#2 I find it interesting that Bloomers backed down on the marathon after getting so much bad pub.

Mike Greenberg on the ESPN Mike & Mike show which I like to watch absolutely ripped him a new one every day on the issue. Very popular totally non-political radio/TV sports show may have been the proverbial straw in this case.
