#3 Pakistan..North-West Frontier Province & Districts

[for the newbie lurkers]
Swat is located in top yellow "district", Dir is on the left adjacent to Swat..

Yes US combat troops are in A-stan but are not hunkered down in Pakistan in a trench engaged in a traditional "front" war with the bearded rag-headed rabble.

Our tactics are mobile ones, WE Shoot and Scoot, Gather lots of Intel rather quickly and then act on it with surprise attacks...
Mostly we perform offensive actions within Afghanistan, while the A-stani police and soldiers do police work and guard work.

Our Combat troops also perform Miracles, like train Afghani troops, help build schools, infrastructure etc. Gawd Bless 'em!

we the USA, also have Special Forces in Afghanistan who do all sorts of Neat Mysterious Stuff!

BUT I would be hung from the tallest tree at the Rantburg Ranch if I spilled the beans. [righty so btw]

FACT: We have some members of Rantburg who know what's really going on with the Special Forces in A-stan! shhhhh...

Pakistani soldiers are stationed in Swat Pakistan and Dir Pakistan and fronting up against the Talibs and "fighting" them sort of, well dying might be more accurate than fighting.. .
