Jawid Basharat, a spokesperson for Baghlan Police Headquarters, said the Talibs killed the prayer leader in Dand-e Ghori district of Baghlan.
Bashar further added that the Lions of Islam tortured the prayer leader by brutally beating him.
He also added that the prayer leader succumbed to the injuries which he had sustained due to the brutal beating and torture by Talibs.

Baghlan is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan where Talibs have active presence in some of its remote districts.
