#2 Heh. This reminds me of a friend of mine. He was doing some pyrotechnics work in the states and decided to take a gig in Canada. Got stopped by the Candians. To make a long story short, the ordeal ended when it, literally, blew up in one of the agents faces.

#3 Potassium nitrate in quantity? No doubt he was troubled by overactive masculinity. What a pity potassium nitrate isn't actually effective for the purpose... and now he'll be locked away from any possibility of remedy, poor man. Wasn't it St. Paul who said, " 'Tis better to marry than explode?"

#5 I had picked up this story last night as it was breaking and am pretty familiar with the area. The guy was apparently buying chemicals in bulk and reselling them for a profit.

However, this guy had a criminal record but was apparently also operating a charity and ministry out of the house as well. The bulk of the chemicals were found at a storage facility nearby.
