#1 Moslem books? Old Moslem books ?

So?

Somewhere in an old souk. Tell me where poor Bashir got hit and was it bad or just a flesh wound.\? Was he wearing a fez at the time, or a turban?

#2 I suspect some of you will have visited this interesting looking place, but for those of us who haven't: It looks like a librairie run by a book hoarder than a library per se. Think Beckham's in teh bazaar: whitewashed vaults and cubbyholes stacked with dusty piles of books from who knows where. Moslem stuff, sure, but the background on one website shows some Will and Ariel Durant, among other Western things. Most of the stock appears to have been wrapped in clear plastic. I think the proprietor may be a little nutty (beyond the obvious). Or just fatalistic?

You really are a rote-idiot, ain'tcha Hemingway?

he kept on talking about what kind of books one can find in the library, he stated some examples such as mythological books, all kind of references for a literature or other PhD, magic books (even though he mentioned that he doesn't like magic books, he considered them As spoiler type of knowledge, but he also said that he respects all opinions, some people are interested in this and he doesn't interfere)

Yeah, he's kinda nutty. But no worse than some of the book hoarders I've met elsewhere, like in Hong Kong (think three apartments'-worth.)

Missed that (as former hoarder and bookshop-haunter myself, I tore off down memory lane as soon as I saw the pics). Wonder if he had the holy fire and such in mind. Gotta dig up a history of practical magic (as opposed to modern showbiz stuff).
