1) Final number of seats the Pubs gain in the US House (e.g., R+72)
2) Final number of seats the Pubs gain in the US Senate (e.g., R+8)
3) Tiebreakers --
a) who wins, Fiorina or Boxer?
b) who wins, Sielat or Frank?
c) what time (EDT) does MS-NBC start blaming the American people?
Should be fun. Vote until 7 am EDT tomorrow (we'll roll this over at midnight tonight). Winner gets bragging rights and the right to say 'Arclight' without having to buy rounds in the O Club (one time only).

I entered another pool two weeks ago betting R +60 in the House and R +10 in the Senate. I'm starting to wonder if that House number is pessimistic.
For this pool, let's try this:
- House R +78
- Senate R + 10
- Carly "Demonsheep" Fiorina beats Barbara Boxturtle
- Sean Beilat shocks the world by beating Barney Frank
- 8:35 pm, as Keith Olbermann has an on-air psychotic break
Those of you in Ohio, please be sure to vote and help rid our fair state of Ted Strickland!

My prediction is based on them not finding "extra" ballots once the counting is done.

Got no idea. I've already started drinking. The Dems are masters of "finding" new un-counted ballots.

R +67
R +10
Boxer (ugh, ugh) I say that with great disdain.
Frank (ugh, ugh) Same comment.
I'll say 10 p.m. (I don't think MSNBC ever stopped blaming the American people.)

I voted absentee 2 weeks ago but...
1. 67
2. 5
3a. Boxer
b. Fwank
c. About one second after the polls close on the East Coast cause they'll realize the Dems/Messiah got crushed.

Pubs gain 80 in the house, 8 in the senate. I'll be a contrarian and say Fiorina and Sielat barely win, with litigation to follow. (There will be "missing" ballots that turn up weeks later, but strangely enough, none of them will be from military personnel serving overseas. All will be favorable to the Dems. Just a coincidence, really.)
PMS-NBC already started the blame game, along with the other usual suspects (Puffington Ho, CNN, Slate/Salon). Will now start with the BS line about how this is really a "victory" and puts them in a great position for 2012 with a huge honkin' win for the O.
I'm just looking forward to hearing the lamentations of their "women" (Madcow, Behar, Garofalo, Olbermann). And Grayson getting defeated in the next district over.
Indiana polls close at pm EDT. Most of the State should have reported by 630pm EDT. Florida, GA, Virginia, Vermont close at 7 pm EDT. Results from those States should be coming in by 8 pm EDT.
MSNBC has already been blaming voters. They also blame Bush, Obama (for not communicating or not being aggressive enough), FoxNews, Harry Reid (for not being cute and also not scheduling a vote on cap & trade), Bill Clinton (for not supporting ObamaCare when it counted), the Senate Democrats (for taking too long to debate Obamacare), the Supreme Court (for the decision allowing more free speech in campaign funding), various cabinet officials (especially in the Treasury Dept), DrudgeReport and probably they could blame Rantburg also I suppose.

LG don't forget the FL pan handle is an hour behind so they officially aren't supposed to release anything until after those polls close at 8 edt.

I'd love if both Boxer and Frank lost. Both need booting. They are part of what's wrong with the state of the economy and the nation. However, California and Massachusetts are involved.

I have a side bet going with one of the guys in our Florida office: Rubio's margin of victory over his nearest competitor in Florida versus Portman's margin over "Landslide Lee" Fisher here in Ohio. A bottle of Scotch is riding on it.

1) 60
2) 8
3a) Boxer
3b) Frank
3c) What time does the show start? ;-P
I hope that my predictions are way too pessimistic and that the tea-nami blows away all the usual number crunching strategies - BUT I'm pegging my guess to that of Michael Barone, because I am in awe of his grasp of the data and his analytical prowess generally.
Here are some guesses by some notable conservatives over at the Washington Examiner.

This is what Drudge has based on exit polls, and we all know how reliable they are.
Arkansas: Boozman (R) over Lincoln (D)
Ohio: Portman (R) over Fisher (D)
North Dakota: Hoeven (R) over Potter (D)
Wisconsin: Johnson (R) over Feingold (D)

Well, it appears the botox is still eating away at Madame Speaker's brain...
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected numerous polls predicting a Republican landslide among House candidates and defiantly predicted tonight that Democrats will retain control of the House of Representatives.
"The early returns and overwhelming number of Democrats who are coming out we're on pace to maintain a majority in the House of Representatives," Pelosi told reporters during a photo op in Washington.

GBUSMC, dont even go there for Grayson, he's a completely contemptible doucheenema bag. At least Joe Shit the Ragman allegedly served in the military... I think JSTRM's famous everywhere in the military except the Airforce, but mainly heard of him from Squids, so he was likely a Navy guy.
Anyway glad to see his ass OUT of Congress. People with rabies should not hold office.

#42 Blondie - I'm happy to say Webster was one of the people I contributed to. Glad Grayson has been shown the door.
Even though my donation was very small ($50), I received a hand-written note from his wife thanking me. I've never heard of such a thing. I was so impressed I sent them an extra $25. (I didn't really need those books I was going to buy with that money, anyway.)
I'm starting my 2012 donation fund now. I figure at least $10/paycheck put aside (and more when I get some overtime) should add up in the next 2 years. :-D

[Washington Examiner] A defiant Gary My wife has no thumbs Condit refused to admit having a sexual relationship with slain intern Chandra Levy and denied having been involved in her 2001 murder.
Under oath in the first-degree murder trial of undocumented Democrat Ingmar Guandique on Monday, former U.S. Rep.Condit said he would not answer any questions about their relationship out of principle and respect for Levy and her family.
"I did not commit a crime, and I did not do anything wrong," Condit testified.
Condit bitterly described how he and his family had to dodge and hide from news hounds and photographers that hounded the family in the summer of 2001 after news of his relationship with the missing intern became public. Armies of news hounds had set up around his offices and his residences, including his apartment in Adams Morgan. Condit said helicopters flew around his house in Caliphornia while his daughter and her friends sunbathed and the media made it seemed like the congressman was having wild parties with young women.

"My wife has no thumbs"
I don't understand, which happens entirely too often.

Condit's wife, Carolyn Berry, has normal thumbs, btw.
I believe that "she (you) ain't got no thumbs", is a terribly obscure slang expression, though I don't know what it means, other than it is *not* "she doesn't have any thumbs up", like a rating.
The only other context for it was an angry black man screaming it at an angry white man after the two had been arguing for a while.
...4. Delaware voters: Witchcraft and other non-voting activities are not permitted in the voting booth.
5. FYI, nobody in Pennsylvania cares, Arlen. Not even while you're wearing that ladybug costume.
6. Think about Connecticut's Senate race this way: Whom would you rather send far away? The guy who lies about his military record and sues hotels for hosting cover bands, or the lady that somehow managed to make millions of dollars by hiring men to don leotards and fake wrestle one another? Exactly. This also explains how Chris Dodd was elected in the first place.
7. Miracles happen: For possibly the first time ever, people are actually paying attention to New Jersey, and it's not because of MTV's "Jersey Shore."
8. I mean it Delaware....

Joe Sestak is wishing he had taken that alleged job offer that President Obama allegedly didnt send Bill Clinton to make in order to get him out of the race. Allegedly.

Democrats have filed their first legal challenges before polls even closed on Election Day, asking for an extension of voting hours in Connecticut and questioning the denial of provisional ballots in Illinois.
Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCCC), told reporters at party headquarters that officials had gone to court in two states. In Connecticut, the party has asked for a one-hour extension of voting in Bridgeport, a Democratic stronghold where turnout was reported so high that officials ran out of ballots, Menendez said.
President Barack Obama's visit to Mumbai will cost the US a whopping $200 million per day. Around 3000 people, including government officials, Secret Service agents, and journalists, will accompany Obama. Several White House officials and US security personnel are there already with a ship, helicopters, and high quality security instuments.

Because he brings his whole "entourage".
a two way commercial flight 1st class $3029. A total trip for that long could not cost me more than $5,000.
$200 Million a day? His life's work is not worth a penny.
President Barack B.O. Obama said on Monday he should not have used the word "enemies" to describe his political opponents as Republicans sought to make an issue of the comment a day before congressional elections.
Obama, in an interview with talk radio host Michael Baisden, said, "I probably should have used the word 'opponents' instead of enemies."
He was backtracking from a comment he made a week ago in an interview with Univision radio in which he sought to persuade Hispanics to vote for Democratic candidates instead of Republicans.
"If Latinos sit out the election instead of, 'we're going to punish our enemies and we're going to reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us' -- if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it's going to be harder," Obama had said.
Republicans in hot pursuit of control of the House of Representatives in Tuesday voting were drawing attention to Obama's "enemies" comment in hopes of encouraging more turnout by Republican voters.
Hammering home the issue was John Boehner, the Republican who would oust Democrat Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi as House speaker if Republicans win control of the House on Tuesday as most pollsters believe will happen.

Terrible isn't it when people start holding you to the same standards you've stuck on others, particularly little slips of the tongue. The word was 'enemies'. You don't get to take it back than any Trunk who's stumbled upon the political stage as well.

GBUSMC, I thought 'Gunny Pop' running in the Cal 51st district against Phoney Filner was a Tea Party guy. Conservative for sure, anyway.
www.popaditchforcongress.com/index.html
I wondered about that also. Somehow he must have been left out, pencil him in. Maybe he didn't sign up because his district has a whole bunch of undocumented democrats that vote for Filner. Can't find any polls in English. Democrat Over the last few cycles, Bob Filner won by 19, 26, 27, and 48 points.
[Washington Examiner] The likely next D.C. Council chairman says he's leaving open all possibilities when drawing up blueprints for council committees and the members who'll head them -- including the high-profile education committee and Ward 8 Councilman Marion The Bitch Set Me Up Barry.
With deep cuts to agency budgets expected in the face of the District's troubled financial status, it'll be up to committee chiefs to help find the spots where cash can be saved. Kwame Brown will move carefully as council members seek to hold on to the power they have, or position themselves to win higher-profile committees.
"I'm going to look at all the possibilities," Brown told The Washington Examiner.
Brown already has said he'll give Barry a committee, but he hasn't said which one.
Current Council Chairman Vincent Gray stripped Barry of his housing committee chairmanship in March after an independent investigator determined Barry handed a city contract to his girlfriend. Since then, Barry has been absolved of any legal wrongdoing, although the Office of Campaign Finance found he acted unethically.
