.
Romney had a meeting with the widow of Brain Sicknick, who served as a security guard who died just weeks after working during the January 6th Capitol protests.

....Good thing for us he's not a Republican.
In all honesty, I really think that the only reason he hasn't switched parties is that the Good people Of Utah would toss him out on his a$$ the first chance they got.

I'm pretty sure if a Conservative Mormon was in the primaries Romney would lose. I'm not sure what would happen if a non-Mormon goes up against him in Utah.
[Daily Signal via InstaPundit] This capital city has become the fifth and last of Wisconsin’s so-called WI-5 cities to face a formal complaint alleging violations of election law in the November presidential contest in which Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump.
Saying they are concerned about liberal groups entrenched in administration of Wisconsin elections, a crowd of about nearly 140 turned out for a "Standing Up for Voter Integrity" rally at the State Capitol.
The sponsor of the rally, the Wisconsin Voter Alliance, has led legal challenges to the third-party groups accused of infiltrating the elections in Madison and the Badger State’s four other largest, most heavily Democrat cities.
"As I talk to citizens around Wisconsin, there still are a lot of questions about CTCL [the Center for Tech and Civic Life] and their involvement in the 2020 election," state Rep. Janel Brandtjen, R-Menomonee Falls, said. "The lack of oversight of these [outside] groups should concern everyone in the state of Wisconsin as we work toward transparent elections."
"CTCL and the other 12 nonprofits in Wisconsin cast a shadow of doubt over voting integrity for all elections moving forward," Brandtjen said.
Few red flags appear more concerning to her and other observers than the Chicago-based Center for Tech and Civic Life’s network of liberal voting activists, who, according to emails obtained by Wisconsin Spotlight, became deeply involved in administering the November election in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Kenosha, and Racine.
