Megyn Kelly slams The View's Sunny Hostin for fueling racism
[Washington Examiner] Media personality Megyn Kelly blasted The View co-host Sunny Hostin for fueling racism with a call to accountability over racial divides that go back to the United States’s founding.

During The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM earlier this week, Kelly played a clip from an episode of The View that aired Monday in which Hostin contrasted the unity following 9/11 with domestic terrorism.

"The biggest threat to our country today, says the FBI’s director, is white supremacy and domestic terrorism. Merrick Garland said the biggest threat to our democracy is white supremacy and domestic terrorism," Hostin said. "How do you come together when it’s homegrown terror?"

Afghanistan
Afghanistan sees sharp rise in deaths as Taliban struggle to take on ISIS, NRF
[HindustanTimes] Afghanistan recorded 366 terrorism-linked fatalities in August, registering a sharp increase of 50 per cent from 244 in July. There were 367 deaths in June and 391 in May.

With both the principal challengers to the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
regime — the National Resistance® Front (NRF) and Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
-Khorasan Province (Da’esh) — intensifying operations, the security situation deteriorated through August in Afghanistan. Despite the Taliban's claims that Da’esh does not physically exist in Afghanistan and does not pose a threat, the group had grabbed credit for deadly attacks on mosques, schools, and cars.

Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan last August, the country has been mired in violence. The adverse situation is likely to persist as there have been no signs of the Taliban consolidating its dominance in the near future.

According to the data, Afghanistan recorded 366 terrorism-linked fatalities in August, registering a sharp increase of 50 per cent from 244 in July. There were 367 deaths in June and 391 in May. Thus, after registering a drop for two consecutive months, overall fatalities increased again in August. This cyclical trend has continued since March 2020, although there has been a significant diminution since the Taliban takeover in August 2021.

There were 77 civilian fatalities in August as against 68 in July, up 13.23 per cent. On August 17, at least 21 persons, including a prominent holy man Mullah Amir Mohammad Kabuli, were killed and another 33 were maimed in a suicide kaboom at Abu Bakar Mosque located in the Kher Khanna neighbourhood of police district-17, Kabul city. The attack was not claimed by any group, but bore strong Da’esh signatures. The spike in fatalities is largely accounted for the losses suffered by the Taliban on the ground.

The internal rift within the Taliban continues to hurt the regime in its struggle for consolidation and its fight against domestic adversaries. On August 27, three Taliban members were killed due to internal conflict in the Tala Wa Barfak District, Baghlan Province. On August 21, one person was killed and one injured as a result of internal strife within the Taliban in Panjshir Province. On August 17, the Afghan ministry of defence claimed to have killed Hazara
...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets...
runaway rebel commander Maulvi Mehdi Mujahid, who had split from the Taliban and launched a Hazara resistance in Balkhab district, Sar-e Pul Province.

NATIONAL RESISTANCE® FRONT EXPANDED OPERATIONS
On August 26, urging Afghans to unite against the Taliban, National Resistance® Front commander Khalid Amiri said protesting only in virtual space would not end the Taliban’s rule. He added that the Taliban were a terrorist organization and criticism and condemnation were not enough to stop its oppression. He supported sanctions against the Taliban, for regional and international security.

The head of foreign relations for the National Resistance® Front of Afghanistan, Ali Maisam Nazary, asserted that the front’s operations had expanded over the past year and the group was currently fighting against the Taliban in six provinces of the country, with 4,000 well-equipped and trained forces. These provinces were Panjshir, Kapisa, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Takhar and Parwan.

DAESH KILLED 45 TALIBAN FIGHTERS IN 12 ATTACKS
In August, Da’esh claimed 12 attacks killing 45 and injuring 120 Taliban fighters/Shia minorities in Kabul, Kunar and Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
provinces. Between January 1 and August 30, Da’esh has claimed 130 attacks in Afghanistan.

In the propaganda domain, Da’esh released a number of publications, continuing with its rhetoric against the Taliban, Pakistain, China, and India, as well as other neighbouring and regional countries cooperating with the Taliban.

On August 7, Da’esh published the 2nd Persian edition of a book titled "Characteristics of Khwariji Taliban" highlighting the differences between the Islamic State and the Taliban. The book underlined that the Taliban, by introducing ’un-Islamic and Shia practices’ in Afghanistan, were the real Khawarij (renegades) and, since the Taliban were protecting countries like Pakistain, Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites....
and India, it was necessary to counter the regime in Afghanistan. Da’esh also claimed to be on the "right side", as it had launched attacks against Shias and "infidel" countries like Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Caribbean-Latin America
El Salvador state of exception to conclude
[ForeignBrief] An extended state of exception to curb gang violence in El Salvador will conclude today.

The divisive measure resulted in over 50,000 arrests for gang affiliations amid mounting allegations of human rights violations. President Nayib Bukele argues the state of exception is necessary to dismantle gang infrastructure, while advocacy groups say innocent El Salvadorans are being unjustly rounded up in sweeps.

El Salvador ranks as one of the most dangerous Central American countries, with gang violence following the country’s 1979-1992 driving many to emigrate. Bukele’s increasingly authoritarian measures to curb violence and maintain power foster continued resentment among the public, worsening the country’s ongoing instability and jeopardizing critical foreign aid.

Bukele will not likely further extend the state of exception, as the state likely nears the limit of incarcerated people it can handle. While his actions may afford Bukele a temporary drop in the crime rite, domestic and international condemnation for his methods will outweigh any positive benefits he could have achieved. In the long run, Bukele’s actions may only lead to further international isolation as any illusion of democracy fades. He likely will enter a self-perpetuating cycle, relying increasingly on authoritarian measures to maintain power against protests provoked by the very same measures.

Violence In California Reaches "Epidemic" Levels As Our Society Rapidly Deteriorates All Around Us
[ZERO] I can’t understand why anyone would still want to live in California. Yes, there are lots of high paying jobs and the weather is very nice, but crime is completely and utterly out of control. As you will see below, a new report that has just been issued is warning that violence in the state has now reached "epidemic" levels. The police are doing what they can to try to contain the violence, but at this point they are vastly outnumbered by the predators. Sadly, this is the end result of literally decades of cultural rot, and what is happening in California is going to happen to the rest of the nation if we do not take urgent action to turn things around.

Why we need to ban Liberal Socialism?

1. It divides a nation.
2. It causes social unrest, instead of solutions.
3. It is the cause of Riots, Looting, & physical attacks on certain classes and races.
4. By use of a Welfare system, it perpetuates a poor minority working/non-working class to make wild claims of racism.
5. It is an ideology that its very roots demand upheaval instead of peaceful solutions & unity.

If you feel any of these are unwarranted, please name a Liberal Socialist city where it has been successfully implemented.

Vaccines for males and females which can be delivered to make people sterile without them being made aware are necessary.

#4  From:

"...Over the past two hundred years, advances in science and technology have so greatly improved material conditions that for many people, life no longer seems to be a battle for survival. What happens to loyalty, honor, and gratitude when conditions of affluence obviate the need to struggle to secure safety, sustenance, and even luxury in everyday life? The noble attributes recede.

Every great life has to be earned. It is not possible to live a great life on the backs of others. Moaning, wailing, begging, and borrowing amount to a mediocre life at best. Because loyalty, honor, and gratitude are the handmaidens of greatness in famous and common people alike, a brilliant person can live a cramped life, and a unsophisticated person can live a life of greatness. The creeds of victimhood, sniffing like hounds for slights and slurs, are replacing the effort, sacrifice, and compassion that make a great life possible. Victimhood culture is why we are watching greatness disappear from the American landscape.

The mighty paradox is that as material ease increases, the world becomes a colder, cruder, and crueler place. When the noble attributes become obsolete, infantile creeds of entitlement emerge. Instrumental victimologies are psychological belief systems that project a sense of victimhood in people who have never been persecuted, abused, or significantly victimized. The psychological purposes of instrumental victimhood are to exert control over others and demand and manipulate material advantages.
Instrumental victimology takes two overlapping forms. Impersonal relates to mass sociological conditions of consciousness such as racism, and personal relates to delusional victimization in family and social contexts. The dishonesty and moral destruction of instrumental victimologies dominate public discourse and much of private life in materially advantaged societies.

The left wing uses instrumental victimologies, especially nonexistent racial persecution, to control political conversation. When Biden shuffles to the podium and offers spectral handshakes to the ghosts he feels around him, he is not merely dividing our house against itself; he expresses the perversion that those who remain loyal to American greatness, those who honor America and are thankful to be Americans, are victimizers, and the disloyal, dishonorable, and ungrateful are victims."

Government Corruption
Fauci misled Congress About Gain-Of-Function Research, But 'Protected By Biden Admin'; Former CDC Chief Says
[American Thinker] Just last week, Senator Rand Paul appeared on Fox News and slammed Anthony Fauci for taking the default position of trying to "cover up" his activities, including potentially encouraging social media companies to censor medical information.
"I think that all of America should be appalled that America’s doctor, the leading expert on COVID in public health, doesn’t want to divulge information, doesn’t want to divulge his communications with Big Tech," Paul urged, adding that Fauci’s "modus operandi" is to "cover up".

A month before that, Senator Paul spoke after first ever Senate hearing on gain of function research, having revealed that there is a committee that is supposed to oversee such experimentation with potentially lethal viruses, but that it is above the oversight of Congress.
"We don’t know the names. We don’t know that they ever meet, and we don’t have any records of their meetings," the Senator reiterated, adding "It’s top-secret. Congress is not allowed to know. So whether the committee actually exists, we’re uncertain."

"We do know that they’ve met three times and there are thousands of gain-of-function research proposals. They’ve only met three times, they’ve only reviewed three projects," Paul continued.

The Senator added that "When Dr. Fauci said, ’Oh, we’ve reviewed this and the experts have looked at this, and said it’s not gain-of-function,’ even that wasn’t true. There was a committee that was formed after 2017 to look at this dangerous research. They didn’t look at this research at all because they never reviewed it. So no one reviewed this to say it wasn’t gain-of-function research. They didn’t review it, period."
"So we learned a lot of things, but I think we reconfirmed that Dr. Fauci is not being honest with us," Paul urged, adding "Yes, the NIH funded gain-of-function research. Yes, it was dangerous. And yes, nobody looked over this. Nobody reviewed the research. Yes, a million people died. And there still seems to be a significant lack of curiosity on the part of Democrats."
Of course, Fauci shrugged this off as just more 'vast-right-wing-conspiracy-theory' or some-such.

#3  Had an interesting conver with my ex' husband who works at Genentech. He was insistent that Covid-19 came from a wet market given it's genetic code. I had to repeatedly remind him that A) He has no direct data as all is filetered through the CCP. B) All such genetic code are natural until they are not. He had no answers so then I pressed him on why he was so insistent. Silence, until he offered up his regrets that science has become so politicized. If only I had a hand mirror ready.

Biden Administration Intentionally Weakening Military: Retired General
[ZERO] When the United States acts, the world is always watching, and one of the loudest messages since President Joe Biden took office came from how the United States handled its withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021.

What message did that send globally to other government leaders who may see America as an adversary? That was a question asked by Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council, during a panel discussion Thursday about America’s role on the world stage at the Pray Vote Stand Summit in Atlanta hosted by FRC Action, the legislative affiliate of Family Research Council.

"I think that will go down in history as the worst foreign policy failure in U.S. history. Every decision that was made was wrong," said Lt. General (Ret.) William Boykin, executive vice president at Family Research Council. "What did that say to the rest of the world? It said that we have weak leadership. And you have to ask yourself, why did Vladimir Putin refrain from attacking Ukraine during the Trump administration? And then he went in with barrels blazing, under the Biden administration, and I will tell you, I think a lot of that goes back to the weakness that people—both our adversaries and our friends—recognized in the Biden administration."

Other countries recognize that the Biden administration is weak and indecisive on many issues, he said, not just how the U.S. military left Afghanistan.

Boykin mentioned Biden’s approach to the Paris climate change treaty and his efforts to get the United States back into the Iran nuclear deal, formally called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

#4  Getting out of Afghanistan was the right move.

Trump wanted to do it but was overruled by the deep state. He wanted to withdraw from Syria, too. And Germany. All of these were the right decision. Not getting involved in Ukraine is the right decision, too.

These people treat the world like it's some kind of game and the goal is to "win". That's not what the world is. That's not what America is about. America is about making a good life for our people. Less war is progress on that goal.

Biden Continues To Push Iran Nuke Deal Despite Everyone Else Having Great Doubts-Its About The Oil And Upfront Money For Our Enemy
[AmericanThinker] On Monday, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called Iran's latest demands in the on-again, off-again nuclear negotiation, "a step backward," making a deal "unlikely." The Iranians want the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to shelve its investigation into Iran's undeclared uranium enrichment activities and figured they could get the U.S. to cave, as it did when John Kerry was leading the U.S. negotiating team in 2015.

Team Biden desperately wants the deal to go through, despite all the insistence from Tony Blinken that the U.S. will only agree to a deal that benefits U.S. national security. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy thinks he knows why.

"Are they trying to get Iranian oil back into the market to try to lower the gas price based on stopping production in America?" he asked Maria Bartiromo on Fox News “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Rep Hank 'Guam flip over' Johnson compares school board meeting attendees to Jan 6 rioters
[Red State] Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) was immortalized in 2010 when he told the Commander of U.S. Pacific Command, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize," during a hearing on a planned addition of U.S. forces to the U.S. territory of Guam.

To date, Guam has not capsized, but RedState will post breaking news as warranted.

Johnson, long known for his hyperbolic nonsense, on Friday claimed "MAGA Republicans" descended on school board meetings in a similar manner to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot during a committee hearing, as reported by Fox News. It got worse, as one might expect with this guy.

The most serious blow came through an apparently concerted effort to tame the Sadrist movement back into the Shia fold by delegitimising its political figurehead, Moqtada Tater al-Sadr

The effort gathered momentum after Iran-based Grand Ayatollah Kazem al-Haeri, the religious guardian of the Sadrist movement, last month announced his retirement. In an unprecedented statement, Haeri asked his supporters to follow Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khameini, as their religious guardian.

Turkey’s Normalization With Syria Aims To Control More Lands – SDC
[NPASyria] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
’s calls for normalization with the Syrian government aims to take control over other areas in the Syrian north, co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), Riyad Dirar, said on Saturday.

International media outlets circulated news that Ottoman Turkish intelligence chief paid several visits to the Syrian capital, Damascus, and met his Syrian counterpart Ali Mamlouk, paving the way for higher level sessions.

These visits came on the back drop of a series of meetings between Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
, according to the outlets.

In an interview with North Press, Dirar did not rule out that the Ottoman Turkish-Syrian rapprochement would be invested against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), adding, "The region may face more pressure."

The areas in northeastern Syria go ahead in building their own capacities, waiting for current shifts on the Syrian arena; however, they support any step that leads Syria towards the political solution, according to Dirar.

On August 11, Ottoman Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu, called for reconciliation between the Syrian government and the opposition, a call that was seen as a Ottoman Turkish shift and change in policy towards Syria.

On August 20, Hassan Kocher, deputy co-chair of the Executive Council of the AANES, said, "The recent agreement between Turkey and Syrian regime will deepen the Syrian crisis ... and it will lead to divide Syria."

"The rapprochement intends to strike the AANES," Kocher added.

Dirar went further saying that the Syrian government waits for practical and public steps in its meetings with Turkey, revealing, "The meetings between the two parties happened and are happening, but the Syrian government shows some unwillingness as a kind of pampering."

The SDC co-chair noted that the ongoing meetings are possibly discussing future role of the Syrian opposition and ministerial or administrative positions that would be assigned to it, and this is a part of the current dialogue of the intelligence services.

Normalization between Turkey and Syria will be prolonged, and it needs more time and dialogues; however, all parties imply strong interest for reaching understandings, according to Dirar.
