#1 Very few Brits Scotts Irish are cool with the invasion and replacement. European Weannies arent cool with the invasion either. They will tell you, they are powerless to stop it. They are not able to vote themselves out of it. It's not so much a society that lost its way, but a society that is victim and powerless to their overlord's wishes.
