#1 Poseurs. If they issue licenses for hunting bears with hand weapons (spears, knives, axes) then I will be impressed. Shooting a bear at 100 yards proves nothing but the quality of your equipment.

I guess that shows what you know about bear hunting! Nothing. Most bear hunting in PA is done from tree stands or ground blinds at very close range. Personally, when I used to hunt bear (black/brown) I used a handgun, on the ground, over bait.
