MOOC "Conspiracy and history rewriting", lesson 1. By the Chinese Embassy in France
the First question, how many cases of COVID-19 were there among the 20,000 deaths from the flu that started last September? Didn't the United States try to hide the flu from the new coronavirus pneumonia? (2/4)
[Breitbart] U.S. stock futures smashed into "limit down" trading curbs in their first hour of trading Sunday night after Democrat pushed back against economic rescue measures on Capitol Hill.
Futures contracts on the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 fell by 5 percent, triggering downside limits that prevent the contracts from trading 5 percent below the prior close. The limits are intended to prevent panicked sell-off and ensure orderly markets but they can obscure market signals by concealing selling pressure until the opening at 9:30 a.m.
The Nasdaq was down by almost 5 percent.
Traders appeared to be reacting to developments in Washington, D.C. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat, said Sunday afternoon that she rejected the idea of working on the plan in the U.S. Senate supported by Republicans and the White House. She said she would instead move forward with her own economic package.
The Senate on Sunday night failed to advance its economic rescue bill, with lawmakers voting 47 to 47 on a procedural vote that required 60 votes to move the bill forward. Five Senators were not present to cast votes because they are self-quarantined due to coronavirus concerns.
Democrats have accused Republicans of rushing the process.

Democrats have accused Republicans of rushing the process.
...And Nancy Pelosi said "We have to pass the bill before you can see what's in it", but that is different because -- shut up.
#7
Five Senators were not present to cast votes because they are self-quarantined due to coronavirus concerns.
That number is going to go up, making it less likely to get 60 votes for anything. How many Dems in the House are sick or quarantined or tested positive?

^Goody. I know I'm happy that Knesset has shutdown. And, therefore, I'm happy for you.

VERY reluctantly agree with g(r)omgoru's #6. If the Democratic leadership is going to show such truly callous heartlessness towards suffering Americans, it is time for the President (and maybe the Secretary of the Treasury) to act. And get Congressional approval later.

[BREITBART] Sunday on MSNBC’s "AM Joy," Washington Post opinion writer Jennifer Rubin argued President Donald Trump ...the Nailer of NAFTA... did not understand the coronavirus ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic. Therefore, she insisted news hounds should stop asking him questions.
Rubin said, "I think there’s several things going on. First of all, Donald Trump treats this like an immigration problem. His first impulse is to block out the rest of the world, to blame others. He doesn’t seem to understand the problem we have is community spread. It’s already here. The problem is, he did nothing."
She continued, "So, I think his effort to either whip up prejudice or toss the blame someplace else really is this pathetic need for reaffirmation and to have an enemy to blame." What a hateful deranged shrew
She added, "I will say one thing ‐ if they are going to broadcast these things, no news hound should ask Donald Trump a question. He’s going to talk, but they should direct all questions to the experts. He may butt in, but they should come back to those experts again and again. I thought that was one of the most effective displays when Dr. Fauci did jump in saying, ’Hey, this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It is dangerous, stop.’ So, I think part of it is, if they’re going to do it, stop asking him questions. And I do think we’re getting to the point where there are other ways in which we can communicate this information. Governors are reliable sources. The scientists are reliable sources, newsprint and online can directly quote from Dr. Fauci, as they are doing. We don’t need to inform the public by going to Donald Trump. That’s counterproductive."

First of all, Donald Trump treats this like an immigration problem. His first impulse is to block out the rest of the world
Rubin once again demonstrates she doesn't understand anything. Yes, it's "already here". In limited amounts. Opening the borders would increase the number of sources -- keeping people out slows the spread inside our borders.
And I honestly wish Rubin would be ignored. She's a far-left Democrat playing the role of "dissenting conservative". She's a lying w***e.

I think there’s several things going on.
I will admit that I've been known to use the singular form of the verb to be with plural nouns. But I don't write for the Washington Post. If I was doing this for a living I'd be ashamed of a mistake like that. I wonder if she even knows that it's a mistake.
Maybe slightly off topic but I couldn't help but notice.

[BREITBART] Never Trump stalwart, Iraq War advocate, and CNN analyst Max Boot has written an op-ed in in the Washington Post in which he claims that the coronavirus ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... outbreak would not have been as bad if Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... had won the 2016 presidential election.
"We couldn’t have avoided the coronavirus, but we could have ameliorated its effects," he argues.
Boot, a tool military historian, calls coronavirus "the most foreseeable disaster in history" ‐ though he did not tweet about it until February, particularly after it came up in the Democrat debate Feb. 25 in South Carolina. (His only tweet about "coronavirus" prior to Feb. 26 references a report by an eighth grader.)
In his op-ed, Boot claims that "Trump wasn’t paying attention" to intelligence reports. He fails to mention the travel ban on China that Trump imposed Jan. 31. (Boot has also mocked Trump’s travel ban on Europe, which was recommended and endorsed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the infectious disease expert on the president’s coronavirus team.)
[BREITBART] House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. Establishment Dims are at war with everyone. In that war, American casualties are acceptable to them. That is why the current establishment must be destroyed and that is why the American people elected a President that was not and never was a politician. Something the politicians cannot get over.

it’s not clear how Pelosi’s plan would work
Seems pretty clear to me. It'll be the republicans' plan with a few cosmetic additions - they'll accept it. And then it'll be Democratic Plan that "saved the Nation".
#5
Ironic, isn't it? The POTUS moved too slowly, now the Dems want to move even more slowly.

The Democratic Plan™ will have all of the money laundered through Democratic proxies and allies. Think of it as a reward for contributions to the DNC and it makes sense, nauseating but logical.

They have now realized Trump will be re-elected and they need to provoke a response, any response, hoping he provides something the media can work with. But instead they are just extending his coattails.
#8
Trump should do what they wanted, declare martial law, then hang all the people holding these bills up in front of Congress. Leave the bodies to rot as an example of the price.
#10
He can move money under the war powers act and do what he wants anyway. He is letting it play out this week so the dems show Americans how partisan they are.
One not on the cash distribution I hope they fix. Most seniors on SS don't file taxes. They will probably get missed and political hay will ensue!

It's totally believable that they would do this.
They've never paid a price for it, after all.
And the That-Is-Not-Who-We-Areites will always be there to run interference for them if the rubes and normies get restive.

She also wants to have national wide ballot harvesting, where party agents collect ballots and bring them, the way they destroyed the Repubs in California. I'll even agree to it, if EVERY BALLOT is then verified and paired with the person who marked it and they are eligible. If not, the agent who 'harvested' it will immediately be executed and all the ballots they harvested are burned.
[FOXBUSINESS] Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Senate leaders were still talking about "issues where there is disagreement" on the $1 trillion-plus coronavirus ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... economic package as a self-imposed Monday deadline approaches.
The politicians met Sunday morning to discuss the package before a procedural vote expected at 6 p.m. ET. McConnell said the procedural vote will still happen but the shell of the bill will have to be filled out by Monday.
With a population on edge, societal norms rewritten and financial markets shellshocked, all sides were hoping for an agreement that would provide some relief against the pandemic's twin health and economic crises, now believed likely to stretch for several months.
The Democratic leaders exiting the hour-long session at the otherwise empty Capitol said there was no deal yet.
"We're continuing to talk," said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 44.29471 years. Senate minority leader as of 2017... , while House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... said Democrats would be putting forward their own draft bill.
[BREITBART] Sunday on NBC’s "Meet the Press," New York Mayor Bill de Blasio ...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly. New Yorkers voted for him, so they deserve him... accused President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... of not lifting "a finger to help" with the coronavirus ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... breakout.
De Blasio said, "The truth is, and New Yorkers and all Americans deserve the truth, it’s only getting worse. April and May are going to be a lot worse. Right now, we are a third of the cases in the country. That’s going to get worse. We’re about two thirds or more of the cases in New York State. That’s going to get worse. But the president of the United States is from New York City, and he will not lift a finger to help his hometown. And I don’t get it. I don’t get it. Right now, I have asked repeatedly for the military to be mobilized for the Defense Production Act to be used to its fullest to get things like ventilators so people who can live who would die otherwise, I can’t be blunt enough. If the president doesn’t act, people will die who could have lived otherwise.”

In the type of top-down authoritarian government he wishes for Trump would be announcing that "Comrade Mayor De Blasio has resigned for 'health reasons' and is currently living alone on a desert island..."
[FLORIDIANPRESS] Andrew Gillum’s lawyers have now confirmed that it was him who was lying on the tile floor and apparently "under the influence of an unknown substance" during an apparent overdose at the Mondrian Hotel on Miami Beach," as we posted here.
According to Alex Spiros, an attorney at Quinn, Emanuel, Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP in New York City, in a cease and desist letter our news outlet received from his firm regarding the overdose incident at the Mondrian Hotel on Miami Beach that involved Gillum, our story was a "violation of Mr. Gillum’s privacy rights" and was "merely an appeal to prurient interests, and serves no legitimate news-related purpose."
Spiros confirmed it was Gillum by failing to deny the accuracy of the identification as well as acknowledging his client is in rehab for substance abuse problems.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
