#2 Bogra. A pak major general held out there for two weeks against the Bahini during the Bangladesh Independence war. He was a brave man, about the ONLY pak general in that war who didn't run away. The Bahini got him alive.( ambushed his jeep ) Broke both his arms and fractured his skull taking him down. The Indian Gurkhas finally took the town two days before the surrender.
The man was a fighter. Led the troops himself. The paks had one good general out of about 35. The rest were cowards and ran. One man fought. Bogra. road network hub rail line hub and three local airports within 20 miles. Took 2 Indian divisions to nail it. The General's name was Malik. Admirable man even if he was a Moslem prick.
