[NYPOST] Sen. Ted Cruz is quarantining himself after coming into contact 10 days ago with an attendee of the Conservative Political Action Committee conference who was later diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Cruz said in a Sunday statement he learned of the interaction with the since-infected man last night, but emphasized that he’s not experiencing symptoms and feels "fine and healthy."
The Republican senator said his contact with the CPAC attendee was limited to "brief conversation and a handshake" at the Maryland event last month.
Health officials advised Cruz "that the odds of transmission from the other individual to me were extremely low" and his "brief interaction with the individual does not meet the CDC criteria for self-quarantine."

So, if you pass through the quarantine period (how many days is that? So many different answers) without presenting symptoms, you can come out and try to get sent back to quarantine after your next suspect encounter?

[REDSTATE] During a presser on Thursday, the New York Police Department reported that "major crime is up 22.5% this February over a year ago." And they "attribute the spike to the bail reform pushed through the state Legislature in Albany last year, which is releasing people who have been arrested for one crime to go out and commit another." The NYPD told news hounds:
In the first 58 days of 2020, 482 individuals who had already been arrested for committing a serious (felony) crime such as robbery or burglary were rearrested for committing an additional 846 crimes. Thirty-five percent, or 299, were for arrests in the seven major crime categories‐murder, rape, robbery, felony assault, burglary, grand larceny and grand larceny auto‐that is nearly triple the amount of those crimes committed in the same 58 days in 2019.
Police Commissioner Dermot Shea told the group, "Each number represents a victim."
Even de Blasio admits it. He said, "There’s a direct correlation to a change in the law, and we need to address it, and we will address it." He added that he was "absolutely confident it would be addressed in Albany in the budget due April 1."
The problem with the law is it "deprives judges of the discretion to keep behind bars criminals who remain a menace to the community."
The Wall Street Journal addressed this law in an editorial:
Some on the political left, including a coalition of public defenders, claim the cops are deliberately manipulating the figures as "scare tactics." Ditto for Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, who is blaming the New York Post, which refuses to take dictation from the city’s progressive powers. Mayor de Blasio is having none of it. "They’re wrong," he says.
Polls show support for the bail reform dropping fast, and New York’s chief judge says it is the only state in which judges do not have the ability to consider whether a defendant poses a credible risk of danger before releasing him. There is a simple fix that would take care of the biggest problem: Give judges the ability to weigh this risk before letting people out. If Albany doesn’t fix this, we hope the voters run them all out office.

The misguided law is a perk for committing crime.
[Free Beacon] Bernie Sanders's new senior adviser circulated cartoons blaming America for 9/11 on social media and has equated Zionism to racism.
On Saturday, the Sanders campaign added self-proclaimed "militant" Phillip Agnew to the payroll as a senior adviser, as the Vermont senator attempts to close the race gap that has propelled former vice president Joe Biden to primary victories in a number of southern states. Sanders called Agnew, who is black, a "gifted organizer" in a release.
"I am excited to welcome Phillip to our team," Sanders said of Agnew, who also goes by the name Umi Selah. "He is a gifted organizer and one of his generation's most critical voices on issues of race and inequity. He has and will continue to push me and this movement to deliver on what is owed to Black people who have yet to experience reciprocity in this country."
A Washington Free Beacon report in January exposed a series of social media posts in which Agnew appears to argue that the U.S. government was behind the September 11 terrorist attacks. Agnew tweeted on the eve of the attacks' ninth anniversary that "Tomorrow America remembers the day that she turned on herself, dismantled her constitution, and killed her own citizens in the name of money." Agnew also shared a cartoon suggesting that American foreign policy caused the attacks in a 2016 Instagram post with the caption "#neverforget what goes round come round." Emphasis added in para three.

Note from a former colleague, historian, and author:
The Bernie Bros are rhyming history. It was over a hundred years ago after Lenin seized power in Russia in the Bolshevik Revolution. He demobilized the older classes of soldiers in the Russian Army leaving only the younger classes. The young soldiers were ignorant and enthusiastic in inverse proportion to their maturity and wisdom (remind anyone of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?). He manipulated them into destroying their own civilization. Bernie Sanders is today appealing to that same enthusiastic ignorance in the young, no doubt, to the same end.
[BREITBART] Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday praised President Trump for his handling of the novel coronavirus, particularly with the issue of the virus present on the Grand Princess cruise ship that has been hovering off California’s coast, telling news hounds that "every single thing he [Trump] said, they followed through on."
Newsom, during the presser, gave an update on the status of the Trump administration’s response to the Grand Princess cruise ship set to dock in Oakland, California, on Monday. Twenty-one people aboard the ship have tested positive for the virus.
"Over the past couple of days, President Trump has said that he would prefer if none of the passengers aboard these cruises landed on U.S. soil. Did he mention any of that to you in your conversation?" a news hound asked Newsom.
Newsom confirmed that he had a private conversation with the president, who told him, "We’re gonna do the right thing," and, "You have my support, all of our support, logistically and otherwise."
The governor added that Trump said, during their conversation, "everything that I could have hoped for."
"And we had a very long conversation, and every single thing he said, they followed through on," he continued.
“Civilization as we know it is at stake,” said Nancy Pelosi just now, referring to the presidential election at Northeastern University. pic.twitter.com/rqag01IX69
Funny thing, that. My wife and I were just this morning discussing whatever happened to civilization as we knew it. It was people like Nan who destroyed it.

If civilization was so very important she perhaps would not have spent her entire public life mainstreaming, championing, celebrating and demanding obeasance to every form of social degeneracy known to that very same civilization.
[BREITBART] In a Monday appearance on CBS’s "This Morning," Sen. Cory Spartacus Booker U.S. Senator-for-Life from Noo Joisey, formerly the mayor of Newark. Booker is a candidate for president in 2020, running on a platform of Make America Newark. He once wrote an essay on how to grope babes. He is noted for having an imaginary friend named T-Bone... (D-NJ), a former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, announced his endorsement of former Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Failed seeker of the Democratic presidential nomination on multiple occasions, vice president under Barack Obama, giving it a last try in his dotage for 2020... Booker said it is "very clear" to him Biden is "the right person" to beat President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... and "bring honor" back to the White House.
"It’s time for us to beat Donald Trump and it became very clear to me that Joe Biden is the right person to do that," Booker outlined. "We have to unify and show our strength, and I think this Tuesday could be a pivotal day in our primary progress, but it’s about time we start unifying as a party and begin the work to beat Donald Trump."
When asked about his phrasing of backing Biden to beat Trump, Booker said that despite being critical of Biden’s past decisions, he loves the former vice president. "But in a manly way, as I am Fiercely Heterosexual™"
"First of all, I love Joe Biden. We’ve had a great relationship for a long time," he explained. "I wouldn’t have run against him if I didn’t think I would be the best President of the United States, but I’m out of the race. I know factually from talking to him that some of my biggest issues like criminal justice reform, like racial justice, like economic justice, that he is going to be a strong leader on that and can actually pull the country together. The kind of coalitions we need to actually make progress in those areas. I’m enthusiastic about this decision. I’m determined to beat Donald Trump. I know he is a leader, not just to beat Donald Trump, but to bring honor back to that office."

Watch them hide him from all unscripted public events using the Coronavirus as cover to keep his dementia from being on view. His administration would be run by the ValJar Obama cabal, with Slow Joe as figurehead and after a few months of his basking in the glow they trot out the 25th Amendment and poof, we get their real choice for the return of the Deep State forever. My greatest fear isn’t Pete, or Amy, or even Kampala, it’s the brokering that produces the Wookie as #2, promising the return of the entire legion of Obama’s wrecking crew.
[NYPOST] Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Failed seeker of the Democratic presidential nomination on multiple occasions, vice president under Barack Obama, giving it a last try in his dotage for 2020... is sitting on a double-digit lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders ...The only first openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords. He ran for the 2016 nomination for president, to be cheated out of it by Hillary Clinton, then went back to being a socialist, waiting for 2020 to roll around... in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a new national survey released on Monday ‐ on the eve of voters in six states going to the polls.
The CNN survey, taken after the former vice president’s romp through the Super Tuesday states last week, shows Biden has the support of 52 percent of Democrats or Democrat-leaning independents compared to Sanders’ 36 percent.
Biden’s success in winning 10 of 14 states on Super Tuesday was reflected in his favorability rating, which climbed from 39 percent in December to 48 percent.
Sanders, meanwhile, has seen his unfavorability rating jump up 8 percentage points ‐ from 44 percent in December to 52 percent.

I really do want to see the junior red guards out in the streets from the Dem convention to Election Day. The results will be glorious, just not in the way they envision.
