#3 Yes, and watch parking fees and fines for violations go thru the roof. Here's a great opportunity for a startup: People who will take your car for a wash or service while you are doing business in an area where there is no place to park.

#5 California politicians have been talking about affordable housing, and the lack thereof, for as long as I can remember and yet housing in California's coastal communities is more expensive now than it ever has been. The housing crisis of which they speak is every bit as much of a hoax as global warming or climate change or whatever they're calling it these days and invented for the same purpose: to use as an excuse to control peoples' lives and create graft. If you can't afford to live in San Diego, my advice is to try your luck somewhere else.
