Afghanistan
Commanders among six TTP terrorists killed in IED attack
[GEO.TV] At least six bully boyz including commanders were killed and 15 others maimed Thursday in an improvised bomb (IED) attack targetting the Tehrik-e-Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
Pakistain (TTP) in Afghanistan’s Khost province
... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name...
Betcha they were key commanders too!
According to sources, the killed forces of Evil were identified as Abdul Manan, Alam Khan Mudakhel, Kajeer while three dead forces of Evil remain unnamed.

Among the injured bully boyz are commander Fazl Amin, commander Muhammad alias Toofan, commander Noor Payo Khan, Faqirullah, Tarozai, Sat Kai, Ali Sur Khan, Zubair, Hijratullah, Kamal, Sher Afzal, Bakhtullah, Zubihullah, and two others.

No group or country has grabbed credit for the attack.

It must be noted that the TTP pledges allegiance to the Afghan Taliban but is not directly a part of the group that rules in Kabul.

On Monday, Taliban forces killed a top ISIS commander who allegedly planned attacks against diplomatic missions in Afghanistan’s capital, a government official said.

The Afghan affiliate of ISIS, known as ISIS Khorasan, after an old name of the region, are enemies of the Taliban. Fighters loyal to ISIS first appeared in eastern Afghanistan in 2014, and later made inroads in other areas.

Violence in Afghanistan dramatically dipped after the Taliban seized power in August 2021.

But in the past year, security has worsened, with a spate of mass casualty attacks claimed by ISIS’s regional chapter.

Taliban forces killed Qari Fateh, the regional ISIS "intelligence and operations chief," during an operation on Sunday night, the Taliban government front man Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement.

Fateh "directly criminal masterminded recent operations in Kabul, including against diplomatic missions, mosques, and other targets," Mujahid said.

One other ISIS member was killed in the operation against the cell, which was based in Kabul’s Khair Khana area, according to the statement.

After Western forces left Afghanistan in August 2021, Pakistain sought a truce with the TTP, resulting in a months-long ceasefire and negotiations brokered by the Afghan Taliban. As part of the effort, many forces of Evil from Afghanistan were resettled in Pakistain.

The TTP ended the ceasefire in November 2022, and regrouped forces of Evil restarted attacks in Pakistain soon after.

Pakistain’s military effectively dismantled the TTP and killed most of its top leadership in a string of operations from 2014 onwards, driving most of the fighters into Afghanistan, where they regrouped.

Somalia: Two women among eight hurt in Mogadishu blast
[ShabelleMedia] A witness says at least eight people, including two women, have been maimed on Thursday after a kaboom destroyed parts of Mogadishu.

The explosion from a remote-controlled landmine was targeted coppers collecting tax from buses at a busy area in Wadajir district, south of the seaside Somali capital.

The maimed victims were rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulances for medical treatment and there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bus station bombing.

The security forces sealed off the scene and conducted an operation which ended in vain as no arrest was made for the attack, which comes amid deteriorating security situation.

The city witnesses in the past weeks surge in killings against Tuk-Tuk drivers with police facing pressure from the public to deal with the insecurity and acts to destabilize the city.

Police blamed al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
for the attacks in the city after losing ground to SNA and allied clan militia in central regions since last year.

Human rights sources in the city of Aden said that "armed elements of the STC militia kidnapped the human rights activist muppet Moath al-Wardi, and took him to one of its prisons in Al Mansura District.

Sources explained that al-Wardi’s abduction came after he published corruption cases in the Zakat Duties Office, which is under the control of government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Aden.

Al-Wardi revealed a number of extortion and bullying operations practiced by the " Duties Office", against merchants in al-Mansoura, indicating that al-Wardi is still inside the STC’s militia prison, according to the sources.

The Abduction of the activist muppet al-Wardi caused wide angry reactions among activist muppets and residents of the al-Mansoura district, considering his abduction as a terrorism for anyone who criticizes the financial corruption.

149 Yemenis Killed and Wounded in Saudi-led Attacks on Shada Border District
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] As a result of the Saudi enemy’s attacks on the border district of Shada in Saada province, about 149 people were killed and injured during the months of January and February, according to medical statistics.

The director of Razih Rural Hospital, Abdullah Musre’a, explained that the number of killed and injured in January of this year reached 83, and in February the number reached 62.

The statistics of the crimes of aggression also increased when three non-combatants were killed and injured by the Saudi enemy army on the last day of February, bringing the statistics to 149 killed and injured.

The health sector confirmed that this situation during the eight years of aggression burdens the hospital, which mainly suffers from a shortage of equipment, medicines and specialists, in the face of the number of victims and the seriousness of many injuries. These shortages are exacerbated by the blockade.

"Most of the critical cases were referred to the governorates hospitals, while others were referred to the capital’s hospitals due to the lack of some medical services," the director of Razih Rural Hospital said.

The head of the emergency department at Razih Rural Hospital, Aseel Manea, indicated that Razih Hospital lacks most of the services, including the lack of fluids, an internal specialist, and an orthopedic specialist, in addition to the lack of a central care unit to care for patients.

The difficult road to the center of the province is another obstacle, which leads to additional deaths.

Various areas of the border districts in Saada are subjected to Saudi missiles and artillery shelling on a daily basis, resulting in heavy casualties and material losses.

(ISIS) financial operative in Hasakah, northeast Syria.

This came in a statement by the Combined Special Operations Joint Forces — Levant (SOJTF-Levant), in which it said the SDF commandos arrested and detained an ISIS financer, who was "involved in providing financial and lethal aid for ISIS operations within the middle Euphrates River Valley."

US Air Forces Brig. Gen. Claude Tudor, SOJTF — Levant commander, stressed that this operation "demonstrates the SDF’s ability to execute unilateral, complex operations and their persistent commitment to the region in the enduring defeat of ISIS."

Tudor added that detaining this ISIS operative contributes to disrupting ISIS ability "to further plot and carry out attacks" against the SDF and innocent civilians in the region.

He stressed the Global Coalition’s commitment to "advising, assisting, and enabling" the SDF to reach their common goal in "maintaining safety and security" of civilians of northeast Syria.

On SDF arrested on February 6 a big shot of ISIS "Wilayah al-Sham" Khalaf Abdullah in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.

Clashes kill one in Palestinian refugee camp
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

One person was killed and several others maimed in overnight festivities in south Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...a formerly French, now an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. ...
's restive Ain al-Helweh Paleostinian refugee camp,
...known around here as Ein el Hellhole because there are so many stories like this, and others that are worse...
a Paleostinian official said Thursday.

The festivities pitted members of Paleostinian president the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
's Fatah movement against Islamist groups in the camp, located near the coastal city of Sidon, said senior Fatah official Mounir Makdah.

"One person was killed and seven maimed," he told AFP, adding that "all Paleostinian forces are working to put an end" to the violence.

Clashes between rival groups are common in Ain al-Helweh, which is home to more than 54,000 registered Paleostinian refugees who have been joined in recent years by thousands of Paleostinians fleeing the conflict in Syria.
As I recall, all but the poorest of the original inhabitants have moved out because of the lawlessness — the Lebanese police are not permitted entry to the camp, and the various Palestinian groups that hold various territories within the camps are not amenable to being forced to comply to the rules of other groups either — renting out their houses to locals and refugees from Syria who can’t afford better housing elsewhere.
An AFP correspondent said shooting had mostly subsided around dawn but that sporadic gunfire could still be heard later in the morning.

The situation remained tense and gunnies deployed to the streets of the camp, while schools run by the United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
agency for Paleostinian refugees, UNRWA, were closed.

By long-standing convention, the Lebanese army does not enter Paleostinian refugee camps in Lebanon, leaving the factions themselves to handle security.

That has created lawless areas in many camps, and Ain al-Helweh has gained notoriety as a refuge for Death Eaters and runaways.
There was a time when we were concerned that it would be conquered by ISIS, but apparently they were driven off.
More than 450,000 Paleostinians are registered with UNRWA in Lebanon.

Most live in one of 12 official refugee camps, often in squalid conditions, and face a variety of legal restrictions, including on their employment.
