#1 Between the flood, the temperature, and the storm those ranchers are really getting their asses kicked.

Last I saw, some 21 communities have been evacuated.

Carry restrictions have been suspended in an effort to save as many cows as possible and introduce relief supplies and equipment.

Agriculture community is as all over this as the MSM is not; want to help contact your local Ag Community group such as 4-H for suggestion. A lot of volunteer work is getting into the act, but operating equipment still costs money so even monetary donations are greatly appreciated.

Its a mess. Watch out downriver.

#2 Beautiful camera on an amazing drone. Nice camera work.

Wonder why the dam failed?

#3 Yes, the drone photography is super.

If it's not already spoken for, can I have the air compressor in the dam control building ?

#4 Yes, though odd music.

I have not heard why the dam failed; no news coverage even locally.

Wicked storm, saturated/frozen ground. Looks like river ice up on the road so guessing flow over the top.

#5 It's called a bomb tornado...
50+ mph windshear gusts at ground level with snow and sleet broke up the dam's surface ice into massive icebergs that slammed into the dam face.

#6 Downriver could end up worse. The river runs into the Missouri. Then it flows by the Brownsville nuclear reactor that has been sandbagging like crazy. Kansas City better hope that the spent fuel rod cooling ponds are protected.

#7 Different part of that storm, but we got 40+mph sustained with airports reporting gusts to 70mph, not just one or two big ones but fairly frequent.

Saw a deal that Nebraska has 79,000 miles of waterway and it is all flooding. Levies breaking all over.
