On the flanks of Bakhmut, Russian troops seized the initiative from the enemy, who had used up resources during unsuccessful attempts to encircle the city.

In the northwest of Bakhmut, units of the 98th Guards Airborne Division repulsed an attack at the Berkhovskoye Reservoir and launched a counteroffensive in the direction of Bogdanovka and Khromovo (Artemovsky).

As a result, Russian paratroopers managed to expand the zone of control around the reservoir (recapture what the Ukrainian Armed Forces had occupied for several months at the cost of hundreds of lives), and also successfully advanced to Khromovo.

Even during the assault on Bakhmut itself by the forces of the Wagner PMC, the village was important for supplying the garrison of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now the liberation of the settlement will create the preconditions for pressure on the southern outskirts of Bakhmut.

Khromovo is located not far from Krasnoye (Ivanovskoye) - the village from which artillery attackof the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in Kleshcheevka and the surrounding area came. Now, units of the Russian Army will be able to improve their positions at the Bakhmut dachas and in the direction of Krasnoye, attacking from two sides.

Changes in the configuration of the front have already affected the line at Kleshcheevka, where the intensity of the fire has significantly decreased. Probably some of the guns and mortars were pulled away from the front line.

At the moment, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces are systematically knocking out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the approaches to Kleshcheevka. The village itself is not of significant importance due to its location in the lowlands. The heights to the north and in the direction of Krasny are important, for which the struggle is taking place.

The fighting in the Orekhovsky sector had long since moved into the positional phase. For a long time, Ukrainian formations have not launched major attacks similar to those they carried out in the summer and early autumn with the massive use of armored vehicles.

At the same time, Russian troops are gradually retaking positions near Rabotino and Verbov, lost in previous months. For now, we are not talking about attempting some kind of large counter-offensive, but about occupying more tactically advantageous positions.

Bad weather, which is now observed in several areas at once, has a great influence on the fighting. This limits the use of aircraft and drones, and eroded soil with mud makes it difficult to move equipment. In such conditions, the intensity of military clashes is forced to decrease.

At the same time, the enemy command is transferring the forces that previously operated near Orekhovo to Avdievka: in particular, units of the 116th Mechanized Brigade recently left there. At the moment, the Zaporozhye direction is becoming more and more secondary for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This zone, in particular Borovaya, is important for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in supplying the group in Kupyansk due to the destruction of crossings through Oskol.

The other day, Russian assault units carried out a daring attack on the strongholds of the 21st Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces east of the village of Terny south of the Zhuravka gully.

As a result of the battle, the Ukrainian formations fled from the position, and reinforcements were sent to help. Several groups of 21st infantry brigade on three infantry fighting vehicles counterattacked, but unsuccessfully, suffering losses in manpower and one infantry fighting vehicle.

In the Svatovsky section, the movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was also noted at the Makeevka - Nevskoye line. The enemy expects the Russian army to become more active along the Zhuravka-Makeevka line, which could create problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping, including near Kupyansk.

Against this background, artillery attack of Russian positions along the LBS intensified from tanks and artillery. Our soldiers captured one of these moments yesterday: a Leopard 1A5 DK was firing east of the village of Vishnevoye when a shell landed on it. As a result, the crew abandoned the vehicle in an open field, which became the first documented loss of tanks of this type in the conflict.

The artillery work falls silent, but not for long. Daily round-the-clock shooting battles, artillery explosions near and in positions, difficult conditions for paratroopers.

All night the enemy was rolling around his forward positions, possibly transporting ammunition, rotating personnel, or something else.

Incursions by enemy reconnaissance groups still do not stop, our fighters conduct surveillance 24/7 and immediately inflict fire damage upon detection of the enemy

Units of the Center group of troops continue to carry out combat missions of a special military operation in the Krasnolimansk direction.

Army aviation strikes and artillery fire from the Center grouping of troops defeated concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in the Torskoye and Grigorovka areas. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 40 military personnel, two pickup trucks

Near Kupyansk, military personnel of the “West” group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, during several weeks of systematic advance deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, knocked out Ukrainian formations from several landings south and southwest of Liman 1st and entered the village of Sin'kovka.

The settlement can actually be called a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area, despite its small size. The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed large reserves to defend the village, but Russian fighters managed to gain a foothold.

As a result of the latest battles, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted significant damage on the enemy. According to the interception data, the combined units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost one killed and 20 wounded, and 30 were missing, which can be equated to liquidated or captured.

To the east, at the Ivanovka-Kislovka line, positional battles continue without visible changes in the front. But in the vicinity of the abandoned village of Zagoruykovka or Timkovka, Russian troops were able to wedge themselves into the enemy’s defenses.

Despite the absence of any fortified positions, the former settlement is located on a hill where the Ukrainian command built its defense along the Timkovka-Ivanovka-Kislovka line.

Because of this, Ukrainian formations urgently began to transfer reinforcements to strengthen the second defensive line in Podol and Petropavlovka. Also, three unidentified units were transferred from the borders with the Belgorod region to Kupyansk.

The forest area in the Kupyansky direction is gradually being cleared. Russian troops approached the settlement of Sin'kovka.

North of Bakhmut, we managed to regain control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and enter the village of Khrovoye.

To the south-west of Avdievka in the Severny area, attempts are being made to advance. It was possible to capture a number of Ukrainian positions.

Plus there is some progress at Staromayorsky.

Units of the South group of forces continue to carry out tasks in the Donetsk direction of the special military operation.

With the support of aviation and artillery fire, Russian units successfully repelled three attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces assault groups, occupied more advantageous lines and positions in the Artemovsk area, and defeated enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Chasov Yar, Kleshcheevka, Georgievka. In total, the enemy lost up to 135 military personnel and three pickup trucks in this direction.

Units of the West group of forces continue to carry out combat missions of a special military operation in the Kupyansk direction.

During the active defense, motorized rifle formations of the 6th Combined Arms Army, supported by artillery fire, repelled four counterattacks by assault groups of the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade in the Sin'kovka area. The total enemy losses amounted to up to 30 military personnel.

Crews of heavy flamethrower systems struck a concentration of manpower in the shelters of the 21st Mechanized Brigade in the Terna area.

During the counterbattery fight, the group’s artillery destroyed a 152mm howitzer D-20 in the Yampolovka area.

In the Kherson-Crimean direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces marines attacked in forest plantations southwest of the village. They were partially successful. The forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area are very limited, and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, on the contrary, have assembled here, although heterogeneous, a striking force.

Russian long-range weapons operated on Ukrainian positions in Kamyshany, Kherson, Antonovka, Prydneprovsky, Poniatovka, Tokarevka, Novotyaginka, Tyaginka and Lvov. The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the Russian Armed Forces in Skadovsk. Their artillery fired at Russian units in Gola Pristan, Kardashinka, Alyoshki, Poima, Peschanovka, Podstepnoye, Cossack Camps, Korsunka and Novaya Kakhovka.

In the Zaporozhye direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after shelling, attacked west of the village of Rabotino and northeast of Verbovoye. No success. Their positions in the settlements of Plavni, Stepnogorsk, Kamenskoye, Pyatikhatki, Malye Shcherbaki, Rabotino and Malaya Tokmachka are under attack. Russian ones - in Zherebyanki, Konovalovo, Nesteryanka, Novoprokopovka and Novofedorovka.

On the Donetsk front, bad weather made adjustments to the actions of both sides. Nevertheless, the RF Armed Forces, under the cover of long-range weapons, continued assault operations in Marinka, near Pervomaisky, Severny (a settlement west of Avdievka), in the industrial zone in the southeast of Avdievka and in the direction of Novokalinov. There is progress in the last section. Ukrainian positions in Novomikhailovka, Pobeda, Krasnohorivka, Tonenkoye, Orlovka, Keramika and New York are under fire. Russian - in Aleksandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Donetsk, Opytny, the village of Krasnogorovka and Gorlovka.

The night strike of "Geraniums" and missile weapons fell on enemy targets in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region (airfield), Voznesensk, Nikolaev region, Vinnitsa, Bila Tserkva, Kiev region, Kanatovo, Kirovograd region, Zaporozhye, as well as in the Dnepropetrovsk region. In the evening, there were reports of Iskander and FAB attacks on targets in the areas occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka. In the Kherson direction, battles continue at Krynoki, and the enemy is also being destroyed in the coastal zone. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to increase the presence of manpower on our shore; in the evening, our troops sank one enemy boat, and our FPV drones finished off the surviving personnel.

On the Zaporozhye front, the weather complicates enemy actions. At Verbovoy there were battles at small arms range, the enemy again tried to storm our positions. At Rabotino, our troops carried out a number of active actions and occupied a number of enemy strongholds and were gaining a foothold on the ground. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired a HIMARS rocket launcher at a hospital in Tokmak, killing some of the medical staff.

In the Avdeevsky direction, our troops are consolidating in the liberated industrial zone and demining the area. The enemy is firing mortars and drones at Russian units in their former fortified area; interceptions confirm the Ukrainian Armed Forces' lack of artillery ammunition in the direction. However, the high intensity of hostilities remains throughout the Avdeevsky direction.

The Russian Armed Forces retain the initiative at Sin'kovka near Kupyanskaya and in the Kleshcheevka area (south of Artyomovsk), fighting continues.

In the Belgorod region, the village came under fire. Poroz, Grayvoronsky urban district, in the village. In Mokraya Orlovka, Grayvoronsky urban district, an infrastructure communications facility was attacked by a kamikaze drone. In the Krasnodar Territory, a UAV was found on the coast of the Yeisk region. The enemy fired 140 rounds of ammunition at the civilian population of the DPR, wounding 9 civilians.
