| #2 It is not racist to require voter ID and strict controls over who votes and how often. In fact, the implication that blacks are somehow unable to figure out how to get a voter ID is about as racist as it gets. |

| #1 It is not racist to require voter ID and strict controls over who votes and how often. We need to know our elections are not rigged and corrupted. This is all-important. Maybe a little executive pressure is called for if the legislature is balky and constipated. Abbott has threatened to withhold legislator paychecks for those who didn't vote and walked out in protest. |
