#4 The shooter is a 15-year-old white male according to the latest reports. He was shooting people on a walking path in the greenbelt adjacent to the neighborhood. The suspect "was taken into custody with life-threatening injuries. It is unknown if the suspect's injuries are self-inflicted."

I think the scenario is pretty self evident.

#1 - Why the ATF, etc?

The local mayor is a gun-grabber Progressive. From her campaign website, she wants to "make Raleigh an inclusive, welcoming, and equitable city". (2/3 of the DEI progressive credo)

Judging from her press conference, where she could not resist saying "We must do something about gun violence" before the bodies were even cold, she is trying to politicize this for the election to drive up Dem/Prog turnout.

She is a typical progressive, rolling in the blood of the victims to promote her progressive agenda.
