#1 Like I've suggested before, the deep state (really globalist) has alternative non-taxpayer funding mechanisms (some of their companies are named (1nt3l) and some of the tech companies kit is mass surveillance spin offs (googol) and the "winners" were picked by them after illegally spying on their own citizens.

Primary reason why folks like Alexander are hired by the private sector, a harvesting of the rolodex. Alexander has been described as an 'idea a minute' guy. He's extremely intuitive and also a contemporary of Mike Flynn. He led the early efforts at streamlining (or making flat and accessible) the intelligence community networks.

If I were Amazon, I pay him whatever he asked.
