[ToloNews] A convoy with Hafiz Abdul Qayyum, Nuristan's governor, was attacked by unknown button men in Kabul on Sunday morning and one of his bodyguards was killed and another was maimed, Abdul Qayyum confirmed.
The incident happened in the Mahipar area in the east of Kabul city around 7:00 am.
Qayyum said that his bodyguard waa killed in the attack and another one if his bodyguards--who was also his nephew-- was maimed.
He left Nuristan at 2:00 am to come to Kabul for official work.
No group including the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... has grabbed credit for the attack.
[ToloNews] Residents of Arezo, a village in the southern Afghan province of Ghazni, have accused members of the Afghan Special Forces ...established in 2007 with the intent of taking one conventional infantry kandak (battalion) from each of the regional ANA corps, giving them special training and equipment, and reorganizing based on the U.S. Army Rangers. Each battalion is assigned to one of the six regional corps. The commandos comprise 7% of the Afghan National Security Forces but conduct 70% to 80% of the fighting... of extralegal arrests, insults and beating.
The residents on Thursday gathered in the lovely provincial capital Ghazni city to protest their treatment by the Special Forces.
Footage released by a private TV station in Ghazni shows around 100 people from Arezo, a village on the outskirts of Ghazni city gathered in front of the office of the governor where they raised concerns their mistreatment.
"They entered our house at 3:00am, they broke the door, they took our people and tied their hands and took them with them," said a resident of Arezo village of Ghazni.
"They asked us to walk, but we said there is a mine there, then they (forces) ordered us to walk on the mine, they were also using bad words against our mothers and sisters," said Saeedullah, a resident in Arezo village.
"We have no trust in this government, we don’t have trust in the Taliban ...Arabic for students... , both of them destroyed us," said a resident in Arezo village.
Arezo village is located on the Ghazni-Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... border. The area has been under Taliban threat for years.
"Most of the armed opponents fight against the government security forces using the people’s homes and then the security forces are compelled to attack those areas under attack or enter there," said Wahidullah Jumazada, a front man for the Ghazni governor.

NATO should expel Turkey and defend Greece. Turks have always been an enemy of Western Civilization. Not saying NATO members would have the guts to do so but they should if they know what's good for them.

[LIBYAREVIEW] Leaked documents show millions of Euros are being transferred from Libya’s Central Bank to a Ottoman Turkish company named SSTEK. SSTEK Defense Industry Technologies Inc. was established in 2016 as a 100% subsidiary of the Ottoman Turkish Defense Industry. The company established modern companies or partnerships with existing companies to support military development.
The documents showed that the GNA Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, asked the Central Bank Governor Al Sadeeq al-Kabeer to transfer approximately 169 million euros to the SSTEK account.
The Interior Ministry also addressed the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, asking him to cancel a previous letter stating the issuance of a letter of credit. Instead, the governor was requested to transfer 169 million euros directly to the SSTEK account.
The documents also show that the head of the MoI’s financial department, Colonel Mohammed Frada, addressed the head of the CBL’s banking operations, asking him to complete the transfer of the amount to the SSTEK account.
The Head of Libya’s Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, addressed the Interior Minister, stressing that due to the state of emergency in the country, exceptions will be given and imports from SSTEK will be exempted from regular measures.

"Blowing up ISIS hideouts in bucolic locations ultimately results in security in cities and villages," Caggins added.
The coalition spokesperson detailed that each airstrike is conducted "at the request of the Government of Iraq to help achieve a permanent defeat of ISIS," using the Arabic acronym for ISIS.
The coalition stressed that it would continue to "maintain relentless pressure on the terrorist organization."
The alliance was established in 2014 after ISIS faceless myrmidons seized vast swathes of northern Iraq, including Iraq’s second largest city of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... , and threatened to march on Baghdad and Erbil. It has conducted tens of thousands of strikes against ISIS since 2014.
Since the appointment of Mustafa al-Kadhimi as Prime Minister of Iraq, efforts to combat terrorism have seen "increased coordination" between Iraqi security forces and the US-led coalition, Caggins told Rudaw earlier this month.
