Let me try to give you a clearer example, in this case about "trans" people.
I think an adult person has the right to be what he/she etc. wants to be, and live how he/she/etc. wants to live AS LONG AS this doesn't seriously interfere with the rights of other people.
So if you were born with male genitals, biology tells us that you are a man. Now if you don't want to accept biology and want to live and dress like a woman, that's your choice.
What you can't enforce is the right to be treated like a woman by others. So no, you can't compete in the women's compartment in sports, you don't get to share a cell with a woman in prison and many other things. This is where wokeism runs amok.
The funny thing is: All those "woke" people wouldn't accept a white person pretending to be black. Because that's different.
In Germany, woke people try to enforce special rules of "gender speech". They try to change grammar, often in an absurd and stupid way. I will never accept this.
