[DefiantAmerica] ...Biden does a semi-squat at the window and bows his head to take his sunglasses off before slowly lifting it toward the kids, exposing his pearly whites.
We normally wouldn’t post photos of kids, but there’s something about this picture of Biden just outside the window ... so close, and yet so far.
Photo below:
OK, so that's not the real photo, but the one embedded in the story looks like it could be a still from Cape Fear.

WTF - Biden goes to peer through a window? Your the @#$% POTUS, you don't go full Peeping Tom because you don't have to! But he has no faculties to draw on so he goes with his instincts: predator. The girls in this case win the day. They didn't go full hero worship (as their moms would have done) but took hilarious selfies putting Biden in proper frame. Where were the parents? Prolly outside doing what the girls were smart enough to avoid.

#1 One good takeaway - the Kennedys are now past tense, politically speaking. Every fad runs its course.

Raj,
That particular fad lasted far longer than it should have. I suspect if that moron Oswald hadn't backshot JFK, the fascination with them never would have happened.
First, JFK would have been tarred by Vietnam. Don't believe most of what you read; he was no more likely to have put a stop to things than Lyndon Johnson was. And while we're talking about Johnson, it's often overlooked that Johnson was being associated with some bribery scandals that may well have brought him down if Kennedy (who knew full well what was going on) didn't decide to drop him from the ticket anyways. Kennedy's death likely saved Johnson from a truly ugly political end. And all that assumes that Kennedy's health held out long enough for him to seek and serve a second term.
Bobby almost certainly wouldn't have been elected if John was still alive, and quite frankly Teddy would have been perfectly happy living off the family's name, money and influence.

Newsom always reminds me of Michael Douglas in movies where he played the part of sleazoids like Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct and Wall Street. Part of it is the Dippity Do hair but most of it is the fact the Newsom really is a sleazoid.

The New Kennedy's what? Who, by the way, is "The New Kennedy" who apparently owns something? How did that errant apostrophe sneak into that title? Am I the only one here who went to school and learned about the use of apostrophes? Perhaps I should have written "apostrophe's". Perhaps I should get myself a cup of coffee and stop trying to correct the incorrectable. I'm really old.

@#4 - Uh, maybe it was an honest mistake? Sounds like you come across these grammatical atrocities all day every day. Keep it up and I'll start using hypercorrections, you know, "between him and I".

"between him and I".
Noooooooo! You know I adore you, DooDah Man, but if you ever do that on purpose again, I will come through your screen and slap you upside the head.
Yes, of course it was an honest mistake. Usually I catch those before our volunteer editors have a chance to point them out, but I was rushed this morning.

Please, all of you, STOP IT! I spent 12 years in Catholic schools in the fifties and sixties. I had my grammar almost literally beaten into me. I twitch when I see some of these grammar errors.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
