[DW] The man accused of killing a boy by pushing him in front of a train has been moved to a mental hospital, German prosecutors said. The 40-year-old had acted out against his family and a neighbor before fleeing Zurich.
The original report of events can be seen here. He is named as Habte Araya, hailed as an example of successful migrant integration into European society here.
German authorities transferred the suspect in the widely publicized Frankfurt murder to a psychiatric hospital after discovering he was mentally ill, prosecutors said on Thursday.
Police had arrested the man on suspicion of pushing an 8-year-old child in front of a moving train last month. He also allegedly pushed the boy's mother onto the track and tried to push another woman off the platform at Frankfurt's central railway station, but the adults both survived the attack.
On Thursday, authorities said the suspect was suffering from "an illness on the schizophrenia spectrum." The 40-year-old is most likely a paranoid schizophrenic, they added.
Good that it wasn’t really Sudden Jihad Syndrome. The problem is that 1500 years of close-cousin marriage in that part of the world means that these populations have a much higher level of genetic mental and physical problems than the general European population, making them both a greater danger and a significantly greater expense per capita.
The case sparked an embittered debate on migration in Germany, as the suspect is an Eritrea ...is run by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), with about the amounts of democracy and justice you'd expect from a party with that name. National elections have been periodically scheduled and cancelled; none have ever been held in the country. The president, Isaias Afewerki, has been in office since independence in 1993 and will probably die there of old age... n-born Swiss resident.
Nota bene: somewhere between 36 - 48% of Eritreans are Muslim...
'DANGER TO THE PUBLIC'
Swiss police said the man trapped his wife and three young children in their Zurich apartment before leaving the country. He had also threatened one of his neighbors with a knife and locked the woman up as well.
His symptoms were acute at the time of the Frankfurt attack, German authorities said on Thursday. They assume the suspect had "at least substantially reduced capabilities of understanding and self-control."
They also described the man as a "danger to the public" and said it was likely he would attempt further illegal acts if released. The Eritrean still faces a charge of murder and two accounts of attempted murder in Germany.
The man had been undergoing psychiatric treatment in Switzerland ...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell... . However, a woman is only as old as she admits... despite his acts of violence, German police said that he had not been listed as wanted in international databases and was able to travel freely.

Bullshit. My question is what were the other commuters doing standing around ? He shoulda been lynched right there. A people who can suffer to see their children murdered in front of them, voting bitches like Merkel in again and again, denying the migrant hazard while jesting about the 'Orange Man' on twitter - this is exactly what they deserve.

A society that sets a person like this up to fail in such a catastrophic way, and which does not protect a child from this sort of failure is a failed society.

As I recall, several men on the platform chased him out and cornered him until the police arrived. They didn’t lynch him because Germans don’t do such things in public yet. But outside public view, there have been repeated Molotov cocktail attacks on refugee homes, and also this item in the Israel Times’ liveblog today: the anti-immigration Alternative für Deutschland is surging in elections in the eastern states of Brandenburg (22.5%) and Saxony (27.5%).
When I was a very young adult, I went with Mr. Wife to visit friends in New York City. As we were standing in the subway platform, chatting and looking for the train, one of the men in our group — I don’t remember if it was Mr. Wife himself, another gentlemen — suddenly wrapped his arm around my waist, picked me up, and put me down again ten feet farther from the edge. It only took a moment, but I was naturally indignant about the indignity.
“Didn’t you notice?” he asked, “That druggie was about to push you off, onto the tracks.”
Of course I didn’t notice — situational awareness is not what I do, even when I realize I should. But the point is, such things move that fast.

This is why intelligent societies do not let muslims achieve economic independence, deny them purchasing power and representation. It may sound inhuman, but you will need to do it to survive. Learn from those societies whose very mainstay is surviving.
What western societies need is organized and state 'approved' inequality. Income, political and social.

Does the Census Bureau have deep-staters left over from the "O" administration? Probably. What "O" did to the government in the way of politicization and weaponization of the Federal government is tragic and very dangerous to the Republic.
And progress in draining the swamp seems painfully slow. I'm beginning to think that the only solution is drastic reductions in the federal workforce, period. I can't think that there are that many babies to be thrown out with the bath water.

Pakistan foreign minister S M Qureshi said that his country was open to dialogue if India released J&K leaders and allowed him to meet them
War was not an option to deal with the issue of Kashmir: Qureshi
Just days back, Pak PM Imran Khan in an opinion piece for NYT had threatened that the situation the Valley could lead to a war, if not a nuclear exchange
NEW DELHI: After Pakistain PM Imran Khan ...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders... had ruled out dialogue with India until it reversed the decision to revoke J&K's special status, his foreign minister SM Qureshi in an apparent turnaround on Saturday said that Pakistain was open to dialogue if India released the J&K leaders and allowed him to meet them. This was even as India again underscored its position that talks were possible only in an environment free of terror.
Qureshi was quoted as having said that Pakistain had never said no to dialogue with India. However, a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth... he added that "we cannot see the environment of dialogue being created by India". Some of the conditions for dialogue Qureshi was said to have specified in his interview to BBC included India lifting restrictions in the Valley, releasing the imprisoned Kashmiri leaders and allowing him to meet them.
In his NYT opinion piece, Khan was quoted as having said that dialogue was possible only when India reversed "its illegal annexation of Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... , ends the curfew and lockdown, and withdraws its troops to the barracks''.
While Khan and other Pak leaders have threatened that the situation the Valley could lead to a war, if not a nuclear exchange, Qureshi also said Saturday war was not an option to deal with the issue of Kashmir.
Qureshi's emphasis on dialogue came even as India again underscored its position that talks were possible only if, as the government has repeatedly said, Pakistain took verifiable and irreversible action against cross-border terrorism.
External affairs minister S Jaishankar had said on Friday that India was willing to discuss outstanding issues with Pakistain bilaterally in an atmosphere free of terror and violence. Jaishankar's remarks came after his meeting with Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an Union commissioner Christos Stylianides in Brussels after the latter emphasised the need for India and Pakistain to restart dialogue.

3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... Minister for Law Raja Mohammad Basharat on Saturday said the government has directed district administrations across the province to revisit the lists of firebrand ...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments... Learned Elders of Islam and zakireen before imposing a ban on them.
"The old lists included many firebrand speakers who have died and to save the government from embarrassment the lists should be revised. The lists would be issued in a day or two so that religious gatherings would be made accordingly," he told a presser after a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet Subcommittee on Law and Order here.
The minister said there was a demand from all schools of thought to inform them about the ban on religious scholars so that they would make arrangements for the congregations.
The minister said the government had issued a code of conduct for Muharram after consultations with all religious leaders.
He said there was a dire need to start and end the mourning processions on time, adding that the organisers had been requested to implement the timetable. The subcommittee of the provincial cabinet would monitor all arrangements for Muharram, he added.
The minister asked the media not to report any news which would create sectarian violence and should play an effective role to spread the message of love and peace. He said media played a commendable role in the past in this regard.

[AnNahar] Six UN Security Council members on Wednesday blocked a move to include Somali jihadist group al-Shabaab ...... the personification of Somali state failure... on a list of organizations such as al-Qaeda that are under international sanctions, diplomatic sources said.
Several NGOs and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs recently stepped in to oppose the classification, which would have effectively kept humanitarian aid away from millions of Somalis living in al-Shabaab-controlled areas.
Germany, Belgium, Poland, La Belle France, Kuwait and the United States were the six countries whose votes blocked the implementation of the new sanctions. WTF??
Kenya, on the other hand, has pushed for tightening sanctions against al-Shabaab since late last year, and especially since an attack by the group at a Nairobi hotel in January left 21 people dead.
The country had wanted an amendment to UN Resolution 1267, which sanctions al-Qaeda, the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group and their affiliates.
A large portion of the population in Somalia relies on international aid after three decades of conflict and economic ruin.
Critics of the defeated sanctions have said including al-Shabaab in the Resolution 1267 designations would have effectively criminalized UN and other assistance to people in Somalia who depend on it.
And Somalia recently told the Security Council that taking actions that could interrupt aid would "play into the Shabaab's narrative and self-image as a de-facto government in areas where state reach is limited."

The need for this arose from the nature of the arrangement humanitarian aid groups have with Al-Shabab. Somalia is already listed as a sanctioned regime - arms embargo, travel ban, assets freeze.
But there is a humanitarian exemption like for the arms embargo, which allows humanitarians in Somalia and their mercs to use protective gear, an 'overheads exemption' that allows them to pay off al-Shabab goons to let them treat and feed the needy and the sick. This exemption was allowed for by the US. The diversions of aid, sale of supplies and 'taxes' levied by the shaboobs are what enables the NGOs to take the aid to the last Godforsaken mile in Somalia.
It is believed that including Al-shabab in the resolution 1267 sanctions will not affect the terrorists much, as their funding is guaranteed by domestic sources and offshore financiers through phone and internet banking. But it will sanction anybody dealing with them, even if it's an NGO that pays them jiziya 'protection money' to stay and work with natives, freezing their assets and disallowing banks and philanthropists from aiding them.
It's a resolution hold though, not a block and they may re-assess the situation differently later.
[Jpost] In December 2015, I drove toward the frontlines where Kurdish Peshmerga were in a desperate struggle with ISIS ...embracing their inner Islamic Brute... in northern Iraq.
In a largely deserted landscape, we entered the area around Mount Sinjar where 30 mass graves of victims of ISIS crimes would eventually be found.
Disputed between the central government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Sinjar district in Nineveh province is still central to securing Iraq against an ISIS return.
Despite promises of a return to relative stability following ISIS’s territorial defeat, Duraid Hikmat, Nineveh’s director of agriculture, said in July that more than 30,000 hectares (75,000 acres) of crops had been destroyed in recent fires ‐ about a third by criminals and bandidosgunnies and the rest "for natural reasons."
In Sinjar, the blazes have severely harmed the livelihoods of Sunnis and Yazidis who had begun to return after ISIS drove them out in 2014.
Sinjar is also a strategic area that forms a border with Syria, where both US forces and Iran, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... and other regional powers are vying for influence. According to the report, the Egyptians suggested a long-term ceasefire in exchange for humanitarian and economic improvements for the coastal enclave.
The officials warned the Hamas delegation that, given the tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, Israel would strike a fatal blow to the Strip if there will be a conflict.
During the talks, the Hamas delegation guaranteed that the weekly "March of Return" protests will be restrained this Friday, according to Ynet.
According to the report, if Hamas maintains its promise, Israel will restore the fuel supply to Gaza to its full capacity on Sunday after cutting it by half this week following rocket launches.
Shortly after publication of the report, sources at the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) Unit claimed that six fuel trucks, funded by Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. [Jpost] "The need for such a system comes from the place where soldiers in combat need to operate in very tense scenarios and do things very fast and accurately under a tremendous amount of physical and mental pressure," another representative from the company told the Post while demonstrating the system at the range.
"Exactly the same way it locks on a target on the ground, it locks on a target in the air," he said.
With the system, the user selects and locks onto the target, and as soon as the trigger is squeezed, the system calculates the target movement and predicts its next location by means of advanced image processing and algorithms. I spoke to someone about this early today (I am currently in Israel).
The system works really well once you acquire the target. There is still work to be done on target acquisition since drones and arson balloon weapons can be relatively small and can be painted blue to blend in with the sky.

The president of the International Judo Federation reportedly helped spirit an Iranian judoka to Germany following an asylum request after he was pressured by Tehran to throw a match at this week’s World Championship in Tokyo to avoid facing an Israeli opponent.
Marius Vizer confirmed to Japanese media on Saturday that Iranian Saeid Mollaei had arrived safely in Berlin, where he is preparing to file a request for asylum.
Vizer told Japanese media that Mollaei had approached him and confided that the Iranian government had pressured him to throw his semifinal battle against Belgium’s Matthias Casse in order to avoid facing Israel’s Sagi Muki in the final. Muki went on to win the championship, becoming the first Israeli man to win a World Championship gold. Vizer said Mollaei had relayed that Tehran had even reached out to members of his family to further pressure the judoka to lose on purpose.
Vizer said the IJF intends on allowing Mollaei to compete in the future as a member of the team for international refugees at the 2020 summer Olympics also in Tokyo.
