#1 He believes that his strong record of malfeasance and corruption deserves promotion. We will see if California rewards him. My gut tells me that he will not make out of the primary, but my recent prediction record is spotty at best. It will be interesting to see if he has a primary opponent for his district.

#3 The hell of it is, in a state like California and with the media refusing to report his many misdeeds, he might win. In fact, I would predict at this point that he will win.

#5 There is no bright side to it. Feinstein is old and out of it. Schifferbrains is young, energetic and ambitious. But on top of that he is totally unscrupulous...well, he's a Democrat. That's bad.

They'll vote for him in Los Angeles. If he can get Pelosi and Newsom to support him, they'll vote for him in the Bay Area too.

Yes, it does make me ashamed to be a Californian.

#6 With the amount of graft available at the Senate level, there will likely be a host of challengers. California politics is sort of like Saruman’s orc spawning pool. Don’t discount the possibility that a more despicable candidate might emerge. Their district attorney farm system is top flight. Kamala Harris is a generational talent, but there are still some up and comers working on their craft at through that system. The mayoral pipeline is also robust.

#7 I’d say the odds are against him. Running against 3 womyns including a POC from Oakland and law professor from purpling OC. While a soy boy, don’t think a white male in his 60s has much of a chance in Wokeville. As a recovering Californian, sad to see my home circle the drain.
