There Was a Huge ‘Mistake' in the 2020 Census… Guess Which Party It Favored?
[PJMedia] There was a major problem with the 2020 Census, and most people probably haven’t heard about it, even though it has enormous implications. At the end of May, the Census Bureau admitted that it miscounted 14 states in the 2020 Census.

Why didn’t the media make a big stink about this story? Maybe it was overshadowed by the recent mass shootings, that’s certainly a possibility, but I have another theory.

Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it overcounted: Hawaii, Delaware, Rhode Island, Minnesota, New York, and Massachusetts.

Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it undercounted: Texas, Illinois, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

Well, gee, isn’t that interesting. Does it seem like a mere bizarre coincidence that the overcounted states all voted for Biden in 2020, and five of the six undercounted states for Trump in 2020?

"Last week’s Census Bureau announcement of serious errors will impact the next decade’s congressional apportionment and delegations, and play a crucial role in the presidential race," explained Kristin Tate at The Hill. "Given the nature of the mistakes, Democrats could hang onto the presidency under particularly controversial circumstances due to publicly-acknowledged errors."

The changes will impact national politics in a dramatic fashion. The 2020 census led to significant changes to congressional seats apportioned to states. Texas gained two congressional seats, while North Carolina, Florida, Montana, Colorado and Oregon each gained one. New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and California each lost one seat in Congress. There was significant surprise that population growth winners such as Texas and Florida didn’t gain more seats. With the possible exception of Illinois not losing a seat, the likely effects of an accurate count would have overwhelmingly aided red states. Simply put, the revised figures show that (mostly) red states had even quicker relative population growth compared to the rest of the country — and especially compared to (mostly) blue states. It is entirely possible that undercounted states could have gained at least one seat in Congress, while overcounted states may have lost at least one each.
All institutions are completely corrupt at this point. Burn them all down.

#1  The article links to the Census Bureau report. It looks like they’re comparing actual counts with self-response rates against what they expect based on computer models. Oddly enough, the South had a lower than expected number of self-responses — I assume that means the number of returned survey forms. PDF —executive summary is on page 8.

Okay, Groomers
[Powerline] Proponents of instructing small children in perverse sexual practices get offended when people point out that the children are being groomed. But what else can you call it? The invaluable Libs of TikTok has documented not just one or two, but numerous elementary school teachers who proudly boast of what can only be termed grooming of their pre-teen students.
They really do want your children, and for much the same reasons.
Then we have the Drag the Kids to Pride event that was held yesterday in a Texas gay bar:

A Texas gay bar hosted a "Drag the Kids to Pride" event where drag queen dancers provocatively gyrated in front of children as young as toddlers. ...

The Mr. Misster gay bar in downtown Dallas hosted the drag queen event aimed at children.
***
"Our under 21 guests can enjoy a special Mr. Misster Mocktails while the moms and dads can sip on one of our classic Mr. Misster Mimosa Towers," the poster reads. "Do you want to hit the stage with the queens? We have FIVE limited spots for young performers to take the stage solo, or with a queen of their choosing! Come hangout with the Queens and enjoy this unique pride experience, fit for guests of all ages!"

At the link, you can see a number of appalling videos. Here are two of them. These kids are obviously being groomed into a gay lifestyle. Note the neon sign: "It’s not gonna lick itself." Another sign in the bar said, "I licked it so it’s mine."

I wonder if France still takes care of the US Military graves, like they did in the 1960's?

BEFORE they went Socialist and Pro-Russia.

100 Days of War: Discontent is Growing in Russia
[Nadin Brzezinski] (Ed note: since these posts came straight from Russian sources like Reverse Side of the Medal, city name spelling uses the Russian translation, not Ukrainian)

It is important to understand that a three-day war that’s lasted for 100 days is causing issues in Russia. It is obvious that military bloggers are very unhappy with the path this war has taken. Ergo, some internal resistance is growing, even in places that could surprise most observers.

But it is deeper than that, not only are Mercs discussing the fate of the war. Other channels are starting to argue why Russia24 and people like Margarita Simoyan and Vladimir Solovyov are effective in the pro-war propaganda.

The first is a discussion on Telegram that linked to how that propaganda is done. The link is here, you can hit translate, and will give you the article in English.

Here is a critical point made by this piece.

Skillful distortion of facts is not the main factor in the success of propaganda. Facts are secondary here. Propaganda appeals to the emotions and feelings of people, so the propaganda tool is universal and works great for both religious fanatics of the East and enlightened Europeans.

Agitators play on the basic need for belonging (“our nation is the greatest and the one”); existential fear of the future — it is directed at a specific enemy, internal or external (“all evil is from Americans / Ukrainians / Jews”); they turn anger and dissatisfaction into the idea of retribution: “we were treated unfairly, they will answer for it!”.

Facts don’t matter, though there are a few used in the mix. This is why Russians have gone from having some doubts to embracing the whole thing. However, that might start to break as the reality of the war comes home.

In the Telegram channel they made a few other important points:

Propaganda relies on the delusions and fears that citizens already have — on the virtual reality that mistakenly seems to be reality. “If a person “sees” that the whole world is ruled by Jews, he will see it everywhere. If a person sees that we are at war with the Nazis, he will see these Nazis, especially since they will be shown on TV.”

#2  Articles like this ones are the mental gymnastics of the arrogant loser… Russians are immensely happy about their future and economic prospects and prosperity in the new economic world.
The reality is, members of the Ukrainian army units describe hopeless situations, and are calling for declare a retreat or call out their commanders for neglect. Thousands and thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are surrendering and denouncing their commanders, videos are for all to see.

Morale is so bad because those troops do not fare well.

Sad thoughts
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian blogger Donetsk

I have noticed a recent uptick of Ukrainian artillery strikes in civilians areas in Donetsk, where civilians have traditionally fared the worst.

[DonRF] Donetsk is again suffering from fire, it is unlikely to be quiet at night. 91 dead in a week in the DPR. Nearly 400 wounded. All of these are civilians. Reports are dreary, personal contacts too. Everything froze in some kind of balance, and it is absolutely incomprehensible where it will stagger.

Not fun. Some are looking for zradu, others are looking for peremoga, others want socialism, others want the scoop out of themselves... And Donbass suffers in silence when it flies in packets, then there is no time for geonanopolitics. Although they also whisper ... about different things. It is hard for people to believe that on the 102nd day it is exactly so. It is even more difficult to live in this understanding that it is for a long time.

The logic of war is no victories and morale is falling. The fictitious ones come in the first month, then all these multi-move ones become boring. And there is nothing to do, everything continues. The process has begun, and now it is up to the end. It's like in flight - I burned 51% of the fuel and there's no way back. Only forward to the end. Both for them and for us. They just do not have a way back, because only a resounding victory will close the hell that will emerge after. After all, they will tear their own if there is peace. All this dope will go away, the facts will remain.

Exactly like ours. There are a lot of bugs that need to be changed. Donbass will be restored later. From the ruins And you can't resurrect people. So, again, just go ahead, there is no choice. And this is an axiom. Russian ultra-patriots can pose as much as they want - we are protecting you, no guys, you are protecting yourself. We are a played card, they are coming after you.

And it's time to forget the great-power show-offs, the 102nd day has gone. Yes, and ours need less to yell about "betrayed", "set up" and the like. They did not betray, they just could. Yes, and now what? In Ukraine? Good luck, you can survive the artillery raid, there is no castration with further extraction of the eye with a knife. And it will be so. We are not human to them.

No one has a choice, that's the point. And I personally do not call for anything, everyone understands everything. Well, except for half a percent of the stubborn in the Russian Federation and here, who believe in the rape of pregnant boys in panties and self-attacks. But those bullets will fix them. Ukrainian. And that's if we lose.

It is unlikely. Very unlikely. The question is just the speed of buildup and the price of victory. Not in counter-battery shooting, Soviet artillery systems are shit, men who at least know how to shoot even more, not in ammunition, can buy small UAVs of the Russian Federation as much as needed in a week, the question is how soon all this will be organized, but pique vests:

It was even funnier. In December 2016, his boss calls me. The man had been engaged in the Ukrainian direction for almost three years (!!!) by that time. Further our dialogue:

He: Listen, we have a meeting now, tell me, is Zhitomir ours or not ours?
Me: What do you mean? (I go nuts from the very formulation of the question, which speaks of the complete incompetence of a person as a specialist)
He: Well, Bandera or not?

This is where I blew up, of course.

Me: Well, you're just a sheep, or what? Zhytomyr is a big city. There are ours, there are not ours, there are Bandera, communists, Jews, Seventh-day Adventists, bikers, chess players and ten thousand more social groups. How do they feel about Moscow? Yes, whatever! Someone supports completely, someone with reservations, someone is simply against it, someone is against it, but there is a nuance, someone doesn’t care at all ... and so on !! How can a whole city be recorded as ours or not ours, what kind of question is this? Is Moscow ours or not? There are twenty million people here and everyone has their own opinion! ..

He, interrupting: I see, I understand. In short, not Bandera, right?

I hung up.

These people sat in the Ukrainian direction until 2018, until they were kicked out in the ass. Responsibility for the difficulties in conducting SVO now lies, among other things, on their shoulders. Of course, none of them will answer for the failures, it is not customary here.

But conclusions must be drawn. Those who understand it should be responsible for the direction. This is not self-advertising (God forbid, I'm a private person and I'm not going anywhere), it's just a statement of fact.

Reading that which you won’t understand who is dumber - current or applicants, but you tend to believe that the connoisseur of nominal LNG and weighing pistols on market scales is all the same, because he is hungry, greedy and unprincipled, they will be removed. We don’t have the Hindenburgs, it’s bad with the Bismarcks, but there are people.

And at the top as well. Russia has such a karma - slowly and not ready. This time Donbass pays. The strategists worked out at night, it didn’t help the Ukrainians to see the realization, which means that this night will be difficult. I hope that for them, since there is nothing to cover us with.

Such are the unfortunate thoughts. Why should they be funny? People are dying, property is burning, everything is slow and alternatively brilliant. And what to do? It's good to be Russian, but it's hard.

Rozhin: Severodonetsk. 06/05/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist. Boris Rozhin.

[ColonelCassad] 1. Fighting continues in the area of the industrial zone of the Azot plant. The enemy also maintains communication with Lisichansk through one of the damaged bridges - heavy equipment passes there with great difficulty, but vehicles pass.

2. The transfer of reinforcements from Lysichansk to Severodonetsk, after the Armed Forces surrendered almost the entire city, made it possible to stay in the Azot area and start fighting in the adjacent residential area, while the Ukrainian sources themselves admit that there is no ambition to recapture Severodonetsk.

The fighting will accordingly continue in the industrial area, and part of Severodonetsk will soon turn into an analogue of Mariupol in terms of the destruction of high-rise buildings and other residential buildings, taking into account the active work of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk.

3. It is unlikely that the command of the RF Armed Forces planned to storm Lisichansk head-on after taking the industrial zone of Severodonetsk. The real assault on Lisichansk will begin when they break through the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Privolye and Ustinovka, advancing to the outskirts of the city, regardless of what will happen in the industrial complex.

4. Of key importance for all these battles is the struggle for the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway, since control over it devalues any efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hold Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, unless, of course, there is a plan to sacrifice the entire grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as all foreign mercenaries who were abandoned to hold the Azot industrial zone.

5. So far, the RF Armed Forces have ensured complete fire control over the route, which has already affected the supply of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. But there is no complete block on the highway yet, so individual vehicles and groups are still passing, but full-fledged supply, which was possible back in the first half of May, can no longer be ensured, despite all efforts to push the RF Armed Forces away from the area of Belogorovka and Berestovoye.

The current task of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in this direction is to grind the enemy's reserves in oncoming battles and cross the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway.

6. Naturally, the activity of the RF Armed Forces in the direction of Seversk is also expected, since taking under fire control (which is not yet available) the Artemovsk-Seversk-Lysichansk highway will lead to the notorious operational encirclement of the Severodonetsk grouping, which will simply lose the ability to supply through Artemovsk, and any retreat will be associated with serious losses.

7. Therefore, in the near future, on the one hand, we will observe positional battles in the area of the Severodonetsk industrial zone and high-intensity battles north of Soledar.

#1  the Artemovsk-Seversk-Lysichansk highway

This was confusing the heck out of me because
1) there is an Artemovsk southeast of Popasna that is definitely not being used by Ukr as an MSR
2) in one of those 2016 name-changey things, Artemovsk reverted to its old name of Bakhmut.

So think Bakhmut-Seversk-Lysichansk as a supply route as the main road between Bakhmut-Lysichansk is closing.
Posted by: SteveS || 06/06/2022 9:53 Comments || Top||

#2  There is the main MSR going from Bakhmut (Artemovsk) and Severodonetsk. There are two other alternative routes going into Severodonetsk.

The main route is hard ball. Dunno about the rest.

The Russians say they have the main route under observation for artillery, what they refer to as under fire control.

Economy
One Quarter of Americans Have to Delay Retirement Thanks to Bidenflation
[The Lid] While our intelligence-deprived liar-in-chief blames Russian dictator Vlad Putin for the Bidenflation, that claim is about as real as the tooth fairy, monsters in the closet, and my six-pack abs. The truth is thanks to Joe Biden’s failed policies, millions of Americans will no longer be able to retire at the time they had hoped to, according to a report.

The latest report from the BMO Real Financial Progress Index shows that Biden has seriously hurt millions of Americans who hoped to retire soon.

As reported in The Blaze:

"Nearly 60% of those surveyed said that inflation has adversely affected their personal finances, of which about one in four said that they have felt a major impact," the group said. "As a result of inflation, 36% of Americans have reduced their savings and 21% have reduced their retirement savings. A quarter of Americans will need to delay their retirement. Younger Americans are feeling the most impact — over 60% of those aged 18-34 said they had to reduce contributions to their savings."

This survey of more than 3,400 adults was conducted from March 30 to April 25.

Prices on a range of goods and services have soared since President Joe Biden took office, with energy costs leading the way. The latest data on the consumer price index, a key marker of inflation produced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, has reported the highest inflation rate in four decades.

"The all items index increased 8.3 percent for the 12 months ending April, a smaller increase than the 8.5-percent figure for the period ending in March," BLS said. "The all items less food and energy index rose 6.2 percent over the last 12 months. The energy index rose 30.3 percent over the last year, and the food index increased 9.4 percent, the largest 12-month increase since the period ending April 1981."

Of course, this mess of Biden’s is also seriously hurting people nowhere near retiring. Everyone is hurting. Biden is a failure who is destroying the lives of every American, and most especially the lives of the lower and middle classes.

Question: But aren't all retirees, not just those planning to, doing the same?

Being retired now 21 years this Sept. We have had to make some serious and interesting downward changes the last 2 years in our spending and travel budgets.

With Gas up 110+%, food items up anywhere from 9+ to 26+% depending on the item, along with growing spot item food shortages.

I expect we'll see a lot more late night accidental Restaurants fires after closing.

I see FEDEX drivers running up fuel bills of at least 150 dollars at a time and diesel 250. Adding on delivery charges that will never go away as long as stores will pay. Motor home $2000 dollars to fill up. one side tank of dump truck 250 one day and 550 the next day for same side tank. I say again. Independent truckers are parking their rigs. Not worth it anymore to drive. They might as well have put a terrorist in office as president.

Destroying USA as Fast as Nazis on Meth
[Gateway] I’m a Jewish American and I understand my history. The speed with which Biden and his Marxist handlers are destroying America and the US economy has never been seen in world history- except for Nazi Germany.

I call this "THE BIDEN BLITZKRIEG."

#3  ...FWIW, the book 'Blitzed' is one of the most fascinating pieces of history I've read in a while. The author makes a compelling case that meth and other narcotics may well have extended the war by a year or better.

Science & Technology
Are Behavior Medications Related To Murders?
On Saturday, June 4th, Airandee posed a good question that sparked my curiosity.

"How many of these young murders have been on behavior meds ..."

It seems there have been a number of studies, but the findings are not being given the serious attention needed.

A quick skim shows a number of MASS School and Gathering Shooters were being treated.

[CCHRINT] Psychiatric Drugs & Violence—The Facts

Regulatory Warnings on Violence, Mania, Psychosis, Homicide

Fact: Despite 27 international drug regulatory warnings on psychiatric drugs citing effects of mania, hostility, violence and even homicidal ideation, and dozens of high profile shootings/killings tied to psychiatric drug use, there has yet to be a federal investigation on the link between psychiatric drugs and acts of senseless violence.

Fact: At least 37 school shootings and/or school-related acts of violence have been committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 175 wounded and 82 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public—neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed drugs).

Fact: Between 2004 and 2012, there have been 14,773 reports to the U.S. FDA’s MedWatch system on psychiatric drugs causing violent side effects including: 1,531 cases of homicidal ideation/homicide, 3,287 cases of mania & 8,219 cases of aggression. Note: The FDA estimates that less than 1% of all serious events are ever reported to it, so the actual number of side effects occurring are most certainly higher.

School-related acts of violence aren’t the only cases commonly found to be under the influence of psychiatric drugs. There are 28 other acts of senseless violence committed by individuals taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in an additional 270 dead and 164 wounded.

#5

It looks like the "Magic" mental illness cure pills, that allowed the States to empty their Asylums back in the 1980-90's, is not a safe solution.

The Nut-Jobs just quit taking it, and/or the Insurance Companies quit covering it, or the mental Illness eventually exceeds the Magic Pill's abilities.

Maybe reopening and increasing the capacity of State Mental Asylums for Stage 3 and 4 level, needs to be seriously looked at again.

Of course, the (L-S-D's) will fight it.
Because it will put a big dent in their Gun Control efforts.

Plus, it would properly address the growing Immoral/Decadent behavioral displays, which are mental Illness related, not physically / medically based.

#7  This is a STUPID argument. People with mental/emotional issues are found to be taking drugs that help with mental/emotional issues -- as shocking a discovery as finding a cancer patient is on anti-cancer medication. Finding that not everyone is helped by the drugs is as shocking as finding not everyone on cancer medication is helped, as well.

#8  BTW, the organization pushing this story is a Scientology front. Scientology is opposed to all forms of mental/emotional treatment outside the cult. This crap is not promoted with anyone's well-being in mind; it's as poisonous as the LGBTQ+AEIOU garbage.

...A good and needed idea, and one that ain't ever gonna happen.

I and a lot of other people remember when the moves to 'deinstituionalize' started in the late 70s (Way too many people who should know better blame it on Ronald Reagan, which they know isn't true but deflects blame) - real, genuine and horrifying abuses were found, along with the fact that many, many patients were simply being warehoused until they had the decency to die. When the bad news started coming out, almiost every state in the union killed their mental hospital system, promising to bring their carte methods up to date.

Needless to say, that never happened. The money always seemed to end up somewhere else.

Since - for most advocates of the mentally ill - the default setting is that the patients have been/are/will be abused, full open-ended commitment is a fairly rare thing these days. Nothing is going to be done about anyone until they actually commit some atrocity and then are impolite enough to survive the incident...and then, they're going to prison, not anywhere where they can actually get help they should have gotten in the first place. It's far cheaper and easier to deal with the handful of survivors than give them the assistance that might have prevented a disaster.

#11  Rob Crawford, if you listen to the depression medication commercials they always have a warning that a small percentage of folks taking the drug have suicidal thoughts. In other words it doesn't work as expected. What are the chances some have homicidal thoughts?

#12  Paradoxical reactions are a thing. With psych meds, it's a thing to watch closely. Uncontrolled withdrawal from psych meds is a bad deal always.

But they are handed out like candy. Essentially mandated for many boys in elementary school. What a surprise that doesn't go so well...

#13  But they are handed out like candy.

With little followup.

"The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Survey on Drug Use and Health data found that in 2018, 47 million adults over age 18 reported a mental health condition."

@1:5.

#14  And lots of people on various scrip psych drugs go out and trade them for what they really want, which may be other drugs, booze, sex, etc.
Posted by: M. Murcek || 06/06/2022 15:12 Comments || Top||

#15  Most psych drugs have zero value on the recreational market because they have no noticeable effect unless you have the condition they treat. You need massive doses of SSRIs, for example, before you notice an unusual effect, and the result is like a caffeine high you could get cheaper and easier from McDonald's coffee.

The biggest problem is no one bothers to keep an eye on kids who are clearly trouble. The schools milk them for special program money, do the minimum to help them, and never impose discipline because discipline is hard and scary and "male". The police don't pay attention because they're under pressure for revenue enhancement and have to deal with crimes that have happened rather than ones that might happen.

So there's little or no follow-up. Maybe the kid gets sent to a psych by the court or school, maybe gets a prescription for something that MIGHT help. Maybe the kid takes them, maybe not -- you can't be sure whoever has been housing and feeding the kid will make sure they take their meds, because they let problems get that far already.

But "it's those damned drugs" is a cheap, easy answer that appeals to some people's sense of... something. And it's a more appealing conclusion than "bad things happen", I get that.

But bad things happen. Those things aren't always preventable without a police state that would make the East German Stasi think you've gone too far.

#16  Skid, that quote says nothing about "handed out like candy" or follow-up.

#17  Lots of druggies will swallow damn near anything. Lots of bangas will peddle almost anything.

Not saying you are wrong, Rob, nor arguing with you. Just saying there's about nothing rational about that scene.

#18  Then you may as well sell them generic M&Ms.

My mother was taking fentanyl while cancer was killing her. That has street value, and the hospital literally sent someone to make sure the remainder was destroyed. SSRIs and anti-psychotics? Not so much.

#19  There is two years of Covid Response Bullying due, and there is a more aggressive ad stance from both medication and therapy clinics for depression.

#20  Rob Crawford,
I agree with everything you said in #15, but your points don't discredit the initial question in the title to this post, they support that question. You can't give drugs without supervision and follow up, especially to teens.

Most of these shooters are from broken homes as well, another puzzle piece nobody wants to look at, but that doesn't mean the other bits aren't factors as well.
Posted by: ruprecht || 06/06/2022 17:38 Comments || Top||

#21  It should be a simple matter to develop a database with data from each of these mass shootings. Every shooting has facts associated with it that could and should be entered into the database. Some of the facts would be: race, gender, meds found in the shooter's blood, family history of criminal activity, family history of mental problems, the shooter's criminal record, where he bought the gun, what kind of gun, how he paid for the gun, where the shooting took place, how many victims, and on and on.

Once all of this data is organized into proper database tables sql queries could show relationships between the tables, rows and columns. I believe these queries would be highly informative, possibly to the point of suggesting highly effective solutions.

I'd like to believe that the FBI or some other government entity started work on such a project some time ago and, if they did, it would be interesting to see the findings. But, the FBI being the FBI, it's hard to say.

#22  One interesting column in the database would be which president was in office at the time of the shooting.

#23  Not school shooters, but it's worth noting both Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer came from relatively normal upper middle class two parent homes.
