#1 It's more local. One of the things the state does is honor the survivors with their own license plate.

#3 The local media is all over Pearl Harbor, but there's no mention of it here. Which is especially strange considering that the guy was born in Hawaii.

#6 San Diego News stations and papers had Pearl Harbor stories. But this is a Military town so kinda expected here.
