Keep COVID military vaccine mandate, defense chief says
(AP) — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said he wants to keep the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place to protect the health of the troops, as Republican governors and lawmakers press to rescind it.

This past week more than 20 Republican governors sent a letter to President Joe Biden asking that the administration remove the mandate, saying it has hurt the U.S. National Guard’s ability to recruit troops. Those troops are activated by governors to respond to natural disasters or unrest.

Congress may consider legislation this coming week to end the mandate as a requirement to gather enough support to pass this years’ defense budget, which is already two months late.

Austin said he would not comment on pressure from the Hill.

"We lost a million people to this virus," Austin told reporters traveling with him Saturday. "A million people died in the United States of America. We lost hundreds in DOD. So this mandate has kept people healthy."

"I’m the guy" who ordered the military to require the vaccine, Austin added. "I support continuation of vaccinating the troops."

Last year Austin directed that all troops get the vaccine or face potential expulsion from the military; thousands of active duty forces have been discharged since then for their refusal to get the shots.

Georgia sheepdog fights off, kills 8 coyotes after pack attacks his sheep
[FOXNEWS] A Georgia sheepdog is recovering from injuries after squaring off against a pack of coyotes, killing eight of them, while protecting his herd.

Casper, a sheepdog who works on John Wierwiller's Georgia farm, fought off the more than half a dozen coyotes in a fight that lasted over half an hour, WAGA-TV reported.

Wierwiller says that Casper disappeared for two days after the brutal fight.

"We knew he was hurt because we found parts of his tail and blood and other things, so we were worried," Wierwiller said.

Casper eventually returned to the farm with visible injuries.

"He was kinda looking at me like, ’Boss, stop looking at how bad I look, just take care of me,’" Wierwiller said.

Wierwiller said it "looked like a coyote grabbed his skin and peeled it right off."

The LifeLine Animal Project, an organization with a mission to end euthanasia of healthy animals, has stepped in to help raise money for Casper's hospital bills.

The group launched a GoFundMe to cover the $15,000 hospital bill and has already exceeded its goal and will use remaining funds to help save future animal lives.

#3  The coyotes probably tried to kill this Pyrenees so that they could get to the sheep. They chose poorly.

The Great Pyrenees breed is noted for their absolute savagery while protecting their flocks (be it sheep, goats, cattle, chickens, people, whatever). They'll bark (a lot) with a huge booming voice first. If that doesn't work, they will attack. They are very big, very fast, very strong and they don't give up.

We have one. Not really a 'city dog' and she prefers the outdoors more than being inside. Everything that she sees (and sometimes beyond) is considered 'her territory for defense'. Did I say that they bark? At night? A lot?

GO TIME? Military Deploy in Brazil –
[GatewayPundit] Military vehicles have been spotted mobilizing in Brazil as President Bolsonaro met with military leaders at a ceremony to promote new generals in Brazilía Thursday. "Martial law is coming next week", says Brazil observer Matt Tyrmand. Elon Musk noted Twitter may have interfered with Brazilian elections.

"I have sources on the ground saying that the reservists are being activated right now, starting yesterday in smaller and mid-size cities," journalist Matthew Tyrmand told Steve Bannon on Dec. 2. "You can already see videos of tanks being transported to strategic points and chokeholds around the country. I think by next Wednesday or Thursday, (the Generals) are going to put a letter in front of Bolsonaro and say, sign this and activate us. We believe we have to act right now, according to the constitution, and go after these (voting) machines, arrest these judges, and then the house of cards will fall."

#5  Twitter website, 28 Sept 2022: BRAZIL Twitter created our Civic Integrity Policy to prevent our service from being used to interfere in elections or other civic acts. It’s an additional layer of protection whose purpose is to ensure that the public debate taking place on Twitter doesn’t harm people’s right or ability to vote. This extra policy is applied for a limited period of time before, during, and after an election — an interval determined by consulting with civic integrity experts.
With the Civic Integrity Policy in place in Brazil, Twitter will take measures in relation to content:Intended to intimidate people from participating in civic acts or to mislead them about how to take part in them. That makes any false or misleading statements undermining public confidence in the election That intentionally indicates false or improper affiliation, own or of third parties, to candidates, parties and other institutions.

Disabled Canadian Army veteran Paralympian blasts government for offering to EUTHANIZE her when she complained about how long it was taking to install stairlift at her home
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Christine Gauthier testified in Canadian Parliament on Thursday

  • Gauthier, a paraplegic veteran, sought help getting a wheelchair lift at home

  • A Veterans Affairs staffer instead offered medically assisted suicide, she said
To be fair, recent prices in the U.S. for a home wheelchair lift start at about $2,500 plus shipping and installation, while assisted suicide probably costs a few tens or hundreds of dollars — if the cost of time of the medical staff is included.
  • Government probe found at least four other veterans were also offered suicide

  • Trudeau called called the trend 'absolutely unacceptable' and vowed to end it
  • "No stairlifts for anyone!"
  • Euthanasia has been legal for terminally ill patients in Canada since 2016

  • But last year law expanded to include people with long-term disabilities

Government Corruption
Major Web Browsers Drop Mysterious Authentication Company After Ties To US Military Contractor Exposed
[ZERO] This week several major web browsers quickly severed ties with a mysterious software company used to certify the security of websites, three weeks after the Washington Post exposed its connections to a US military contractor, the Post reports.

BLUF:
According to TrustCor's Panamanian (!?) registration records, the company has the same slate of officers, agents and officers as Arizona-based Packet Forensics, which has sold communication interception services to the U.S. government for over a decade.
Insert Panamanian Registration flag here.
One of those contracts listed the "place of performance" as Fort Meade, Md., the home of the National Security Agency and the Pentagon’s Cyber Command.
Prime contractor and fusion site ?
The case has put a new spotlight on the obscure systems of trust and checks that allow people to rely on the internet for most purposes. Browsers typically have more than a hundred authorities approved by default, including government-owned ones and small companies, to seamlessly attest that secure websites are what they purport to be. -WaPo

Also of concern, TrustCor's small staff in Canada lists its place of operation at a UPS Store mail drop, according to company executive Rachel McPherson, who says she told their Canadian staffers to work remotely. She also acknowledged that the company has 'infrastructure' in Arizona as well.
Did someone say "mail drop" acommodation address?"
McPherson says that ownership in TrustCor was transferred to employees despite the fact that some of the same holding companies had invested in both TrustCor and Packet Forensics.
Emphasis added.

Olde Tyme Religion
Forced expulsion of daemons from Gireeva came into conflict with Islam
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Note the use of the word "genies" and "jinn" was replaced with the word "daemons."

[KavkazUzel] Islam does not provide for forced exorcism, especially with the use of force, Islamic scholar Leonid Syukiyainen and Imam Rasul Akhmadov commented on the complaint of Leyla Gireeva, a native of Ingushetia, about attempts by relatives to expel daemons from her with the help of violence.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1, it became known that Leyla Gireyeva told the police about regular violence from her parents. She asked to be protected from relatives, who, according to her, could cripple or kill her.

Gireyeva told her lawyer that her mother and father beat her when they "were in the mood", often locked her at home and forced her to take psychotropic drugs against her will, and also took her to the imam. "My parents said that they should have killed me, but since they had already spent 18 years on me, they should try to pull out the "daemons, daemons" she said.

Leyla Gireeva was subjected to domestic violence in Nazran and "the expulsion of daemons", which prompted her to run away from home on November 14, Svetlana Anokhina, a Dagestan journalist and human rights activist from the Marem organization, said earlier.

After the escape, the relatives accused Leila of theft in order to put her on the federal wanted list. The girl, in turn, wrote a statement to the Investigative Committee  about the threat of murder  by relatives.

The use of force to drive out jinn is strictly prohibited, said an expert in Islamic law, Doctor of Law Leonid Syukiyainen.

"In a categorical way, there is nothing even close to this in Islam. This is a terrible violation of human rights. This practice is inhumane. To expel a daemon from a person, one must pray, lead a righteous life, educate oneself and hope in the Almighty," the Islamic scholar told the correspondent "Caucasian Knot."

According to him, the practice of forcibly expelling daemons has nothing to do with the Koran either.

"The Qur'an does not say that it is possible to expel daemons by force. In Islam as a whole there is no such practice. Only prayers and faith in the Almighty. Everything else is an invention of the so-called healers. They have no basis from the point of view of religion for the use of such methods. I again want to point out that this is a violation of human rights," Sukiyainen explained.

The traditions of the expulsion of daemons are widespread in the Caucasus, Islamic exorcism is carried out both in mosques and at home by traditional healers, according to the "Caucasian Knot."

Imam Rasul Ahmadov confirmed that the expulsion of daemons is allowed only with the help of prayers. "To drive out the daemons, it is necessary to use only prayers and nothing but ayats . Everything else can be called witchcraft and an attempt by some people to simply work, and not help those who need it," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The use of force in the expulsion of jinn is not permissible, the theologian emphasized. "The exorcist does not resort to such methods. Nothing can be done against the will. A person must want to get rid of them and seek help. And then with the help of verses one can achieve success," he said.

The police must within three days consider the statement of Leyla Gireyeva against her parents about systematic violence, Alexandra Miroshnikova , press secretary of the SOS Crisis Group, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The police must consider applications within three days from the date of registration of the application. The term for consideration in some cases can be extended to 10, then up to 30 days," she said.

According to Gireeva's statement, a criminal case may be initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code, she noted.

"The acts described in the application fall under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (part 2) "torture" - the infliction of physical or mental suffering by systematic beatings or other violent actions against a minor, and 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 - unlawful deprivation of a person's freedom," she reported.

Gireeva's lawyer Mark Alekseev was not available for comment, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported today.

Recall that on November 23, security forces detained 18-year-old Leyla Gireeva, who was found by relatives in St. Petersburg. Leila herself called the police, but she was taken to the police station. In the evening of the same day, the security forces released her.

Leyla Gireyeva is in a safe place, but the threat of forced return to her family remains, a spokesman for the CK SOS Crisis Group said on November 24. Police officers in St. Petersburg released Leyla Gireyeva  because of the increased interest of journalists and human rights activists  in her story, human rights activists interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" said.

$100M F-35 stealth fighter CRASHED into runway as undercarriage collapses while it's being towed in Japan
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Left the brakes on?
Let us be grateful they’re debugging the things before they're needed to fight a war.
  • A $100million F-35 stealth fighter jet crashed onto the runway while being towed at the Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, on December 1, 2022, around 2pm

  • It made a precautionary landing due to possible electrical problems

  • After landing on the runway, crews began towing the aircraft when the front wheel, which can retract under the cockpit, suddenly collapsed

  • The plane slowly crashed nose-first into the runway, but it does not appear that a pilot was inside the aircraft at the time

  • It is unclear how much damage the crash caused and the US Marine Corps is investigating
    No doubt.

So secret the Air Force won't even tell us what COLOR it is! New $750m B-21 Raider is shown in different lights at its release to obscure its true color - in bid to keep its stealthy coating a secret from China and Russia
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] This would be the plywood and styrafoam model.
  • The US Air Force appear to have gone to great lengths to hide the true color of their new stealth bomber using different lighting conditions amid growing threats from Russia and China

  • Earlier reports from the historic event have described the B-21 Raider to be a 'very light gray color' which experts have said is 'critical for its low observable capabilities' as it will likely be 'used during the day'

  • Images and footage of the futuristic aircraft show it doused in blue lighting, silhouetted and dimly lit appearing to obstruct the view of the secret 'hard-to-see coating' which will infiltrate Russia and China skies

  • This is the first time since 1988 that a stealth bomber has been revealed to the public since the B-2 Spirit - while the US originally planned to have a fleet of 132 B-2s, just 21 were ultimately purchased

  • Just days ago, the Pentagon released its annual report on China, which said the country has doubled its number of nuclear warheads in a fraction of the time the US expected it to

  • Meanwhile Russia have only just come to the table to 'negotiate' ending the war in Ukraine, as long as their demands are met in their second time in two days signaling they'd be open to resuming talks with Washington

#6  Zeppelins faded away in military history. The question is whether or not the B-21 is a massive boondoggle or not -- do we need to send a RBB (Really Big Bomber) instead of drones or missiles..? Especially when we will probably build fewer bombers than we have US states so they can hardly be risked in Peer V. Peer combat.

  • Or gas..
  • Researchers asked 300 people the type of jokes they liked to give and receive

  • Puns and observational comedy topped the receiving list, surprising researchers
