Sources tell Fox News that the suspectâs name is Noah Green, 25, who is from Indiana but has ties to Virginia. According to a source in law enforcement, Green identifies himself as a Nation of Islam supporter,

Green appeared to have come on hard times from his Facebook page reviewed by The Post before his account was taken down.
"I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly)," he wrote on March 17, signing the message Brother Noah X.
Taking drugs unknowingly? Possibly we will soon learn that Mr. Green was experiencing blossoming schizophrenia.
Green allegedly slammed into a fence outside the US Capitol just after 1 p.m. Friday and struck two officers before crashing into a barricade.
Green allegedly got out of the car with a knife and lunged at an officer before being fatally shot, reports say.
One of the officers, 18-year veteran William Evans, died at the hospital. The other officer is being treated at an area hospital.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say authorities were conducting an early morning examination aboard the M/V Samjohn Solidarity, a 958-foot breakbulk carrier ship that was anchored near Marylandâs capital city.
During the inspection, the team discovered 20 bricks of the narcotic concealed inside the vesselâs anchor locker. The bricks, which weighed a little more than 44 pounds, tested positive for cocaine and have a street value of more than $1 million, officials say.
"Customs and Border Protection along with our law enforcement partners remain committed to intercepting transnational criminal organizationsâ attempts to smuggle their dangerous drugs into the United States and we remain steadfast in our resolve to help keep our communities safe," said Keith Fleming, Acting Director of Field Operations for CBPâs Baltimore Field Office in a statement. CBP officials say they seized an average of 3,677 pounds of drugs every day across the United States last year.

Security forces, including the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), launched a major campaign on March 28, sending more than 5,000 troops into al-Hol camp, which is troubled by insecurity. The camp houses an estimated 61,000 people from dozens of countries, the majority of whom are family members of suspected ISIS fighters. They have been interned in the camp since the territorial defeat of the group two years ago. Two thirds of the camp’s population are children. The camp has been described as a humanitarian disaster and a potential breeding ground for extremism.
Col. Wayne Marotto, spokesperson for the US-led coalition against ISIS congratulated the SDF and Asayish "on a successful operation" to "bolster safety and security" in al-Hol camp.
According to Hassan, more than 47 people have been murdered inside al-Hol this year. Despite the large numbers of arrests in what was the first phase of a campaign, "the danger in al-Hol camp is not over yet," said Hassan.
"The success of our operation created a safer and more stable environment in al-Hol camp. This will not last long without international support. It is now time to seize this opportunity and come up with a long-term solution together," said Hassan, calling on foreign governments to repatriate their nationals being housed in the camp.
