#1 The Muslim tyrants realize that such funerals are target rich environments for their enemies, so take the opportunity to open fire on them.

Were we to do something similar, it would probably be payback with something like a truck bomb, wiping out hundreds and wounding hundreds more, with no claim of responsibility.
