The incident happened on Saturday, October 2 and local residents say that the two others killed were the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... fighters.
Eyewitnesses say that Sadat’s son has also been critically maimed in the incidents and claim that ISIS fighters were responsible for the shooting but provincial officials have not commented on the issue yet.
As per the eyewitnesses, the shooters have boarded a Reksha taxi and started firing at people in an auto.
Sayed Maroof Sadat was a journalism graduate from Kabul University and was working as a journalist in radio "Sub Bakhair and Sham Bakhair".
He was recently assigned as media in charge of the directorate of urban development in Nangarhar province and was also working for a number of foreign media in the province.

[NY Post] I'm sure it's Ours/OrangeManBad's fault A bomb exploded Sunday at a mosque in Afghanistan’s capital, killing a "number of civilians," according to a Taliban spokesman.
The bomb targeted the entrance of Eidgah Mosque in Kabul, the site of a memorial service for the mother of Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid. He later tweeted that the attack had claimed civilian lives.
Emergency NGO, an Italian-funded hospital in Kabul, said on Twitter that it had taken in four people who were wounded by the bombing.
The area around the mosque was on Sunday cordoned off by the Taliban.
A Taliban police commander, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, said that the attack targeted the Taliban delegation, but no group had yet claimed responsibility. But other authorities said that the mosque entrance was being prepared Sunday for a slate of public executions scheduled for Monday afternoon. According to one high-ranking official, dozens of hangings are slated to take place at the blast locations for those convicted of kidnappings and murders.
It is unclear if the capital punishments will still take place Monday. Oh! I hope so!
Taliban officials were quick to usher away onlookers and claimed they do not plan to release a statement until Monday morning.

The remarks, widely picked up by Algerian media, came in a meeting earlier this week between Macron and relatives of figures from Algeria’s war of independence.
It is the second time that Algeria recalls an ambassador from La Belle France.
Algiers also recalled its ambassador in May 2020 after French media broadcast a documentary about Algeria’s pro-democracy Hirak protest movement.
Saturday’s move comes amid tense ties following a decision by Gay Paree to reduce the number of visas granted to citizens from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
The Algerian foreign ministry summoned the French ambassador on Wednesday to protest the visa ruling.
La Belle France on Tuesday said it would sharply reduce the number of visas granted to people from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, accusing the former French colonies of not doing enough to allow illegal immigrants colonists to return.
Algeria’s foreign ministry handed "a formal protest" to French ambassador Francois Gouyette.
It called the visa reduction an "unfortunate act" that caused "confusion and ambiguity as to its motivation and its scope."

There has not been yet an official reaction from Tunisia.

Azerbaijan and Turkey will hold a military exercise in Azerbaijan near the border with Iran from Tuesday to Friday, amid heightening tensions between Iran and Azerbaijan, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Sunday.
The exercise, titled "Unshakable Brotherhood," is being conducted in order to "develop friendship, cooperation and coordination between the Turkish and Azerbaijani Land Forces."

[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency conducted searches at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... at the premises of suspected Line of Control traders.
The case was registered by the NIA in 2016. The LoC trade between India and Pakistain was started in 2008 as part of a confidence building measure between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistain occupied Kashmir. The trade was based on barter system and third party origin goods were not allowed. The instant case is related to the large scale transfer of funds from Pakistain to India through the import of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Almonds (badam-giri) and other items via the Cross LoC Trade Facilitation Centres (TFCs) located at Salamabad, Uri, District Baramulla and Chakkan-Da-Bag, District Poonch. These funds were purportedly being used for fomenting terrorism / separatism in Jammu & Kashmir.
Investigation into the case revealed that some of the traders having excess imports were channelizing the surplus profit generated to terror organizations while others are suspected to have links / connections with proscribed terrorist organizations.
It was found that cross-border traders had been tapped by terror groups to help raise funds for terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Investigators were stumped to find out that terror funding continued unabated despite the decision on demonetisation wiping out the fake currency network.
The NIA has found that a food item would be imported from Pakistain at a very low price and then sold at double the amount in India. For instance, Californian almonds would be imported by the trader at Rs 350 a kilogram and then sold at Rs 700 in the Indian market. The profit Sherlocks say would be used to fund terror.
There is a select network of traders that the terror groups have tapped into to further their agenda.
These traders work under terror groups such as the Hizbul Mujahideen ...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. [GREATERKASHMIR] Security forces launched a search operation in Arin forest area in the upper reaches of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday, officials said.
According to the officials, the search operation was launched this morning jointly by units of the army, paratroopers, Special Operations Group of J&K police and CRPF folowing inputs about the presence of militants in the woods.
The militants believed to be hiding in the forest area are said to be foreign with most of their local associates having been killed in recent gunfights in Bandipora.
Six militants both locals and foreigners have been killed in three gunfights since July this year in the district.
