[FoxNews] Jaime Osuna, a self-described Satanist, was wearing a necklace made of the dead man's body parts when guards found him, a report says.
He was moved to a psychiatric prison after Romero's murder and diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, borderline personality disorder and schizophrenia, according to the Times. He has been ruled incompetent to stand trial for the alleged murder.
This is the tale of two gang members who briefly were in one prison cell. Both were in prison for murder — both, as it turned out, for life. Jaime hung a sheet up so guards making rounds wouldn’t see what he was doing behind the bars to Luis Romero with his homemade knife. Possibly the guards didn’t notice, possibly they didn’t make rounds. The investigation was so poorly done that there is no record of what happened while Jaime got on with his grisly work back in 2019.

It’s much too late to pay in advance, Dron, and not nearly enough funding to accomplish anything, including for the communities in question to hire guards to patrol the streets.
[NYPOST] The suspect accused of snatching a sleeping Dallas boy who was later found dead allegedly tried to kidnap another child just months earlier — but the girl’s grandfather decided not to press charges at the time, authorities said.
Darriynn Brown, 18, who is charged with kidnapping 4-year-old Cash Gernon earlier this month, is facing counts of burglary of a habitation and injury to an elderly person in the Feb. 8 incident, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by KTVT.
Brown is accused of barging into a man’s home months before Cash was found dead, prompting a homeowner to grab a knife and demand he leave, the affidavit states.
The unidentified man managed to get Brown out, but the teen returned and started kicking a door between the home and its garage, forcing the homeowner to open the door — and Brown allegedly punched him in the head, according to the affidavit.
Brown then allegedly walked into a living room and grabbed the man’s 2-year-old granddaughter as she slept. The teen started to walk away with the toddler, but the man was able rip the child from his grasp, the affidavit states.
The girl’s grandfather told cops the girl was "startled and began crying when she awoke to Brown holding her," according to the report.
The homeowner did not want to press charges at the time, and saw Brown weeks later at a Walmart — where the teen apologized for what happened, the station reported.
"He was sorry for breaking into the house and trying to take his grandchild," the man told police.
[Free Beacon] Troubled by an influx of critical race theory into the military, a coalition of veterans and congressional Republicans are demanding the Pentagon stop placating left-wing activists and focus on national defense.
A July 2020 film by the United States Air Force Academy football team endorsing Black Lives Matter and "antiracism" education prompted retired Lt. Gen. Rod Bishop to speak out against the school’s administrators. Military academies, the 34-year Air Force veteran said, should remain politically neutral, particularly at a time when Black Lives Matter protests have led to riots and violence throughout major cities across the country.
"Rather than e pluribus unum, rather than teamwork, rather than cohesion, we're being taught an ideology which seeks to divide us based on the color of our skin," Bishop told the Washington Free Beacon. "I've flown into combat zones. It didn’t matter if my copilot was black or not. How are we better for teaching all the elements of critical race theory?"
Bishop's complaints were ignored by academy leadership. They heard similar stories from veterans at other schools and bases. Cadets spoke about running into books by Malcolm X and other radicals in a new "Diversity and Inclusion Reading Room" at the school, which did not return a request for comment. That experience led Bishop and Scott to start an advocacy group called Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services. In under a year, STARRS boasts a membership into the hundreds, including dozens of officers and retired military officials.
"There’s a culture of fear within the military now," Bishop said. "On the one hand, it’s okay to cheer on Black Lives Matter [on a military base], but if you speak out against this Marxist ideology you’ll be relieved of your duties. Ask yourself, ’Is this what China and Russia are concerned about?'"
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Cynthia Nixon, who is being paid $10million for the Sex and the City revival, said CVS should allow people to steal by not locking up 'basic items'
She claimed her local CVS in SoHo, near her $3million home, had 'started locking up laundry detergent'
CVS, Walgreens and Duane Reade have been locking up items in stores for years
In NYC, the crime rate is soaring amid a series of police reforms and cuts
Cynthia was slammed by critics who asked how often she bought laundry detergent
Nixon lives in a $3.2million apartment with her wife Christine and their three children.
Before launching her failed campaign to become Governor of New York in 2018, she made her name as Miranda on the HBO series Sex and the City.
She is due to appear in a reboot of the show soon.
Her gubernatorial campaign was highly progressive and included policies like legalizing marijuana and prison reform.
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] To tap the sentimental feelings of those who fell for the JFK Camelot nonsense. I don't recall Ms Kennedy setting the world on fire as an ambassadress the last time, but perhaps she learnt something from the experience...
Caroline Kennedy served as ambassador to Japan under Barack Obama from 2013 to 2017 ...getting the old band back together again... Sobered up, did she?
The political family scion has spent much of her life in New York City
She was briefly under consideration to fill the New York Senate seat vacated by Hilary Clinton in 2009
Kennedy has endorsed a number of Democratic presidential candidates over the years starting with Al Gore in 2000
She is the only surviving member of the slain president's direct family
Ah - so you're familiar with the Kennedy name. The only good thing about the Camelot nonsense is that it's coming to an end. Joe Kennedy III lost his last election; the first time a Kennedy ever lost a race in Mass. (he ran against Ed Markey, one of the dimmest and unaccomplished pols ever to grace the stage, for one of MA's Senate seats this past 2020 election.)
You have to be both dim and ineffective to not beat a pompous jackass like Ed Markey. The Kennedy name simply isn't cutting it anymore.

I was in Yellowstone last Wednesday. Already crowded, even tho the Visitor's Centers don't open until after Memorial Day. People anxious to get out and about, I guess. Minor stupidity was evident.

No worries, Plugs has directed that the discovery effort be 're-doubled.' Robert Durham may actually undertake the task as an additional duty. The answers will soon be forthcoming. You'll see !
They knew from the start this came from the Wuhan lab.
They covered it up because a crisis launched by a hostile foreign country's government -- even if due to incompetence and sloppiness rather than intent -- would benefit the current president.
Who was Trump, of course.
Knowledge that China created this in the lab would have created a rally-round-the-flag effect for Trump.
And they couldn't have that.
So they lied.
They "fortified" an election. With lies.
And media and social media defamed and censored anyone who tried to tell the truth.
Eleanor Bartow for The Daily Caller:
The wife of a Wuhan lab researcher working on coronaviruses died of what appeared to be COVID-19 in December 2019, the leader of a State Department investigation under the Trump administration told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
It would have been an early clue that the virus could be transmitted among humans, yet Chinese authorities said that the virus was not transmissible for at least a month after they knew it was, allowing it to spread, according to David Asher, who led an investigation on COVID-19's origins and served in the State Department under Democrat and Republican presidents.
China reported in mid-January that the virus was transmissible among humans.
An individual who worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the time provided the information on the lab researchers wife dying, according to Asher.
...
The lab workers appear to have been more likely to have had COVID-19 than the flu, Asher said.
"How many normal people in their 30s-40s get so sick from influenza that they have to be hospitalized? Lab workers, I am told, are almost certainly getting flu shots.
"Moreover, what are the odds that several workers -- who happen to be the researchers on enhancing the pathogenicity of COV RaTG13 and associated COVS all fall very sick together?" Asher noted, referring to coronaviruses.
A source reminds me that he knew about this back in March 2020.
And that source said that numerous family members of Wuhan lab researchers had covid-like symptoms. Keep your eyes open for those shoes yet to drop.
And China covered it up.
And the US government covered it up, to rig an election.

[AnNahar] Cuban baseball talent Cesar Prieto abandoned his team several hours after arriving in the United States for an Olympic qualifier, sports officials in Havana said, in the latest defection to hit the communist island.
Prieto, who turned 22 this month, vanished just hours after arriving in Florida, where Cuba is to play for a spot in the Tokyo Olympic games.
Baseball is Cuba's national sport and the team is now weakened by the loss of one of its top players, an infielder and powerful hitter.
The 41-member Cuban delegation had gone through a long and complicated process to obtain visas for the United States, which maintains sanctions against Havana.
Cuba's baseball federation said in a statement that Prieto's disappearance had generated "repudiation" among his teammates, and that it had been the victim of "traffickers".
Prieto, who is likely to be courted by Major League teams, is by no means the first Cuban athlete to take flight during a sporting event.
Baseball players Aroldis Chapman, Yasiel Puig, Jose Abreu, Livan Hernandez and Jose Contreras are among the players who left Cuba. All went on to the Major Leagues and were named to All-Star teams.
In 2008, seven footballers deserted Cuba's under-23 team at a qualifying tournament in Florida in the run-up to the Beijing Olympics. Striker Maykel Galindo defected a year earlier.
Major League Baseball and the Cuban baseball federation had reached a deal in late 2018 that would have allowed Cubans to play in the United States without having to first defect, but former president Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... quickly scrapped it.
Since then, there have been several cases of Cuban players abandoning their teams in order to play in the United States.
In its statement, the Baseball Federation of Cuba said it was the "victim of the actions of merchants and traffickers favored by the decision of the government of the United States to disable the agreement aimed at normalizing the insertion of our players in the circuits of the MLB."

They 'defect' for the money - Castro banned pro baseball and banned players from legally going abroad to play, so they defect. Some even un-defect when they finish playing pro ball.

[Regnum] The visit of Alexander Lukashenko to the Russian president, which began on May 28, follows the usual route "Minsk - Sochi". As in previous visits, the official agenda includes a discussion of issues of economic cooperation.
For the third year in a row, Vladimir Putin has been discussing in Sochi the notorious "road maps" for the economic integration of Russia and Belarus in the format of the Union State. Each time Lukashenko faces insurmountable obstacles to signing these documents.
The issues of humanitarian and other aspects of union integration are still pushed into the back of the box, as if the 1999 union treaty was only about the economy. Ignoring these aspects became the cause of the Belarusian crisis in 2020 and the threat of union building. The problem persists and is purposefully chatted up. This is indicated by the appearance of such subjects as “ New Eurasia ” in Belarusian political folklore.
The Sochi talks on deepening economic integration dragged on unjustifiably, giving rise to anecdotes. Now all the conditions have been created for progress on this track. Such situations have arisen before. However, judging by the real results of the unification process, they stimulated slipping at best. The chances were not realized, after 20 years things are still there.
The Ryanair incident in Belarus complemented the triggers for unification with Russia created after the 2020 presidential campaign . Once again, favorable conditions have been created, and again there is a risk of chattering the Russian-Belarusian integration agenda, even in terms of the economic dimension.
The escalation of the conflict with the "collective West", which after May 23 every day talked about by Alexander Lukashenko, and the head of his diplomacy Vladimir Makei , and his head of government Roman Golovchenko , and other representatives of official Minsk, is the personal merit of the irreplaceable leader of the post-Soviet republic. He tries to present the story of the seizure of the founder of the influential opposition Telegram channel Nexta, Roman Protasevich, as a happy coincidence, but he does this very unconvincingly. [Aftershock] Based on the results of studying the materials received on May 26, 2021, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation made a decision to declare the activities of the following foreign non-governmental organizations undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation:
- Forum Russischsprachiger Europäer eV ("Forum of Russian-speaking Europeans", "FRE") Germany;
- Zentrum für die Liberale Moderne GmbH ("Center for Liberal Modernity", "CLS") Germany;
- Deutsch-Russischer Austausch eV ("German-Russian exchange", "NRO") Germany.
In the message of the Prosecutor General's Office it is stated that: "their activities pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and security of the Russian Federation." American soldiers stationed at military bases in Europe armed with nuclear weapons have been unknowingly sharing secret protocols and base details
Military personnel used flashcard apps to study and memorize the details of the nuclear weapon systems
They failed to realize the flashcards containing highly confidential information was available online which anyone could look up
Flashcards contained details including info helping soldiers remember which vaults within a base contained nuclear weapons and which ones were empty
By simply looking up the names of specific bases thought to contain nuclear weapons details including about passwords, security procedures were revealed
Locations of security cameras and duress signal words soldiers can use when compromised were also included
The flashcards dated back to 2013 but some were as recent as April 2021
Bellingcat then cross-referenced data from the flashcards with other reports and images shared online by soldiers themselves to verify existence of nuclear vaults
All flashcards have since been deleted after the military were asked for comment

[FoxNews] A Texas sheriff fired 11 department employees and suspended six others without pay this week in connection with the death of an inmate who was found unresponsive in his cell in February after allegedly being hit multiple times by officers.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Friday that the terminated employees "betrayed my trust and the trust of our community," in their treatment of Jaquaree Simmons, 23, who allegedly had three altercations with detention officers on Feb. 16, a three-month sheriff’s office internal investigation found.
Simmons had been booked into jail on weapons charges a week earlier, according to Houston Public Media.
On the morning of Feb. 16, Simmons clogged his toilet with his clothes and after officers went in to clean the flooded cell they returned him to his cell stripped of his clothes, a policy violation that was allegedly not reported.
"When removing an inmates clothes, you're supposed to advise a supervisor, you're supposed to increase the rate in which you conduct visual checks, and you're supposed to provide a suicide smock," Major Thomas Diaz of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said, according to Houston Public Media. "None of those occurred."
Later that night, a detention officer allegedly hit Simmons in the face after he threw his meal tray at the officer and charged at him, according to authorities. When more officers were called in to take him for a medical evaluation, they hit him multiple times in the head, Diaz, who led the internal affairs investigation, said.
Simmons told a jail doctor he didn’t have any pain, just cuts to his face, and was returned to his cell. Officers failed to bring him back to the clinic for follow-up X-rays, Diaz said and he was found unresponsive in his cell at noon on Feb. 17. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
President Biden nominated Gonzalez last month to head U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
[Breitbart] Chinese youth have become “addicted” to learning about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) history through smartphone app games promoted by the Chinese government, the state mouthpiece Global Times claimed Thursday.
China will mark the 100th anniversary of the CCP’s founding on July 1, 2021. Chinese government officials have encouraged the nation’s younger generations to engage with the anniversary by learning more about the Communist Party’s history through interactive events and activities, such as the video game the Global Times promoted Thursday.

[Sandboxx] A special operations team inserted into Laos for a covert operation.
The men of ST Idaho, two Americans and four South Vietnamese indigenous troops, were tasked with locating enemy forces and activity in the A Shau Valley, close to the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The Tet Offensive earlier that year had caught U.S. forces by surprise, and commanders were constantly anxious to know the location of large enemy formations and their intentions.
A snake-like tunnel and trail system that passed through nominally neutral Cambodia and Laos, the Ho Chi Minh Trail furnished North Vietnamese troops and Vietcong guerillas with materiel and supplies as they took the war to the South. The Trail was also ideal to move divisions of troops closer to the targets.
ST Idaho was comprised of One-Zero, or team leader, Glen Oliver Lane, One-One, or assistant team leader Robert Duval Owen, and four skilled South Vietnamese indigenous troops.
The highly experienced ST Idaho inserted on the morning hours of May 20, 1968. They sent the standard "Team Okay," over the net. That was the last time anyone heard or saw them.
