[American Military News] A U.S. airstrike killed six members of the Al Shabaab terror group after they attacked U.S. troops on Monday, the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) said.
The airstrike was launched in response to an Al Shabaab ambush on U.S and partner forces in the area, AFRICOM said in an emailed statement to American Military News. The Al Shabaab fighters attacked from a building in the vicinity of Dar as-Salam, Somalia before the airstrike was called. Three more Al Shabaab fighters were also wounded in the airstrike.
The AFRICOM said U.S. forces were in the vicinity of the ambush and were present as part of an effort to advise and assist Somali partner forces. AFRICOM said Al-Shabaab falsely claimed U.S. casualties, but no U.S. forces were injured or killed during the attack.
AFRICOM reported no civilian casualties from the strike.
"Al Shabaab is a dangerous enemy," said U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Bradford Gering, who is the deputy director for operations for AFRICOM. "It is a danger to Africa and the United States. "We will continue to place pressure on the network and impact their ability to plan and execute these acts."

U.S. Forces have been working with Somali partners, namely the Federal Government of Somalia, to train them to handle the Al Shabaab insurgency and eventually transfer responsibilities to the Somali government.
"As part of an international effort, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. interagency partners continue to help support Somali-led efforts to counter and contain dangerous terrorist organizations from exporting violence more broadly," the AFRICOM statement read.
The news of the Monday strike comes after AFRICOM released information about a Tuesday strike that targeted a senior member of the Somali terror group. At least one Al Shabaab member was killed in the Tuesday strike, but AFRICOM did not confirm their identity as that of the senior Al Shabaab leader.

[ALMARSAD.CO] Two official security sources, in addition to a civilian source, confirmed that the Ottoman Turkish Intelligence Division in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... had directed the infiltration of the spontaneous popular protest movement through loyal elements to call for demands in line with their interests. Islamist militants killed at least 20 people during attacks on three villages in eastern Congo, the army and a local administrator said.
The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), ...an Islamist group that started out in Uganda. They don't appear to be affiliated with al-Qaeda or Islamic State. They just like killing infidels...
a Ugandan armed group operating in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo for more than three decades, have killed more than 1,000 civilians since the start of 2019, according to United Nations figures.
The army and local authorities discovered the victims of the latest massacre on Wednesday in the villages of Mapasana, Mayitike and Sayuni, around 30km north-west of the city of Beni.
The killings come just three days after a similar raid that left 13 dead.
Late last year the Congo army launched a large-scale operation against the ADF, sparking a string of revenge attacks against civilians that the U.N. says may constitute war crimes.
[Jpost] The paper said that Hijjawi was arrested at Heathrow airport and the 62-year-old's house in the Blackhall area of Edinburgh was searched by Scottish police.
British authorities arrested the chair of the Association of Paleostinian Communities in Scotland on Saturday for allegedly committing preparatory acts of terrorism in connection with the New Irish Republican Army.
Dr Issam Hijjawi was the tenth person to be charged in the joint Police Service of Northern Ireland and MI5 investigation called Operation Arbacia, according to a Tuesday report in The Irish News.
The paper said that Hijjawi was arrested at Heathrow airport and the 62-year-old's house in the Blackhall area of Edinburgh was searched by Scottish police.
The Irish News reported that Hijjawi attended two meeting that were surveilled by MI5—the United Kingdom’s domestic intelligence service.
According to the paper, Hijjawi travelled in 2018 to Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , and its capital Beirut, along with Kevin Barry Murphy, who was one of the six defendants who appeared in court on Monday.
The six suspects are charged with a number of terrorist related offenses, including directing terrorism, wrote the Irish News.
The paper reported that Hijjawi claims he attended the New Irish Republican Army meeting to provide an update on the affairs of Paleostine.
"What they called my Irish connection, ironically admitting the parallel between the Paleostinian and Irish causes." Hijjawi said during a talk where he had been approached multiple times by on a MI5
"Comrades, be assured that we are on the right side of history," Hijjawi continued. "Whether in Paleostine or Ireland, the nearly century-long struggle for freedom, self-determination, dignity and social justice will prevail, and the imperialist, colonialist powers sooner or later will be defeated, it’s just a matter of time."
The anti-Israel outlet Middle East Eye reported in 2016 that "For Hijjawi, BDS is an important means to make Israel aware that the international community is not going to keep silent while Israel violates international law."
The Jerusalem Post has reported on the interconnections between the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions campaign targeting Israel and terrorism, as well as violence. Germany, Austria and other European countries have permitted the convicted Paleostinian terrorist and plane hijacker, Leila Khaled, to deliver pro-BDS talks. Khaled is a member of the US and EU-designated terrorist entity the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine.
In early August, a Berlin court convicted the BDS activist, Stavit Sinai, in Germany for a violent mostly peaceful assault during a presentation of an Israeli survivor of the Holocaust.

Any excuse for free stuff by black criminals as excuses get very tired and worn to pretend they are not really just the dregs of a broken subculture that hides its hatred and racism as victimhood.

Riots are spontaneous, local, leaderless outbursts. No politician of either party in recent US history has supported riots or opposed swift and overwhelming state force to quash them.
These acts of violence are deliberate strikes against state authority that are coordinated across state lines, funded by national organizations, abetted and encouraged by one party and its media cheerleaders.
This is a violent, nationwide insurrection. 21st century Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army.

They've already resorted to bombs and arson. Just put an end to this crap, and include the officials who won't enforce the law in the round-up.

The problem is that the leaders don't lead from the front. They are well back in the crowd. Any whiff of grapeshot or buckshot would just take out some "poor kid" who just wanted to see what was happening.

What #10 said.
Obviously there is generous nationwide funding and the violence is most certainly organized at a national level. DOJ should pursue the source of the funding and the conspirators and make sure their punishment keeps them out of action for a good long time.
If they're burning and looting they need a whiff of grapeshot. If they're only throwing rocks and bottles they need pepper spray and billy clubs. Any responsible mayor, governor or president would apply sufficient force to put a stop to this nonsense. Those who don't are guilty of malfeasance in office and need to be recalled and then prosecuted by their successors. Citizens who lack the wisdom or gumption to recall bad politicians deserve what they get.

Requires same approach as the one used against al qaeda.
Trace the funding and freeze their accounts. Map the network. Work with foreign intel to sniff out overseas support. Tap their communications, infiltrate cells, disrupt their attacks.

Kind of hard to see thru those wooden shields. And they offer little protection against balistics.
This isn't a 'protest' anymore (if it ever was) but armed insurrection. Steps can be taken about that.

A competent DA would look at conspiracy to commit arson and allow wholesale mass arrests with a no bail request for a judge who was clearly aware of public scrutiny of his decision in a genuine local news organization. Seeing how each of these systemic processes have been sabotaged by the left explains why civilization on the local level is failing. Cops who see this won’t take career or personal risks anymore. Fix it locally, or watch the barbarians rule. They are inside the wire for those who get what that means.
[WOODTV] A white, 17-year-old police admirer was arrested Wednesday after two people were shot to death during a third straight night of protests in Kenosha over the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.
Kyle Rittenhouse, of Antioch, Illinois, was taken into custody in Illinois on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide. Antioch is about 15 miles from Kenosha.
Two people were killed Tuesday night and a third was wounded in an attack apparently carried out by a young white man who was caught on cellphone video opening fire in the middle of the street with a semi-automatic rifle.
“I just killed somebody,” the gunman could be heard saying at one point during the rampage that erupted just before midnight.
In the wake of the killings, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers authorized the sending of 500 members of the National Guard to Kenosha, doubling the number of troops. The governor’s office said he is working with other states to bring in additional National Guard members and law officers. Authorities also announced a 7 p.m. curfew, an hour earlier than the night before.
“A senseless tragedy like this cannot happen again,” the governor, a Democrat, said in a statement. “I again ask those who choose to exercise their First Amendment rights please do so peacefully and safely, as so many did last night. I also ask the individuals who are not there to exercise those rights to please stay home and let local first responders, law enforcement and members of the Wisconsin National Guard do their jobs.”
In Washington, the Justice Department said it is sending in the FBI and federal marshals in response to the unrest.
The dead were identified only as 26-year-old Silver Lake, Wisconsin, resident and a 36-year-old from Kenosha. The wounded person, a 36-year-old from West Allis, Wisconsin, was expected to survive, police said.
“We were all chanting ‘Black lives matter’ at the gas station and then we heard, boom, boom, and I told my friend, `‘That’s not fireworks,’” 19-year-old protester Devin Scott told the Chicago Tribune. “And then this guy with this huge gun runs by us in the middle of the street and people are yelling, ‘He shot someone! He shot someone!’ And everyone is trying to fight the guy, chasing him and then he started shooting again.”
Scott said he cradled a lifeless victim in his arms, and a woman started performing CPR, but “I don’t think he made it.”
According to witness accounts and video footage, police apparently let the young man responsible for the shootings walk past them with a rifle over his shoulder and his hands in the air as members of the crowd were yelling for him to be arrested because he had shot people.
Rittenhouse was assigned a public defender in Illinois for a hearing Friday on his transfer to Wisconsin. The public defender’s office had no comment. Under Wisconsin law, anyone 17 or older is treated as an adult in the criminal justice system.
Much of Rittenhouse’s Facebook page is devoted to praising law enforcement, with references to Blue Lives Matter, a movement that supports police. He also can be seen holding an assault rifle.
Other photographs include those of badges of various law enforcement agencies, including the Chicago Police Department. All of the badges have a black line across them — something police officers typically do with black tape when an officer is killed in the line of duty.
In a photograph posted by his mother, he is wearing what appears to be a blue law enforcement uniform as well as the kind of brimmed hat that state troopers wear.
The sheriff told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that armed vigilantes had been patrolling Kenosha’s streets in recent nights, but he did not know if the gunman was among them. However, video taken before the shooting shows police tossing bottled water from an armored vehicle to what appear to be armed civilians walking the streets. And one of them appears to be the gunman.
“We appreciate you being here,” an officer is heard saying to the group over a loudspeaker.
In a stunning new video making the rounds on Twitter, it looks as if the Kenosha shooter, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse of Illinois, was targeted with what could be a Molotov cocktail before the first shooting that took the life of one of the rioters.
Also: Here's more information from Arizona State Prison, much of which points to him being a violent person.
He was the highest possible risk level. Level 3: The risk of repeat offense is high. The degree of danger posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active dissemination.

It seems every other Antifa Commie arrested has prior arrests for pedophilia. The other half are in some stage of a sex change. Sick bastards.

“A senseless tragedy like this cannot happen again,” the governor, a Democrat, said
Self defense is never senseless.
It will keep happening as long as you Commie weasles keep allowing your pet thugs to continue to burn down your cities. Just feel lucky that the good guys haven't gone all Robspierre on your buttt.

I'm sure the media will mistakenly leave out that little tidbit in their editing. Strange how all the media outlets seem to make the same editing mistakes.

I tried to post this info with links, but Rantburg eats my posts when I have more than a couple, so just go to the Wisconsin DOJ About > Executive Profiles page, and then use your favorite search/pedia page for confirmation:
AG Josh Kaul Bio:
His mother was Wisc AG from 2003 to 2007.
His stepfather was a cop.
Kaul clerked for Michael Boudin in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
And who is Michael Boudin?
Boudin was born in New York City, the son of the civil liberties attorney Leonard Boudin and older brother of Weather Underground member Kathy Boudin.
Which of course, makes Judge Boudin the uncle of Chesa Boudin.
Are you getting it yet?
Also, Deputy DA Eric Wilson once worked in Chicago.
Incidentally, I wouldn't know any of this myself, if I hadn't gone down a rabbit hole after looking up the Wisky DOJ > About > Executive Profiles Page.
None of the so-called "conservative" news sites I saw covering this mentioned any of this.
Almost like they just exist to get rage-clicks while avoiding giving any actual info.

Thise who came to the aid of the deranged idiot woth the head wound had trouble finding the wound. That does not sound like received a point blank shot from an AR, especially compared to the armed rioter who had his bicep torn off. Are there circumstances which might account for wound discrepency? (ISIS) bandidoshard boyz opened fire on a checkpoint belonging to Iraqi security forces in southeastern Kirkuk province on Monday.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell released a statement late Monday confirming the deaths.
"ISISbully boyz opened fire on a station of the third regiment of the 20th brigade of the fifth division in the Daquq area on the Kirkuk highway," the statement said, using the Arabic acronym for ISIS.
The attack also maimed four other soldiers, according to the statement.
Kirkuk lies in territory disputed between the central government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Erbil.
The latest Pentagon Inspector General report recorded more than 400 ISIS-claimed or suspected attacks in Iraq from April to June of this year, 70 of which took place in Kirkuk province.
ISIS carried 101 attacks in Iraq between July 23 and August 19, according to its weekly propaganda newspaper al-Naba, accessible on its official telegram channel. Of this number, at least 12 attacks were reported in Kirkuk province.
Iraq's defense ministry and the KRG Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs agreed last month to establish three joint coordination rooms with the aim of eliminating ISIS cells active in disputed Diyala, Kirkuk and Nineveh province.
The holy warrior group killed the commander of the 59th Brigade of the Iraqi army, Brigadier General Ali Hameed Ghaydan, after bandidoshard boyz attacked his convoy north of Baghdad last month.
ISIS also grabbed credit for the killing of General Brigadier Ahmed al-Lami, commander of the seventh division of the army's 29th brigade in an ambush in Anbar late last month.

[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor... has resumed Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s on northern Iraq’s Shingal (Sinjar in Arabic), in the first attacks on the Yezidi heartland since the onset of their latest operation in mid-June.
Khudeda Chuke, mayor of Sinune town, says a vehicle belonging to the Shingal Protection Units (YBS), a Yezidi gang affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) was hit in the vicinity of Bahraviyan village, seven kilometres west of the town of Khanasor.
"Thankfully, there were no casualties in the bombing," Chuke said, adding the airstrike struck the vehicle at a YBS base.
"There were only minor material damages," he noted.
In a statement, the YBS acknowledged the airstrikes, but said they would publish details of the Ottoman Turkish airstrikes at a later time, according to PKK-affiliated Rojnews.
Along with the Kurdistan Region's mountainous areas, Turkey occasionally targets Shingal and its surroundings on the grounds that it is seeking out the PKK in the area. Shingal is a disputed area that is claimed by both Erbil and Baghdad. Since October 2017, Shingal has been in the security portfolio of Iraq, and is controlled by numerous different gangs and security forces

The explosion took place in the village of Shaqoli on the Erbil-djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... road, according to the cell statement, published by Iraqi state media.
The blast was confirmed by Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, while addressing the Security Council.
"In terms of security, conditions for humanitarian actors are also hazardous in certain areas, as was starkly highlighted today by the IED explosion that impacted a World Food Programme convoy in Ninewa," she said of the security situation in Iraq, not mentioning any injuries or casualties.
Rudaw English has reached out to WFP for comment, but has not received a response by the time of publication.
