Previously Deported Criminal Illegal Alien Shoots 3 D.C. Police Officers Serving Warrant For Animal Cruelty
[WIRE] A man arrested in Washington, D.C., two weeks ago for allegedly shooting multiple police officers who were responding to a call at his residence is a previously deported criminal illegal alien.

Stephen Claude Rattigan, 48, opened fire on officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) on Valentine’s Day when they served an outstanding arrest warrant at his home related to a 2023 incident involving animal cruelty. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) says that he "was captured by a security camera beating one of his dogs several times in the face."

Rattigan, also known as Julius James, is a Jamaican national who has a criminal history dating back to 1995, including larceny and drug charges, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told The Daily Wire.

Rattigan allegedly shot three police officers at his home and then barricaded himself inside the residence for more than 12 hours. After he was arrested, 31 dogs were removed from his residence.

Federal prosecutors charged Rattigan with assault with intent to kill while armed, assault on a police officer while armed, and possession of a firearm during a crime.
At least he wasn't parading inside the Capitol on Jan 6th!
ICE has lodged a detainer request against Rattigan to have him transferred into their custody "once his time is served" so he can be once again deported.

Rattigan was deported from the U.S. in 2001 but later illegally re-entered the country at an unknown date and unknown location.

Reporter Julio Rosas was the first to report that Rattigan was an illegal alien.

Florida cops hunt gunman who opened fire outside school with an Uzi automatic pistol
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Florida cops are hunting down a gunman who opened fire outside a school with an Uzi automatic pistol.

Jahfahree Prince Edwards, 24, fired shots towards several teenager during a fight down the road from Spoto High School in Riverview, Hillsborough County.

The conflict between two girls led to one of them calling the gunman to the scene on February 14. Edwards then turned up at around 4pm and began firing.

He can be seen wearing a hoodie in video released by the police, holding the weapon in his right hand as a group of teens enter two cars.

The gunman then runs across the sidewalk and pulls the Uzi out, as terrified students run for cover.

After returning to fire the weapon from the road, Edwards is then seen fleeing the area, still carrying the gun in the shooting position.

Edwards is wanted for four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

Texas cops release harrowing footage of moment they confront armed boy, 16, who threatened to shoot up Mesquite school
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] 19 rounds fired, minor injuries.
Texas cops have released harrowing bodycam footage of the moment they confronted an armed boy who threatened to shoot up a school in Mesquite, Texas.

The new video showed officers negotiated with the unidentified suspect, 16, after they were dispatched to Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy on February 19.

The assistant principal of the school called 911 at 8.49am and told the dispatcher that the male student came into her office with a gun and refused to put it down.

'I'm the assistant principal and a student just pulled a gun. I need someone here now. I am with him. He's fine. I'm calming him down. I need you to get someone here now,' the administrator said on the newly-released 911 call.

Once police arrived, they approached the office, and told the vice principal to leave as they tried to negotiate with the 16-year-old boy. As they spoke to him, the boy was seen reaching down before cops fired their guns.

A total of three officers fired 19 shots at the student - who did not fire his weapon.

In the 911 call, the assistant principal tells the dispatcher that she is going to put the school on lockdown, as her voice shakes and she tries to remain calm.

'He's just standing, he won't put the gun down,' she told the dispatcher.

The administrator then repeatedly tells the student: 'Uh uh no. No! Put it down! No! Put it down, no! Put it back on the floor!'

Within two minutes, the first officer arrived at the school as the campus was placed on lockdown before two others joined him.

They soon located the administrators office and saw her in the doorway speaking to the young boy.

She quickly briefed the officers on what was happening before they told her to leave the office.

The officer, with his gun drawn, then approached the officer and says to the boy: 'What's going on today buddy?'

'Can you talk to us?'

The boy does not respond as the officer proceeds to say: 'We would like to help you, that's why we're here.'

'Is anything upset you today? Can you listen to me closely? Please do not reach for that gun,' the officer says.

'We don't want anything to happen to you or anyone else. Can you do that for me?'

The student continues to remain quiet as the officer says: 'What has upset you today? Maybe we can talk about it.'

The angel of the bodycam footage then changed as the student is seen sitting in a chair inside the office.

'We just need you to step away from the gun buddy. You're not in trouble, okay?'

'We just need you to step away so we--,' an officer says before the student bends down and attempts to grab something from his bag on the floor.

Officers then fire their guns at the student as the officer door stars to close. When they open it back up, the student is seen standing with a gun in his hand before the cops shoot again.

In a press release, the police said that the student then 'complied with commands and was taking into custody' before he was taken to a local hospital.

The Dallas Morning News reported that the student's legs were wounded in the gunfire and that police are unsure if he was shot or hit by shrapnel.

The student's identity has not been released because he is a juvenile. A Rossi 38 special revolver was recovered by investigators from the boy.

Police said he was taken to a Dallas County juvenile detention facility and charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and exhibition of a firearm.

Witnesses who were interviewed said that the student came to school that day with 'intentions of harming others,' police said, but did not elaborate further.

No other injuries were reported and two of the three officers involved were veterans, while one was an officer-in-training, the press release said.

The school was searched by officers after the incident and the remaining students were taken to a nearby church and released to family members.

'We are grateful that this incident resulted in no injuries to other students, faculty members, or any officers. Mesquite Police would like to commend the actions of administrators during this event and the school’s adherence to the standard response protocol,' the press release said.

'These actions along with the immediate response from the Mesquite Police and Fire Departments ensured this outcome was not the tragedy that it could have been.'

#1  19 shots and not even one hit?

The way that they were talking to him, the kid didn't think they were serious. The officer speaking had zero command presence and the kid figured nothing would happen if he pulled his gun.

Blaze News investigative writer Steve Baker says FBI wants him to self-surrender Friday in Dallas over his Jan. 6 reporting
[Blaze] Baker told Blaze News he's been instructed to turn himself in at the agency's field office at 7 a.m. wearing "shorts and sandals" — which he said signals that the plan likely is to go for "humiliation" and place him in an orange jumpsuit, handcuff him, and do the "prisoner transport routine."

He added that after he's taken to the Dallas courthouse, he'll appear at a 10 a.m. hearing before a federal magistrate.

"They didn’t have to go this route," Baker told Blaze News on Tuesday evening. "We have been told that my charges are only misdemeanors. And my attorneys have been assured that this will be an ’in and out’ affair with 'no intention' to detain me. But rather than issuing a simple order to appear, they went the 'arrest warrant' route."

What's more, Baker said he still does not know what the charges against him are, noting to Blaze News that the powers that be won't tell his attorney about the charges because they believe Baker will post them on social media.

Baker's Dallas attorney, James Lee Bright, added to Blaze News that withholding the nature of the charges against his client is a "really unusual" move. Bright also said he's hoping to get a copy of the complaint against Baker as early as possible Friday morning.

Baker also said his legal team was told there was no request to the court for detention, no need for bail, and the expectation is that he'll be released after the proceedings. Bright told Blaze News that he anticipates Friday's hearing to be simple.

"We do not know if there will be pretrial travel restrictions, although that has been the norm for J6 defendants — even for misdemeanor defendants," Baker also said. "It has also been universal that no J6ers are allowed to travel to Washington, D.C., which for obvious reasons will have a deleterious impact on my work. We also do not know if there will be any other accompanying restrictions or orders: gag order from talking about my case, no social media, limited social media, order to surrender devices and/or firearms. All unknowns."

TchadOne: group of military officers is trying to take control of the presidential palace in Chad
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A group of military personnel is trying to take control of the presidential palace in the capital of Chad, N'Djamena, reports the local publication TchadOne on the social network X.

The material notes that both sides suffered losses as a result of the clashes.

Earlier in the day, the movement of tanks and armored vehicles in N'Djamena was reported. Government forces stormed the headquarters of the opposition Socialist Party Without Borders (PSF) led by Yaya Dillo, cousin of transitional president Mahamat Idriss Déby.

In addition, the government reported an attack on the Chadian National Security Directorate, which resulted in several deaths. Authorities blamed the attack on the PSF but said the situation was under control.

As Regnum reported, in April 2021, in Chad, the father of the current current head of the republic, Idriss Debi Itno, who led the country for about 30 years, was re-elected president. On election day, rebels from the Front for Change and Accord in Chad invaded Chad from bases in Libya and managed to fatally wound the president before government forces crushed them.

After this, Mahamat Idriss Déby led Chad, becoming the head of the transitional military council. However, the rebels refused to recognize him. Chad adopted a new constitution in December 2023 that allows Mahamat Idriss Déby to run for president, but an election date has not yet been set.

In January 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the president of the transitional African republic in Moscow, said that Russia was closely monitoring what was happening in Chad. He expressed confidence that the elections will be held at a high level.

Bob Iger Quietly Dumped a Massive Amount of His Disney Stock As Showdown With Nelson Peltz Nears
[Red State] Disney CEO Bob Iger isn't having the best time being the captain of a sinking ship. It's pretty clear that turning the once shining beacon of American ingenuity and entertainment into a cesspool of radical leftism and uninspired dreck has taken a toll on him.

Moreover, the man is now in a fight against Nelson Peltz and Trian Partners for what would amount to control of the company and it's not looking good. Especially since Peltz has the backing of people like former Marvel CEO Ike Pearlmutter and Elon Musk.

(READ: The Siege on Disney Intensifies As Elon Musk and Nelson Peltz Seem to Be Teaming Up)

Indications that trouble is on the horizon come in many forms but it would appear that Iger's faith in Disney isn't too hot either as he's dumped 80 percent of his stock.

According to Insidethemagic.net, Iger's been shedding Disney stock rapidly over the last year:

Food stamps: Montana March SNAP payments worth up to $1,751 to begin in three days
[Washington Examiner] Montana’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will begin sending its March payments, worth up to $1,751, in three days.

SNAP payments in Montana are distributed over five days every month. The payments start going out on Saturday and run through March 6. Recipients get their payments on days according to their SNAP case number, account number, Social Security number, or last name.

To qualify for SNAP payments in Montana, a single-person household cannot have a net monthly income exceeding $1,215, and an eight-person household cannot have a net monthly income exceeding $4,214.

Household sizes determine recipients’ SNAP payment amounts. Single-person households receive $291 per month, while eight-person households receive up to $1,751 per month. In households larger than eight, $219 is added for each additional person.

SNAP benefits can be used at participating locations, including farmers markets and grocery stores. The payments are automatically loaded on an electronic benefits transfer card every month.

#4  I am reminded of a case from the very rural central valley of California in the mid-1990's, involving a gas station/convenience store, owned by Middle Eastern immigrants, that had a low six-figure monthly Food Stamp reimbursement cash flow. Then CalDOJ Bureau of Narcotics agents were involved in the investigation and take-down. They reported that the actual foodstuffs and merchandise was mostly out of date, mostly convenince snack foods, and shelf stockage behind the retail floor was small and virtually empty of basic family diet menu items.

The going rate for food stamp fraud varied between 50-60 cents on the dollar for food stamp charges, returned as cash to the indigent for non-existent "food". The connection to local, family related drug dealers was so apparent, they shared banking locations and addresses.

Trump may have ‘inside straight' to beat all cases, Megyn Kelly says after Supreme Court and Fani Willis developments
[Washington Examiner] Megyn Kelly marveled at the latest "incredible" developments in the several legal cases former President Donald Trump is facing.

The Supreme Court agreed on Wednesday to consider an emergency petition by Trump in which he claims he is immune from charges over actions taken while in office. The high court’s move thus delays criminal proceedings in his election subversion case.

"With the Trump immunity case being accepted by SCOTUS & what’s happening in Georgia, Trump may well have pulled the inside straight he needed to beat these cases," Kelly wrote on X. "NY is a joke. GA is dying/severely delayed. FL ain’t happening b/4 Nov. And now, neither is J6 DC case. Incredible."

During her SiriusXM The Megyn Kelly Show on Wednesday, Kelly also blasted the testimony of Terrence Bradley, an attorney who previously worked with Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor hired in the Georgia racketeering case against Trump.

Wade is at the center of conflict of interest accusations concerning an undisclosed romantic relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Hearings are currently being held over whether Willis should be disqualified from the racketeering case.

Kelly explained she obtained text messages claimed to be between Bradley and Ashleigh Merchant, an attorney for Trump co-defendant Mike Roman. Kelly shared some of the texts in which Merchant allegedly conversed with Bradley during the preparation of a motion court filing, saying, "I am shocked [Willis] paid [Wade] so much. How did they think they wouldn’t get caught!!!" Bradley’s alleged response was then quoted to be: "Arrogance."
