#4 Any business that depends on advertising will be suffering until consumer spending increases, and that increase is nowhere to be seen. Over-the-air broadcasting is another such. If US consumer spending maintains a long-term lower level, many other businesses, like retail clothing, tourism, airlines will suffer greatly and many will go out of business.
