REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) - Scott Peterson was convicted Friday of murdering his pregnant wife and dumping her body in San Francisco Bay in what prosecutors in the made-for-cable-TV case portrayed as a cold-blooded attempt to escape marriage and fatherhood for the bachelor life.
We now resume our regularly scheduled lives.

Special circumstances most definitely apply. This maggot is guilty as sin. One needle to find him, one needle to bind him, in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

I am so glad this is NOT going to be national news any more. I don't even know why it was to begin with. Yea fry him up in about 20 years, thjis is California. No one gets the death peanalty actually carried out.
Oh God! The humanity!!
CHILHOWIE, Va. - Fourteen cars of an 83-car Norfolk Southern train derailed near an industrial park, leaving the area smelling like a brewery Thursday. About 20,000 gallons of beer leaked from three cars of the Roanoke-bound train, said railway spokesman Robin Chapman. No one was injured when the cars skipped the tracks about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Chapman said.

"About 20,000 gallons of beer leaked from three cars of the Roanoke-bound train."
I believe I can hear a low, agonized moaning.... and the stampede of guys with buckets converging on the area.

There also was an overturned tractor-trailer with a load of peanuts.

The least they could do is tell us what kind of beer. I'm not rushing off to Virginia for Schaeffer, or Hamms, or Meisterbrau but I might if it's Sam Adams.

I think it was last year sometime, that a Jim Beam distillery caught fire and burned? In my liver's opinion, that was an infinitely more tragic event.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
