    * Ilhan Omar's campaign fundraiser strategist and lover Tim Mynett, 38, has officially divorced from his wife Beth Jordan, 55, DailyMail.com can reveal
    *The 37-year-old Democratic Congresswoman was called an adulteress by Jordan in divorce court Thursday
    *'I have a statement to make,' Jordan said in court, saying that her husband 'had an affair with Ilhan Omar' before being cut off by the judge
    *She asked for her maiden name Beth Jordan to be restored. When asked why, she replied: 'I no longer want to have Mr. Mynett's name attached to me.'
    *Mynett left the court grinning and clapping his hands in glee
    *He said he was happy with the proceedings but would not comment further
    *The couple's marriage was 'a rollercoaster of highs and lows,' Mynett, who shares a 13-year-old son with Jordan, said in court papers
    *Jordan's camp hit back, saying: 'She's not going to let Tim paint a false picture of their marriage which was happy and fulfilling before Ilhan came on the scene'
    *Omar filed for divorce from her husband in October and it was finalized a month later
