[Iran Press TV] The US president takes pride in his administration's having contributed the most generous cash handouts to the Israeli regime in history, despite the dire economic conditions dominating the global scene.
Speaking at the 71st General Assembly of the Union for Reform Judaism, a US representative group, at National Harbor, Maryland on Friday, Barack This is a teachable moment Obama said, "I'm proud that even in these difficult times we've fought for and secured the most funding for Israel in history," read a transcript of his speech, which appeared on Chicago Sun-Times paper.
"America's commitment and my commitment to Israel and Israel's security is unshakeable," he noted.
"I am proud to say that no US administration has done more in support of Israel's security than ours. None. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. It is a fact."
He really does always think he's the smartest man in the room. A good thing for his ego he isn't capable of noticing otherwise.
The comments came amid nationwide Occupy protests across the United States, which have been raging on since September 17 in protest at 'corporate greed' and high-level corruption in the country.
Ouch. Mental whiplash.
"We will keep standing with our Israeli friends and allies just as we've been doing when they needed us most," Obama said.
His remarks also came at a time, when the commander-in-chief could do with Israeli support in the presidential elections of 2012.
The US president was due to meet with the Israeli Minister for Military Affairs Ehud Barak on the sidelines of the Jewish community conference.
The US and Israel have each considered the other to be its most strategic ally.
Washington has invariably stonewalled the United Nations ...what started out as a a diplomatic initiative, now trying to edge its way into legislative, judicial, and executive areas... actions against Tel Aviv. It also provides Tel Aviv with nearly USD 3 billion in military aid each year.
Israel-hating F-8 follows:
The unsparing backing on the part of the United States continues in the face of Israel's occupation of the Paleostinian lands, acts of aggression against the Paleostinians, and its crippling siege on Paleostinian territory of the Gazoo Strip.

Money isn't a substitute for love, unless you come from the Chicago political scene, I guess.
Hint to Obean: The rest of the world isn't Chicago.

Can't wait for the Gingrich debate. Don't know which but somebody's head is gonna explode.

Marxists don't feel the way normal people feel about lying.
(a) Modern day leftards are as ignorant of Marx as of everything else.
(b) If they were lying (in the sense of being aware of making untrue statements) we could work some sort of modus vivendi with them. Unfortunately, they really believe everything they say.

Interesting note in the opening paragraphs of the Jerusalem Post article:
US President Barack Obama courted Jewish voters and defended his record on Israel in a fiery keynote address to the Union for Reform Judaism outside Washington, DC on Friday.
"No US administration has done more in support of Israel's security than ours. None. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. It is a fact," Obama said forcefully, his voice betraying hints of frustration at having to defend his record in the face of sharp criticism of his Israel policy.
Even in a group of liberal Jews, the president isn't getting the response he is accustomed to.

It is not a sin for a muslim to lie to an infidel.
Hence Mr. Empty Suit's insistence on wild flights of fantasy when he discusses anything he's done over the last two tedious years.
Last week the WaPo gave Baraq three "Pinocchio's" for playing fast and loose with facts...I wonder what they would say about this? Four? Five? SIX even?
Netanyahu probably spit water all over his desk when he read this...

[Washington Examiner] Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., embarked on a 24-hour hunger strike in solidarity with four Occupy DC protesters who have gone without food since Dec. 8 to advocate for D.C. voting rights.
Piker. Thirteen year old Jewish kids go 26 hours without food or water every year for Yom Kippur.
Ellison, the first Moslem to serve in the House, met with the hunger strikers Thursday and pledged to read their declaration -- which calls for full voting rights for District residents as well as legislative and budget autonomy -- on the floor of the House of Representatives to enter it into the congressional record.
The hunger strikers have been meeting with various politicians and their staffers on Capitol Hill this week. Success has been mixed. On Wednesday, strikers staged a sit-in outside House Speaker John It is not pronounced 'Boner!' Boehner's ... the occasionally weepy leader of House Republicans... office for hours, but didn't get a meeting with the Ohio Republican.

No - during dingdong season they fast only during the day - however during the night Allah is apparently too pathetic to see them so they 'pig out' and gorge themselves.

Can you really call it a hunger strike when it's 24 hours? I think I'm going on a hunger strike right after I finish lunch. I'll continue until dinner time.
D.C. Council candidate Kevin B. Chavous was arrested early Friday morning, his campaign has confirmed.
Chavous, the son of former Ward 7 Councilman Kevin P. Chavous, was arrested and charged with "soliciting prostitution," police public information officer Tisha Gant told the Washington Examiner. Chavous was arrested on K Street, Northeast near the intersection of North Capital Street at 12:06 this morning.
Chavous spokesman Lamont Harrell told the Washington Post Chavous was arrested in a prostitution sting operation. He did not immediately return a phone call for further comment. Gant said she did not immediately have information on any other arrests made at that time and location.
In a statement, Chavous said he denies the charges and is working with an attorney.
Chavous is running against Democratic incumbent Yvette Alexander for her Ward 7 council seat.
