Devin Nunes Refers Clinton Confident Sidney Blumenthal for Testimony in Russia Probe
[Breitbart] NEW YORK ‐ House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) has referred 15 individuals, including longtime Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, for possible "open setting" testimony in the ongoing Russia investigation.

The list was sent to House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA). Many of the names are tied to the discredited anti-Trump dossier produced by the controversial Fusion GPS firm, which was paid for its dossier work by both Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) via the Perkins Coie lawfirm.

Indeed, Perkins Coie attorney Marc E. Elias, who reportedly was involved in arranging the payments that resulted in the dossier, made the Nunes list. As did Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson. Nellie Ohr, who was allegedly employed by Fusion GPS to do anti-Trump work and is the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, appears on the list.

Blumenthal’s inclusion brings the Russia probe remarkably close to the Clinton orbit.

After his name surfaced in news media reports related to probes by House Republicans into the dossier, Jonathan M. Winer, the Obama State Department official tied to the Clintons, authored a Washington Post oped in which he conceded that while he was working at the State Department he exchanged documents and information with dossier author and former British spy Christopher Steele.

Rees-Mogg says May's deal 'worse' than 'no deal' Brexit
[TheTelegraph]Jacob Rees-Mogg said the deal Theresa May agreed with her Cabinet could be “worse” than a “no deal” Brexit and suggested it broke the Conservatives’ manifesto promises.

Mr Rees-Mogg, the leader of a 60-strong group of Eurosceptic Tory MPs, said tying the UK with EU rules and regulations could make “trade deals almost impossible”.

“As with eggs: an egg that is very softly boiled isn’t boiled at all,” he said, speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. “A very soft Brexit means that we haven’t left, we are simply a rule-taker.
“That is not something that this country voted for, it is not what the Prime Minister promised.”

Mr Rees-Mogg said he was waiting to see the full details of the proposals...

Fauxcahontas Commands Trump: EPA Administrator Must Believe in Climate Change
[Breitbart] Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said on Thursday following President Donald Trump’s tweet announcing that Scott Pruitt was stepping down as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that anyone who doesn’t believe in climate change should not head the agency.

The Hill reported on Warren’s statement about Pruitt’s resignation in which she said he should have been fired "28 scandals ago," even though he was not fired but tendered a letter of resignation to Trump.

In the letter, Pruitt mentioned "unrelenting attacks" from the leftwing media and Democrats for alleged ethics violations, including criticism of family members "that have taken a sizable toll on all of us."

Warren claimed in the statement that Pruitt should never have been selected by Trump because he didn’t believe in manmade climate change.
"A man who doesn’t believe in climate change never should have been in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency in the first place," Warren said. "And a government official that corrupt should have been fired by the President of the United States 28 scandals ago."

Warren also slammed Andrew Wheeler, Pruitt’s deputy who will now serve as acting administrator, saying he is "a longtime Washington insider and corporate lawyer who’s done the bidding of fossil fuel companies for decades."

#4  If Elizabeth Warren want certain qualifications to head an department, then she need to run for and be elected presentient. Then she can do whatever she want.

Until then STFU, Trump is elected President and get to decide the qualifications, not you.

#10  I am informed that the new EPA Administrator has a polar bear as their spirit animal, and they are the best spirit animals. None better. Slaughter seals and polluting spirit animals. so I think we can let this subject rest for now.

#11  Well, Fauxcahontas, there's "climate change" (human caused, requiring you and your commie friends to "fix" it. Screw that.) And then there's the next ice age (the default climate for the last few hundred thousand years) where most of Massachusetts will be under a mile-thick glacier. I believe in climate change option 2.

#12  Note how all the screaming left "BELIEVE" in Climate Change just like its a religion?

Think they could analyse the data and methodology and arrive at logical conclusions?

Nah, me neither.

#13  Remember the Great Age of European Colonialism: how the European Elite would civilize the world and save us from barbarism? Fast Forward to the post-WW2 and we needed a One-World Government to save us from Overpopulation, Disease and Starvation...

Let us pause a moment and pay homage to Dr. Norman Borlaug, the Father of the Green Revolution.

...Then the 70's arrived and the would-be Socialists prophesied that Capitalism and Global Cooling Warming Climate Change needed that same OWG. With a cadre of incorruptible technocrats carefully chosen from that same European Elite Caste. People like Sen. Elizabeth Warren only dream that they will be let into the Inner Circles. (Do I think there is an actual, formal Conspiracy? No, but there sure seems to be a large group that think the same on the same subjects...)
