Afghanistan
Hizb-e-Islami Member Claims Torture in US Detention
[ToloNews] Tarakhel was 36 when he was arrested and transported to Guantanamo Bay prison by US forces.

Hamdullah Tarakhel, a member of the Gulbuddin Hekmatyar
... who used to be known in intelligence circles as The Most Evil Man in the World but who now seems merely run-of-the-mill evil...
-led Hizb-e-Islami, was recently released from Guantanamo Bay prison and claims that he was brutally tortured by the US forces in the facility.

Tarakhel, 54, spent 18 years of his life in prison. He was arrested by the US forces back in 2002 from the Qargha area of Kabul.

"I was under heavy supervision," said Hamullah Tarakhil talking to TOLOnews. "My hands were locked in chains even when I was in the toilet."

He suggested that the current war in Afghanistan should be resolved through negotiations and peaceful means, but not further war.

"There should be no more war among Afghans...The Afghan government should tell the US that it’s not able to fight for them anymore," added Tarakhil.

He also stated that the presence of US forces in Afghanistan created obstacles in the way of the grinding of the peace processor.

"The nation disagrees with the presence of the aliens in the country. For me, the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
are not fighting against the government, their war is against the US and that’s why they are insisting to talk with the US." Added Tarakhel.

"I remember the night they arrested my father," said Ahmadullah, Tarakhel’s youngest son, who was five when US forces arrested his father in front of his eyes eighteen years ago.

Tarakhel was arrested on charges of having contact with terrorist groups.

One of his sons was maimed in the operation that led to his arrest back in 2002.

Taliban's Top Leaders Meet in Quetta: Sources
[ToloNews] Currently, the two main topics being discussed within the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
leadership are a ceasefire and a reduction of violence, sources say.

Members of the Taliban’s leadership are meeting the group’s top leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada in the Pak city of Quetta and they are discussing a potential ceasefire with the US, sources familiar with the talks said on Wednesday.

A delegation from the Taliban’s office in Doha is also participating at the meeting so that it can brief the US side in Doha after taking a final decision about the ceasefire, said the source.

It's almost a week that a delegation from the Taliban’s office in Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. led by Mawlavi Shahabuddin Delwar held backdoor meetings with the group’s top leadership in Pakistain to coordinate the views between their leadership about a ceasefire.

"Discussions are underway to decide whether the ceasefire will be a short term or a permanent one, however a final decision has yet to be taken," said Sayed Akbar Agha, a former Taliban commander.

Meanwhile a source familiar with talks in Doha has said that the US has told the Taliban that it will not sign a peace agreement unless an agreement is reached on a ceasefire and the reduction of violence.

"The US special envoy is still waiting on the Taliban’s decision on the issue of reduction of violence and the ceasefire, it seems that the US will not sign a peace accord with the group unless they agree on reducing violence and accepting the ceasefire," said Sami Yousufzai, a freelance journalist in Doha.

Meanwhile in Kabul the Afghan government is also trying to finalize a peace-negotiating delegation as part of efforts to broker the intra-Afghan talks once the US and the Taliban sign the peace deal.

"The Afghan government has considered the principle of consultation as a key element in forming an inclusive peace negotiating delegation--the peace negotiating team will be inclusive to make sure that it can represent the people of Afghanistan in a comprehensive way," said Naji Anwari, spokeswoman for the State Ministry on Peace Affairs.

ISI-ISIS sponsored suicide bombings will target Indian missions in Afghanistan
I s’pose if One India is reporting it, your lot already know, Dron66046. Happy hunting!
[KhaamaPress] An Intelligence Bureau report has said that there is a plot that has been hatched to bomb the Indian missions in Afghanistan, OneIndia reported on Wednesday.

The report further states that the ISI has tasked the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
in Afghanistan to carry out the bombings. The ISIS in Afghanistan has a large number of Indians. Most of the Indians who are part of the ISIS Khorasan in Afghanistan are from Kerala.

The report says that the attacks are being coordinated in Pakistain and are being overseen by one Saifullah who is a native of Lahore. The report also says that the attacks would be in the nature of a suicide kaboom and 5 persons have been trained for the operation, OneIndia reported.

Back in February 2010, an Indian guest house in Kabul downtown was stormed by explosions and murderous Moslems gun shots, which killed 18 people including 9 Indian nationals.

Afghan security sources had said Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
, the Pakistain-based bad boy group behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks, carried out the suicide bomb raid which killed many Indian nationals.

Saeed Ansari, front man for Afghanistan’s Directorate of National Security, had said the murderous Moslems who attacked the Indian guesthouse were speaking Urdu, Pakistain’s official language.

"We are very close to the exact proof and evidence that the attack on the Indian guesthouse ... is not the work of the Afghan Taliban
...Arabic for students...
but this attack was carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba network," Ansari said.

India and Pakistain are in conflicts since the second India-Pakistain war in 1965 over the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....

to be part of Berlin conference on the Libyan crisis.

Erdogan added in a joint presser with the Tunisian President Kais Saied on Wednesday that he is certain that Tunis will provide valuable assistance in the efforts to stabilize Libya.

"We are dealing with the legitimate government in Libya and its Presidential Council's Head Fayez al-Sarraj, while Khalifa Haftar

He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. He also said that there are 5000 Sudanese mercenaries plus Russian troops in Libya, saying they are illegally present in the country as Haftar's forces are an illegitimate body.

"We can't leave our Libyan brothers under the mercy of the likes of Haftar." Erdogan indicated, saying Ankara wants to resolve the Libyan crisis via an inter-Libyan dialogue and that he discussed with Saied forms of cooperation to reach a ceasefire in Libya and a return to the political process.

Saied, meanwhile; said the MoU in maritime cooperation between Libya and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
doesn't include Tunisian waters, adding that he discussed with Erdogan the initiative proposed by Tunis to resolve the conflict in Libya.

Earlier, the advisor of the Tunisian Presidency Rachida al-Nefer said on Saturday that the Tunisian President was going to activate an initiative to resolve the Libyan crisis.

Dengov added on Monday that Russia saw that Haftar was active over the last three days as he warned Misrata brigades against staying in Tripoli and threatened to attack the city if it didn't comply.

"Haftar understands that Misrata is protecting western Libya, but after three days of the first ultimatum, he gave another three days, which means he isn't advancing." Dengov added.

Turkish court rules continuation of Kurdish mayor’s detention in first hearing
[Rudaw] A Ottoman Turkish court tried a jugged

Kurdish mayor Wednesday after he spent months in detention awaiting trial. The court ruled to continue his imprisonment.

Selcuk Mizrakli was elected mayor of the Kurdish-majority city of Diyarbakir in southeast The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

in March 2019, running on the ticket of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).

He and two other HDP mayors were removed from office on August 19 for their alleged links to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

countries, considers the PKK to be a terrorist organization.

After being removed from office in August, Mayor Mizrakli was detained by Ottoman Turkish authorities on October 21. His first hearing was held on Wednesday.

The removed mayor is facing 7.5 to 15 years in prison. Charges against him include "being a member of a terrorist organization" and exploiting his public budget in favor of the PKK.

Mizrakli attended the trial from jail via a government video conference system called SEGBIS, but his lawyers and a number of HDP officials were present in the courtroom, according to independent news outlet Bianet.

The court decided to keep Mizrakli in jail until his next hearing on February 10, 2020.

HDP co-chair Sezai Temelli claimed in a tweet that "slanders and lies" against Mizrakli were heard in the trial. "This decision is the display of a printed instruction. There is no justice in the courtroom."

On Monday, Ottoman Turkish authorities arrested Feyme Buluttekin, the HDP mayor for the central district of Sur in Diyarbakir, for terror-related charges after temporarily suspending her for three days.

Founded in 2012, the HDP is accused by Ankara of being the political wing of the PKK.

So far, out of 65 HDP mayors, over 30 have been removed from office since local elections in March, and several of them have been arrested. Most of these arrestees have not been tried yet.

Additionally, 14 HDP candidates who won election have not been given official certification of their win by the electoral commission, according to a November report by the Diyarbakir office of the Human Rights Association (IHD).

, Ottoman Turkish security forces cracked down on dissidents including the HDP, despite the party’s condemnation of the attempted coup.

The HDP has referred to the pro-government administrators who replace HDP mayors after their removal as a "Trustee Regime," stating in a recent report, "We codify the trustees' appointments as a continuation of the denial policy against the Kurds for hundreds of years."

Home Front: WoT
AMEN! DefSec Esper: Free up time, money and manpower to put into our top priorities as per National Defense Strategy: China, No. 1; Russia, No. 2
[MSN] Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper is weighing proposals for a major reduction — or even a complete pullout — of American forces from West Africa as the first phase of reviewing global deployments that could reshuffle thousands of troops around the world, according to officials familiar with internal deliberations.

The discussions of a large-scale pullback from West Africa include abandoning a recently built $110 million drone base in Niger and ending assistance to French forces battling militants in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. The deliberations stem from a push to reduce post-9/11 missions battling terrorist groups, and instead to refocus Pentagon priorities on confronting so-called Great Powers like Russia and China.

With an initial decision about Africa expected in January, the plans are sure to draw criticism from lawmakers, allies and military officials, and could eventually affect most global missions in some way. About 200,000 American forces are currently stationed abroad, similar to the force posture when President Trump took office with a promise to close out the nation’s “endless wars.”

But Mr. Trump is not so much ending wars as he is moving troops from one conflict to another, and Mr. Esper’s initiative aims to carry out that rebalancing.

Officials say the overhaul of Africa deployments will be followed by one in Latin America, and that drawdowns will happen in Iraq and Afghanistan, as has been expected.

The initiative reflects what has become the defining priority for Mr. Esper: moving away from 18 years of counterterrorism deployments in places troubled by militancy and insurgency where thousands of American troops cycle through in an attempt to maintain minimal stability but without much prospect of definitive solutions.

India-Pakistan
Bengal Churches Too Invoke 'Nativity Story' to Protest the CAA.
It's like they're hiring the same scriptwriters these globalist border bashers.
[TimesOfIndia] KOLKATA : Several of Kolkata's Christmas-eve and morning-mass sermons from church leaders have focused on the "need for unity and peace in turbulent times" this year, with some of the sermons directly mentioning the Citizenship(Amendment) Act and the much-discussed National Register of Citizens.

The Church of North India, a province of the worldwide Anglican Communion is the largest non-catholic denomination in India. It is also the single most corrupt entity posing as a religious institution. From a mafia-like control over college admissions and scams involving scholarships to embarrassments that make headlines. Scams that literally take away widow's homes and sell them cheap to muslim builders, bishops stealing money from disaster relief, raping nuns and silencing them. The CNI employs absolute vultures in it's frocked bureaucracy. They had long ago sold or sublet most of the real estate allotted to them for christian use, to muslim land mafias. Now they seem jittery, because with the NRC will come queries on ancestry, residence and proof of domicile. The largest scam of christian property, payed for by the Anglicans and protestants allover the world, and muslim infiltrators living in them. The diocese of Kolkata is perhaps the filthiest table. A stain on the name of christianity and now, a mercenary pressure group for globalists as well. Also, it's the only non-catholic entity we hadn't blocked foreign funding for. This new year, the bishop won't be having imported wine it seems.

As for Calcutta, Bengal it's a bastion of the hard left in India. The state govt encourages leftist, islamist, globalist themes and works tirelessly for zero border control, negating union sovereignty and law enforcement. It's a state that can put Maryland to shame. The cops actually work for robbers, rapists and murderers. Also, Bengal is the number one point of ingress for Rohingya and bangladeshi JMB into India.

Most political bengalis turn out to be marxists for some reason, and almost all self-assumed 'elites' among them (Watch for the thickest glasses) cheering their nobel winning community heroes are clueless imbeciles that blindly vote their community and socialist deities rather than to exercise their control on the destiny of their nation in any meaningful way.

The sermons, calling for an end to the "politics of hate", have come just before all churches get together for a procession from St Paul's Cathedral on Thursday to protest against CAA. The community has invited people of all faiths to join the procession. "We hope people of all faiths will walk against CAA in Thurs-day's march," Archdiocese of Kolkata vicar-general Father Dominic Gomes said.

The focus of the midnight mass at St Paul's Cathedral, the main church of the Kolkata Diocese of the Church of North India, was the "current divisive atmosphere". Parish priests of several churches under the diocese mentioned CAA and NRC and spoke of "maintaining calm and being united" in their morning masses on Wednesday.

"The perpetrators of coercion should develop the fear of God in them and should know where they are going instead of creating this fear psychosis in people. I have asked the congregation not to fear NRC or CAA and help the poor and needy as much as possible by driving the fear ‐ of whether they have relevant documents or not ‐ out of their mind," St John's Church and Union Chapel priest Father Pradip Nanda said.

Israel will not allow Iranian forces to station in Iraq: IDF chief
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Chief-of-Staff for the Israeli Armed Forces, Aviv Kochavi, said on Wednesday that Israel cannot allow Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
to station militarily in Iraq.

According to Ynet News, Kochavi stated on the seventh anniversary of the death of the former Chief-of-Staff, Amnon Lipkin Shahak, that the Israeli army would not allow Iran to be stationed in Iraq

"The Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Iraq ... transfer advanced weapons there monthly. We cannot leave this situation without interference."

Furthermore Kochavi said that "there is an opportunity in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, after the results of the ’Black Belt’ operation, to develop a secure reality and make it more stable."

"In the coming war, we will have to attack with great force in populated areas and also target the state structure or the entity that allows terrorism to act against us," Kochavi continued.

The Israeli military official said that "in the coming war with Leb or with Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,, the internal front in Israel will be subject to major rocket attacks, most of which are inaccurate, but will have an impact," adding that "Israel will target everything that helps in combat operations, such as electricity, fuel, bridges, if the state of Leb, Syria or Hamas and others allow terrorism from its lands to be used against us. "

Israel has accused Iran of transferring long-range weapons and missiles to Iraq, and from there to Syria and Hezbollah in Leb.

The Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi) came under attack in July after a suspected Israeli drone carried out a devastating assault on a base in the Salaheddine Governorate.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Zionist Death Rays
[Arutz 7] - Police have developed a laser-based defense system, similar in essence to the Iron Dome system and intended to thwart incendiary balloons and drones launched from Gaza toward Israel, Yisrael Hayom reported.

The laser system is known as the "Light Blade", and police say it is the first in the world to demonstrate operational capability to blast balloons and drones.

The balloons and kite threat from Gaza that sparked fires in the south and hilly localities and that have the capability to carry payloads and other explosive devices, led the Border Patrol and the Police Means Development Department - in collaboration with the Optidefence company to develop this system that recently demonstrated operational ability to intercept.

Iran is ready to help force the US withdrawal from Syria if Damascus asks: Khamenei

is ready to help Syria with the withdrawal of the US forces that are in the country illegally if Damascus asks for help, Ali Akbar Velayati, an adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, told RT Arabic.

He remarked that the US was stealing Syrian oil and expressed hope that the Syrians would respond and put an end to the US control over some of Syria’s regions.

"We are ready to help with the withdrawal of US forces from Syria if the Syrian authorities ask and to the best of our abilities," Velayati said.

Previously, Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Scourge of Qusayr...
explained in an interview with Chinese broadcaster Phoenix Television that two goals must be achieved in order to make American military forces finally withdraw from the country, where they have been stationed without the government’s authorisation or a UN mandate.

He said that all terrorist groups on Syrian territory must be eradicated, as the fight against them is being used by the US government as a pretext to keep its forces present and that Washington’s allies among the local population need to unite their forces with the Syrian government instead of the foreign forces.

Early in October, the US president announced the withdrawal of American troops from Syrian soil only to partially revert it at a later date. Some US servicemen stayed behind with the Pentagon claiming that they are guarding Syrian oil fields from falling back into the hands of terrorists.

Iran’s Afghan mercenaries threaten Israel: Final target is the Golan
[Jpost] Iranian-recruited Afghans affiliated with the group Liwa Fatemiyoun posted a video on Tuesday showing them near the Golan Heights and claiming that they had come to fight the "Zionists." The Fatemiyoun are a group of Afghan Shi’ites recruited by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to fight in Syria on the side of the Syrian regime. They have played a key role in some battles near Palmyra and they are now continuing to train and live in Syria.

The video was posted to a Twitter account affiliated with the Fatemiyoun and links to a longer version of a documentary about the role of the Afghans in Syria. It is mostly a propaganda film about how they came to fight ISIS and save Shi’ite sites. The longer online version is not centered on Israel as much as the one minute clip they posted to Twitter. The clip shows them near the Golan Heights and claiming that their final target is Israel.

Joe Truzman, a social media user and security expert, noticed the video and added subtitles to it. He says that it "shows their fighters a short distance away from the Golan Heights." The fighters say their "final target is that white mountain which is the Golan Heights and is being held by Israel." The white mountain is the Hermon. It is not clear when the video was shot. There has been some snow on the Hermon this year but it may have been in the spring or years ago.

The unit has operated in Syria for several years, but the claim that they want to target Israel is new and is part of growing Israel-Iran

tensions. Syrian regime media outlet SANA accused Israel of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s over Syria on Sunday night.

Other photos posted recently about the Fatemiyoun show them training near Albukamal and include details of protests against their presence in Deir Ezzor. The photos near Albukamal may have been taken at the Imam Ali base that Iran is building in Syria. The base was hit by airstrikes in September, but recent photos show that Iran is building tunnels to hide weapons there. They appear to be setting down roots in Syria.

Many of these Shi’ites are poor, and signed up to fight for Iran as part of this unit, for low pay and a chance at a better life. They have died in large numbers over the years, with some saying Iran used them as cannon fodder. They numbered in the tens of thousands, but it is not clear how many survived the war. Some of them come to pray at the Sayyidah Zaynab mosque and shrine, and congregate in those areas where Hezbollah members and other Shi’ites live in Syria.

The long-term role of the Fatemiyoun is unclear in Syria but their reference to fighting Israel is part of a larger nexus of Iranian-backed militias in the country, including those from Iraq such as Kata’ib Hezbollah and Asaib Ahl al-Haq, which also view Israel as their main enemy. They have established a presence in Syria in recent years.

Israel is opposed to Iran’s entrenchment and weapons transfers across Syria. Defense Minister Naftali Bennett has warned that Syria could become Iran’s Vietnam. Recent reports from Iran claim that a key IRGC aerospace commander named Amir Ali Hajizadeh was unharmed in a recent airstrike in Syria. Yet it was reported he oversaw a shipment of anti-aircraft missiles to Syria in 2018.

The Fatemiyoun are the lowest level of Iran’s militia network, using armored vehicles and small arms. They are not thought to be part of the sophisticated precision guidance, air defense or drone operations Iran has in Syria.
