#1 reports are in that explain the recent Russian missile and UAV attacks on civilian target clusters

the reason is that these Russian weapons have proved ineffective in battlefield use so they might just as well be used to target civilian infrastructure

#2 Russian invaders continue to take Ukrainian children out of the occupied territories.

That certainly sounds like a dick move. But a sentence later, we learn the territory in question is Kherson, starting around October. Lots of fighting in the area back then, with the Ukrainians actively shelling the city and surrounding infrastructure. (Or the Russians shelling their own stuff to make it look like the Ukrainians are doing it, however you come down on that)

Said another way, the Russians are moving kids out of an active war zone. Probably a good idea. But if you say it with just the right words it sounds terrible.

In other news, the Russians just announced they are evacuating civilians from Kherson due to a build-up of Ukrainian forces that make an attack seem imminent.

Watching this war play out in the media space as well as on the battlefield is fascinating. Also fascinating is how much better the Ukrainians are at media war.
