#2 Oops! Glad they didn't lose anybody over the side.

#3 Somewhere on the Teddy, a Line Chief, Line Branch O, Maintenance Chief and Squadron CO, probably others, are looking for new jobs. Airplanes just don’t blow over the side. Doubtful that somebody stole all the tiedown chains.
But at least we got pronouns.

#5 "I thought *you* tied it down!"

One would think the US Navy would have procedures for operating reliably in rough weather. Perhaps as part of their global warming initiative...

#6 I would call it a Sea Dart, but Convair already used that name. And theirs floated….

#10 sailor ... minor injuries ... expected to make a full recovery,

"Well, alright then."

It's unclear if the aircraft has been recovered or if recovery efforts are underway.

"Goddamn it, son, you think you coulda led with that?!"

#11 Based on of what I’ve been reading in here for years, I tough that the Russians were lousy sailors. ….another lie I suppose.

#12 ^ No Joe, just pronouns take precedents over proper procedures.. That's a major problem with having a 'woke' military.

#13 Quote from the US Navy on the event:
"an F/A-18 Super Hornet assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, embarked aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), blew overboard due to unexpected heavy weather in the Mediterranean Sea."

Wow, maybe our Navy should consider getting the Weather.Com app on their phone? Or the Weather Channel on their Sat TV? Then those big waves might not be UNEXPECTED!

#14 Who cares if it was a loss of combat capability and let an expensive warplane blow over the side... At least the correct pronouns will be used when trying to blame someone... him/her/they/zhi/zim/whim/prim/qui...
