#2 Considering the Scots get the lion's share of money from the UK for social programs, it would benefit England to kick them to the curb. The Scots might want to rethink this. The EU sure as fuck isn't going to give them as much money.

#4 Do they know they would have to fund their own social programs, military, and, now that Brexit has happened, customs, immigration, and border patrol? I think they have completely overlooked all of this and think that they will be able to foist all of this off on England still.

#6 Scotland is hoping that EU muscle will give them the North Sea oil they claim. That oil is the only way Scotland can escape being a permanent welfare case. At least that's my understanding.

If they get independence but not the North Sea Oil they'll be a Celtic version of Greece.
