[Breitbart] The federal prosecutor probing the origins of the Russia-collusion hoax has requested "emails, call logs and other documents" from John Brennan, former President Barack Obama’s CIA director turned NBC and MSNBC contributor, the New York Times reported Thursday.
Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor charged with conducting the review into the origins of the Russia collusion probe, "wants to learn what Mr. Brennan told other officials, including the former FBI director James B. Comey, about his and the C.I.A.’s views of a notorious dossier of assertions about Russia and Trump associates," the Times noted, adding:
Mr. Durham’s pursuit of Mr. Brennan’s records is certain to add to accusations that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies. The president has long attacked Mr. Brennan as part of his narrative about a so-called deep state cabal of Obama administration officials who tried to sabotage his campaign, and Mr. Trump has held out Mr. Durham’s investigation as a potential avenue for proving those claims.
Brennan is considered an ardent critic of the Trump administration.
Durham is also investigating whether Brennan "privately contradicted his public comments, including May 2017 testimony to Congress, about both the dossier and about any debate among the intelligence agencies over their conclusions on Russia’s interference," the Times learned.

Prisoner's dilemma, imaginary situation employed in game theory. One version is as follows. Two prisoners are accused of a crime. If one confesses and the other does not, the one who confesses will be released immediately and the other will spend 20 years in prison.
Yeah... that'll play well in the rust belt/battleground states. Good job Joe!
[PJMedia] You've got to give it to Democrats: they freely admit they do not care one bit about blue-collar workers. They don't. They're the party by and for leftist academics, illegal immigrants, and SJW whackjobs. Although this has been the case for at least a few decades, they've always pretended to care about John Doe. Not any longer. All pretenses are dropped.
Case in point: Joe Biden admitting during Thursday's Democratic presidential debate that he's more than willing to hang out blue-collar workers to dry in order to pursue a costly and largely useless green dream:
"Would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy," the moderator asked Biden.
Instead of beating around the bush, Biden simply admitted that "the answer is yes."

And the increased number of unemployed workers will drive down wages for the rest. And they'll have to be taxed harder to make up for the welfare shortfall.
Watch the perjury, Hoover!
[Fox Business] The mother of Hunter Biden's child says the son of former vice president and Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden is refusing to answer any questions pertaining to his "basic" lifestyle and finances as the hearing in their tumultuous paternity case approaches, court papers show.
Lunden Roberts and the younger Biden are embroiled in a bitter court battle in Arkansas surrounding their 16-month-old baby, whom Roberts has argued he should support, according to court records and multiple reports.
The Daily Mail was first to report the latest legal filings, which were submitted to the court Wednesday.
Hunter Biden, the papers allege, "has provided no support for this child for over a year. The Court should not let the defendant continue to avoid his natural and legal duty to support his child by failing to provide basic information about his income, finances, and lifestyle." *cough* Burisma *cough* China *cough*
His attorney did not immediately respond to a FOX Business request for comment.
The paternity scandal comes as DailyMailTV reports Biden's new South African wife is expecting his fifth child.

That Obama/Biden image should end with Obama saying "No Joe, you should have pulled out" or something along those lines.
The Senate is going to pull Hunter in for questioning and its gonna blow up all over the place when he disappears instead of answering. At that point Biden will be the front runner and the Dems will be in turmoil.

*Mynett left the court grinning and clapping his hands in glee
*He said he was happy with the proceedings but would not comment further
*The couple's marriage was 'a rollercoaster of highs and lows,' Mynett, who shares a 13-year-old son with Jordan, said in court papers

Will fewer women vote for the bitch now ? I wonder.

[PJ] On Thursday, the House of Representatives adjourned before voting to send the articles of impeachment to the U.S. Senate for a trial. This made House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's stall-tactic official ‐ Democrats are refusing to forward the impeachment to the Senate until they receive assurances the trial will be fair in their eyes. Yet this arguably violates the Constitution.
"Hoyer announces no more votes until January 7. Big cheer goes up in House chamber. This means the House won't approve a resolution on impeachment [managers] & to send impeachment [package] to Senate until at least January, 2020,"

So basically he's not impeached until they deliver the articles of impeachment to the Senate but most of the Dem zealots believe he's impeached so they can enjoy the Holidays before the game is undone.

Gingrich was on FoxNews this AM. One of his "Legal Expert™"friends has made the argument to him that by taking recess without acting on the impeachment, HoR has made it legally a dead deal that they would have to take up again after they return. He didn't know if that was true or not. Pretty obviously constitutional norms and rules don't matter to the Donks

Nancy knows that her bogus articles are DOA in the Senate so she's trying to keep this whole kerfuffle going as long as she can and to blame Mitch as she goes. She signaled her virtue which was all she could do anyway but now she seems to have no clue how ridiculous she looks. Even her friends in MSM are baffled.

The Articles of Impeachment had to be entered into the Congressional Record. That's a matter of public record. No need for the proforma ritual. Just use that Mitch. The Constitution charges the Senate with the trial. Make it so.
[SpaceNews] Steven Walker, the 21st director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, announced his resignation Dec. 17, a DARPA spokesman said.
Walker’s resignation is effective January 10, 2020.
Walker was appointed director of DARPA in November 2017 after serving as the deputy director of the agency from October 2012 to December 2016, and as acting director from January 2017 through October 2017.
DARPA deputy director Peter Highnam will assume the role of acting director until a permanent director is appointed. Highnam, who came to DARPA in 2018, was the former director of research at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and a former director of the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA). Prior to joining IARPA, he held senior positions in the Department of Health and Human Services and in private industry.

Revolving doors of the swamp. It may seem benign in this case, but its a bureaucratic game of musical chairs in which everyone knows the game but the rubes on the outside.

This guy seems to have been somewhat knowledgeable about what DARPA does before he came on the job.
Usually the incoming directors at the government agencies are clueless.

This one is probably no big deal. DARPA directors (like program managers) are expected to rotate out after 3-4 years. January 2020 is exactly three years after he assumed the acting director role.
