#1 It is not racist to require voter ID and strict controls over who votes and how often. We need to know our elections are not rigged and corrupted. This is all-important. Maybe a little executive pressure is called for if the legislature is balky and constipated. Abbott has threatened to withhold legislator paychecks for those who didn't vote and walked out in protest.

In fact, the implication that blacks are somehow unable to figure out how to get a voter ID is about as racist as it gets.
