#2 The same testimony revealed that [in the opinion of those testifying] the mortar rounds that killed the former SEALS, were fired by trained professionals.

Operators are providing testimony. Decision makers are nowhere to be found. Quite revealing I'd say.

#4 The witnesses are contractors. At worst (for now) is that they will be barred from any future government work. The 'civil servants' are the ones who face prosecution if they say anything.

Another non-mention in tonight's news would be the fact that the racist, apartheid leadership of South Africa was (and remains) the only country with a fully developed nuclear capability that disassembled and destroyed it. And as it happened, a wise move it was. All just prior to their attainment of non-pluralist democracy.
