[NYPOST] The ex-con charged with stomping an Asian man into a coma in Harlem claimed the victim attacked him first — and that video of the stomach-churning assault was "a whole lot of bulls—t."
"Nah, nah, nah," Jarrod Powell replied when asked why he allegedly kicked Yao Pan Ma, 61, in the caught-on-camera attack on Friday. "I was maced. I was maced and attacked."
The 49-year-old career criminal then added while being hauled into Manhattan criminal court in handcuffs, "Well, the video will tell you a whole lot of bulls—t.
"Him and a couple of other Asians maced me — robbed me."
Powell, who has at least 15 prior busts dating back to 1988, was held on $100,000 cash bail at his Tuesday night arraignment on four hate crime charges.
The victim in the attack, an out-of-work Chinese immigrant, was collecting cans at Third Avenue and 125th Street to help make ends meet when he was stomped last week.
The attack left Ma’s wife, Baozhen Chen, fearing her husband won’t recover from his medically induced coma — and demanding justice for the father of her two children.
"I am very worried my husband will not make it," Chen told The Post on Sunday.
The attack on Ma came amid a recent spike in hate attacks targeting Asian Americans.

Going to hit pause here for a second. It is interesting how these media outlets over the last 15 years have created their very own, extremely racist, and unique prose in what was an attempt to be 'race neutral' into 'there is no violent people but white people'.
Running this victimhood hierarchy theory as a writer's jenga must be maddening. Probably a leading cause to the depression, drug abuse, sexual assault, and anxiety problems of those working the media fronts. "Two and two does equal five you hater!" but don't dare run that to their drug pimp.

MOSCOW, April 29. / TASS /. Three divisions of the Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces), after a surprise check, returned from Crimea to their permanent deployment points. This was reported on Thursday at a meeting at the National Center for Defense Management (NTSUO) of the Russian Federation, the commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov.
"The personnel of the 7th, 76th and 98th divisions, involved in a surprise check at the ranges of the Southern Military District in the Republic of Crimea, are concentrated in the points of permanent deployment," he said.
According to him, the transportation of their weapons, military and special equipment by military train trains will be completed by May 12.
In turn, the commander of the Northern Fleet, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, reported that "the return of the Northern Fleet units that took part in the surprise check of the troops of the Western Military District has been completed, the troops have arrived at their permanent deployment points."
The servicemen of the Southern Military District (YuVO), who were involved in the verification check, will return to their places of permanent deployment by May 1. "The return of the personnel of the 58th Army's formations and military units will be completed by May 1, and its armament and military equipment - in accordance with the established schedule," General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, commander of the Southern Military District, noted.
The meeting at the NTSUO was chaired by the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov.

The breakaway republics do this every spring -- express fears of a Ukrainian invasion of the republics -- and the Ukrainians play right into it, by expressing their fears of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Every spring.
The only difference this time is who is in change at the White House.
Mark my words. By March 2022, the same fears of a Russian invasion of Ukraine will rise again to the top, Russia will deploy her divisions, wait 45 days and then go home.

[IsraelTimes] Germany’s domestic intelligence agency will monitor leading protesters against COVID restrictions, the interior ministry says, over concerns they pose a threat to democracy and have ties to right-wing extremism.
The monitoring will focus on members of Germany’s "Querdenker" (Lateral Thinkers) movement, which has emerged as the loudest voice against coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... curbs and an active promoter of conspiracy theories that deny basic facts about the pandemic.
Some protest organizers "have clearly demonstrated that their agenda goes beyond simply mobilizing protests against the government’s corona measures," a ministry statement says.
Their main aim appears to be to "permanently undermine trust in state institutions and their representatives," it adds.
They are also suspected of seeking links with right-wing holy warriors such as "Reichsbuerger" (Citizens of the Reich) who question the legitimacy of the modern Federal Republic of Germany, and of spreading antisemitic messages and QAnon myths, the ministry says.
The holy warriors encourage supporters to ignore official orders and challenge the state monopoly on the use of force, it adds.
[AnNahar] La Belle France on Wednesday detained seven former members of left-wing Italian Death Eater group the Red Brigades who have long been sought by Rome in what was billed as a diplomatic olive branch by President Emmanuel Macron.
La Belle France has been a haven for Red Brigades figures from the 1970s and 80s that are feted in left-wing intellectual circles in Gay Paree, since the presidency of Socialist leader Francois Mitterrand.
The so-called Mitterrand Doctrine, adopted in 1985, offered protection to the bandidosDeath Eaters providing they renounced violence and were not wanted in Italia for murder or other "crimes of blood."
A statement from the French presidency said Macron had authorised the detention of seven former Red Brigades figures, while another three were being actively sought.
Without naming them, the statement said they were wanted for the "most serious crimes" but it made clear that Macron had not renounced the Mitterrand Doctrine.
"La Belle France, also affected by terrorism, understands the absolute necessity of providing justice for victims," the statement said.
"With this transfer, it is also part of the urgent need to build a Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... of justice in which mutual confidence must be at the centre."
Ultra-leftist groups like the Red Brigades sowed chaos during the period in Italia known as the "Years of Lead" -- named after the number of bullets fired -- from the late 1960s to mid-1980s.
The Red Brigades were the most notorious and were blamed for hundreds of murders, including the kidnapping and killing of Christian Democrat leader and former prime minister Aldo Moro in 1978.
- DIPLOMATIC TENSIONS -
The presence of hundreds of figures in La Belle France who are wanted by Italia for murder, kidnappings and property damage has caused tensions between the two neighbours for decades.
In 2019, far-right interior minister Matteo Salvini said he would write to Macron "to ask him to stop allowing Lions of Islam who have massacred Italians to be free to drink champagne."
Relations between La Belle France and Italia were at a historic low at the time over a range of issues, but Macron sees new Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi as a close pro-EU ally.

"Since the 1980s, these people have been under the protection of La Belle France. They've remade their lives here for 30 years in the full view and knowledge of everyone, with their children and their grandchildren .. and then in the early morning, they come looking for them, 40 years after the facts," she said.
She said that her clients would appeal against their detention and extradition.
La Belle France has extradited individual left-wing bandidosDeath Eaters and Red Brigades figures in the past.
President Jacques Chirac broke with the Mitterrand Doctrine by authorising the extradition of university lecturer Paolo Persichetti, who was linked to the Brigades, in 2002.
Convicted murderer Maurizio Locusta was tracked down and extradited in 1987.

I just had my 2nd cataract removed & replaced with a prosthetic lens. Nurse anesthetist told me I got 50 micrograms of fentanyl as part of my treatment. No pain during surgery, although I did hear the surgeon talking from time to time. Otherwise no memory of the procedure. I haven't felt that good in 70 years! San Francisco-based Iterable reportedly sent out a memo to staff on Monday announcing that co-founder Justin Zhu was fired for violating company policy, but Zhu told Bloomberg on Tuesday that the board ousted him for taking the psychedelic before a meeting in 2019.
Zhu told Bloomberg he was experimenting by taking a small amount of the psychedelic, or microdosing, to boost his focus. A representative for Iterable did not return the New York Post’s request for comment.

Zhu, who previously worked at Google and Twitter, co-founded Iterable in 2013 along with Andrew Boni. By Wednesday morning, Iterable had removed Justin Zhu from the leadership team listed on its website and named Andrew Boni CEO.
Boni reportedly said in the memo to staff that Zhu’s not only violated the company’s "policies and values," but his "behavior also undermined the board’s confidence in Justin’s ability to lead the company going forward."
